I always get dizzy/almost black out whenever I use a tampon it usually happens after I put it in though. It’s always put it correctly and after like 30s I’m okay so I don’t think anything of it.
I got my Period in class one day, and I had to get up in front of the class to give a presentation. I didn't know that I had gotten it... I had on a white dress... huge mistake. My crush (now bf) was sitting behind me and when I stood up the class stared laughing and I didn't know why. My crush stood up and walked behind me all the way to the front of the class and when I turned around to face the class he bent down and whispered that I had a stain on my dress, then he took his sweatshirt off and wrapped it around my waist in front of the whole class. After the presentation I asked to go to my locker and the teacher said No, My crush asked me if I had clothes and a tampon in my locker and I said yeah but no clothes, he then asked for my combination and he walked out the class without asking, went to his locker and got me sweats and then went to mine and got me a tampon... came in the class with the tampon out in the open and handed it to me with his sweats... he grabbed my hand and walked me out the classroom all the way to the bathroom and waited for me to get changed then walked me back. Teacher was pissed and got fired cause my crush told the principle

I was lucky enough to know about and be prepared for my period years in advance. I keep hearing stories about people being surprised or scared or sad about their period but I was literally waiting for mine and I had been wearing a pad on the day of my first period.
I'd just like to say, Thank you, Sharon for showing me how to put on a pad correctly. Yes, i didn't know how to use a pad correctly because no one showed me how. I was bleeding so much before that my mom said let's get you birth control. I told her that the reason I was changing my pad so much was because I didn't put it on right and she just said "Oh. Well, didn't anyone show you how." I said "No. they (my mom included) apparently just expect us to know this stuff."

On the first day of school my (male) Health/PE teacher showed us a slideshow covering what we were going to do this school year and the rules. There was a whole entire slide on that slide show talking about how he won’t let you sit out for a day if you’re on your period. His reasoning for this was “I have been teaching health class for 7 years. So I know period cramps are not real. Their just a myth, made up by women as an excuse to be lazy”
The one with the person that blacked out, i can relate sort of bcuz it was my first time putting a tampon in i was having a panic attack and was so dizzy i almost passed out but i didn’t lol
I just got my period in school, luckily I knew it was going to happen so i was wearing period underwear. My cramps are usually pretty bad tho, so I wanted to go home to get medicine. I have a first period story: I was on spring break and going on a trip with my aunt and three male cousins. My mom thought I might get my first period soon so she packed some pads in my suitcase. My mom told me that I had to tell my aunt if I got my period. when we were going to get our luggage we couldn't find mine and had to ask the people that were working there, they said that they accidentally dropped my luggage off in the wrong place and it would take five days to come to us. We were only going to be there for seven days so we asked them if they could just bring my luggage to my house. they said yes. Then on the last day of us being there, I got my first period. I decided to just wait until I got home to tell anyone because it was our last day. I tried to use toilet paper instead but I leaked. My aunt saw and bought me pads. I was really embarrassed.
I was still quite new to periods when this happened, but one time in art class my friend told me I had a stain on my uniform. I wasn't aware of the idea of just tying a jumper around my waist so I went to the bathroom and started SCRUBBING. It didn't all come off so I just decided to tell anyone who asked that it was paint from art class 😂

I was supposed to get mine when I was ten cause that's when my mom got hers so my mom started telling me what it was when I was ten and I ended up not getting it until I was twelve but I was very educated. Thanks mom!
My cousin got taught about periods at the age of 6 since her mum is a Muslim and has to fast but she wasn't (it is Ramadan but she was on her period and you are not ment to when you are impure ) my cousin asked her mum why she is not fasting and the mum told her the talk. Also I think all mums and teacher should teach girls AND BOYS about puberty but in different rooms with there same gender (e.g the boys get taught about boys and girls puberty and the boys and girls are in separate rooms and have their gender teacher) to be more comfortable.

My school bathroom used to have a bin (it was like for storing water like a big one)if it was empty everyone would throw their period products cause there was no trash can but when the school realised they literally covered that bin with wood that's like super heavy so everyone literally had to like rap it in paper or the like cover that It came in and throw it in a corner that everyone could see , I (currently on my 2nd period) now only wear overnight period panties to school.
I have two stories. 1) I got my first period over summer break (thank goodness). The day before my family and I went swimming and I was getting really bad cramps. The entire rest of the day I felt like I was being stabbed, and I wasn’t hungry for dinner. The next day I woke up crying and still in pain. My mom called the doctor and when we were about to leave I was still in my pjs. I went to change my underwear because it felt wet, and that is when I finally realized “Hey I’m not dying! Just my period!” 2) My first time using a tampon was a nightmare. I was trying for about a week until I finally got it in. About 30 minutes later I was feeling really lightheaded, my vision was blurry, my ears were ringing, and I was getting heat flashes. I thought I was going to pass out. By the way this was IN A RESTAURANT. My mom was ordering food, and my grandma was waiting with me for the bathroom to be open. When I could finally go in, my mom was with me and my tampon was stuck. It was so hard and painful to get out. I probably put it in wrong, but it also turns out my period was basically over and so it was really dry. I haven’t gotten a tampon in successfully yet.
As a male this is very important information you make it easier to understand over the plain text in a textbook that doesn't really get into details about the reproductive system
Hey Queen! I have another horror story for you that is SCHOOL edition this time so here we go! So my friend got her period a few days ago in school. She's a little younger than me so i told her how to throw away her pad properly and gave her some advice. We go to the bathroom to get changed for P.E. Because we have a male teacher. When she was changing, she changed her pad. She told me to wait on her so while she was changing I told her that there was a period product bin next to the toilet but she literally walked out of the stall with a bloody pad. Blood was dripping all over the floor. She said "what bin? There's no bin!" I pointed to the bin in the stall and she just left the bathroom with her period blood all over the floor.
I’ve got a pretty scary one… So these drama queens in my class ALWAYS fight and last week one of them put a pad with red marker into the other girls water bottle and it dissolved completely and they didn’t even have their periods so it was kinda scary for the class to witness..

If you do have a school uniform buy a extra pair of clean uniform keep one in your locker, one in school coneler office, one with the Nurse. You'll 3 places to go for a clean uniform
My period started during state testing you can’t leave the room in that test... I bled on the chair bc if you that room the teacher gets fired it was my fav teach so I bled on the chair I got suspended...
I am glad I got my first period at 13 and that my whole class INCLUDING BOYS were educated about periods. Also there was once an assembly where at one point the teacher who was head of year (male) explained that girls on periods HAD to use the bathroom. My school is the best
so i actually had first time bleeding through, at school. i thought i was so i went to the bathroom, it was a heavy day and i usually don't have to change my pad more than once at school. i tied my school jacker around my waist and waited till the end of school, as luck would have it. i actually bled through to my jacket. luckily no one noticed as i ran to my car. my friend needed a ride so we walked together and i told her. she was sympathetic about it but i was more worried about the fact that i could bleed onto the car seat. AND with my luck most roads have flooded. we took 10 mins to drop her off and then 10 to get back home. as soon as we hot back i wash my shorts (i have a uniform) and my jacket and change. luckily they arent stained.
My friend was on their period and it was in class with a female teacher and she asked to go to the loo the teacher said ask again in 5 minutes she asks again in 5 minutes but teacher says you can go 1 minute early but the lesson still had 45 minutes left so 10 minutes later she asks again but the teacher says stay behind after class to have a chat so after class me and a few more friends were waiting until she came out crying she said that the teacher had said that she knew she was on her period but so was the teacher but she didn’t see her complaining so my friend ended up missing her bus and had bleed all the way through her skirt and now no one likes that teacher the teacher also said about how disrespectful she was being
So my mom got her period at 13. Therefore I expected to get mine then too. I learned what periods were at like 8 or 9 from an amazing American Girl book (The Care and Keeping of You 1), but it was still a little bit of a shock when I got it at 11. Thankfully, my mom had already stocked pads under my counter, so I was good. Just a little scared.
My period is still irregular cause I got it a year ago, so like everyone few months I’ll get like barely any period, then the next month or after I’ll get the worse cramps ever and a heavy period and it will keep relapsing, so I’m on my like 3rd relapse (I’ll call it) and the pain was so unbearable at school and I couldn’t even walk without wanting to scream, so on my first day of this period I used all my pain meds (which didn’t even work) so the next day at school the pain was probably even worse so I asked the teacher for pain med and said it was a headache cause if I said it was a stomachache I think she would think it was like normal stomachache and say Tylenol wouldn’t fix it. So she went to the medicine and there WAS NONE, so I basically had to walk with her around while she asked people if they had it, luckily one girl did, and my embarrassment ended even tho no one knew it was cramps, (we have a really small American school so we all know each other and we can have medicine) needless to say it didn’t start working til A few hours AFTER I got home, and i put extra meds in. Or I’ll put it in my jeans pocket since I can walk around with it all day and it’s accessible always.
This story is from my cousin. Also I got a heads up because my cousins got theirs REALLY early and I got mine pretty late. I still have a story for that for after. Anyways this is her perspective. She was camping with her whole family when she felt something weird down there. She excused herself to the bathroom which was literally behind a tree. She squatted down and looked in her underwear and it was just blood. (We got the talk pretty early because we were in swim class at the time and just in case it happened randomly we knew what was going on). She SHOVED toilet paper in her undies and just prayed it wouldn’t leak anymore. Despite this she was relatively calm. (as I said, we got the talk early). Her mom didn’t find out until a couple days later. My experience was a whole lot different. A whole lot nastier too😭😭😭 I got my period in January this year… Or so I thought. Before I got my “first period” I would always find this stuff in my undies. It was all brown and sticky and just weird and gross. I didn’t know what to do about it so I just hid it from my family. when I got my ACTUAL first period was in like September last year😀. With my first experience on handling my period properly, I had really bad cramps headaches and nausea. I got really sick and even had to stay home from school for like a week. This went on for every single period every single month until March. It’s kind of just like clockwork now and I haven’t had any school incidents (*knock on wood*) but yeah😀 those are some period horror stories for you. I LOVE YOUR VIDS😁😁😁

I have 2!!!! I was in middle school (7th grade I’m pretty sure, first day of second semester) and I remember feeling very light cramps. My mom never told me how cramps felt, or that I’d probably be starting my period soon. I went to the clinic during transition and I called my mom at work. I got McDonald’s and I went home early that day 😂 My other one is that I went to a celebration that the school had if you made your AR goal. I knew I was on my period that same year. But I didn’t realize that there was a difference between panty liners and pads. I leaked and nobody told me. My ex boyfriend saw me. I rode the bus home and walked home with a huge blood stain. 😩😭

I just got my period in school, luckily I knew it was going to happen so i was wearing period underwear. My cramps are usually pretty bad tho, so I wanted to go home to get medicine. I didn't have a ride, so I walked 30 minutes in the heat with my heavy backpack to get home all the while in so much pain

I have a first period story:
I was on spring break and going on a trip with my aunt and three male cousins. My mom thought I might get my first period soon so she packed some pads in my suitcase. My mom told me that I had to tell my aunt if I got my period. when we were going to get our luggage we couldn't find mine and had to ask the people that were working there, they said that they accidentally dropped my luggage off in the wrong place and it would take five days to come to us. We were only going to be there for seven days so we asked them if they could just bring my luggage to my house. they said yes. Then on the last day of us being there, I got my first period. I decided to just wait until I got home to tell anyone because it was our last day. I tried to use toilet paper instead but I leaked. My aunt saw and bought me pads. I was really embarrassed.
I was still quite new to periods when this happened, but one time in art class my friend told me I had a stain on my uniform. I wasn't aware of the idea of just tying a jumper around my waist so I went to the bathroom and started SCRUBBING. It didn't all come off so I just decided to tell anyone who asked that it was paint from art class 😂

I was supposed to get mine when I was ten cause that's when my mom got hers so my mom started telling me what it was when I was ten and I ended up not getting it until I was twelve but I was very educated. Thanks mom!
My cousin got taught about periods at the age of 6 since her mum is a Muslim and has to fast but she wasn't (it is Ramadan but she was on her period and you are not ment to when you are impure ) my cousin asked her mum why she is not fasting and the mum told her the talk.
Also I think all mums and teacher should teach girls AND BOYS about puberty but in different rooms with there same gender (e.g the boys get taught about boys and girls puberty and the boys and girls are in separate rooms and have their gender teacher) to be more comfortable.

My school bathroom used to have a bin (it was like for storing water like a big one)if it was empty everyone would throw their period products cause there was no trash can but when the school realised they literally covered that bin with wood that's like super heavy so everyone literally had to like rap it in paper or the like cover that It came in and throw it in a corner that everyone could see , I (currently on my 2nd period) now only wear overnight period panties to school.

I have two stories.
1) I got my first period over summer break (thank goodness). The day before my family and I went swimming and I was getting really bad cramps. The entire rest of the day I felt like I was being stabbed, and I wasn’t hungry for dinner. The next day I woke up crying and still in pain. My mom called the doctor and when we were about to leave I was still in my pjs. I went to change my underwear because it felt wet, and that is when I finally realized “Hey I’m not dying! Just my period!”
2) My first time using a tampon was a nightmare. I was trying for about a week until I finally got it in. About 30 minutes later I was feeling really lightheaded, my vision was blurry, my ears were ringing, and I was getting heat flashes. I thought I was going to pass out. By the way this was IN A RESTAURANT. My mom was ordering food, and my grandma was waiting with me for the bathroom to be open. When I could finally go in, my mom was with me and my tampon was stuck. It was so hard and painful to get out. I probably put it in wrong, but it also turns out my period was basically over and so it was really dry. I haven’t gotten a tampon in successfully yet.
As a male this is very important information you make it easier to understand over the plain text in a textbook that doesn't really get into details about the reproductive system

Hey Queen! I have another horror story for you that is SCHOOL edition this time so here we go!
So my friend got her period a few days ago in school. She's a little younger than me so i told her how to throw away her pad properly and gave her some advice. We go to the bathroom to get changed for P.E. Because we have a male teacher. When she was changing, she changed her pad. She told me to wait on her so while she was changing I told her that there was a period product bin next to the toilet but she literally walked out of the stall with a bloody pad. Blood was dripping all over the floor. She said "what bin? There's no bin!" I pointed to the bin in the stall and she just left the bathroom with her period blood all over the floor.

I am glad I got my first period at 13 and that my whole class INCLUDING BOYS were educated about periods. Also there was once an assembly where at one point the teacher who was head of year (male) explained that girls on periods HAD to use the bathroom.
My school is the best
so i actually had first time bleeding through, at school. i thought i was so i went to the bathroom, it was a heavy day and i usually don't have to change my pad more than once at school. i tied my school jacker around my waist and waited till the end of school, as luck would have it. i actually bled through to my jacket. luckily no one noticed as i ran to my car. my friend needed a ride so we walked together and i told her. she was sympathetic about it but i was more worried about the fact that i could bleed onto the car seat. AND with my luck most roads have flooded. we took 10 mins to drop her off and then 10 to get back home. as soon as we hot back i wash my shorts (i have a uniform) and my jacket and change. luckily they arent stained.
My friend was on their period and it was in class with a female teacher and she asked to go to the loo the teacher said ask again in 5 minutes she asks again in 5 minutes but teacher says you can go 1 minute early but the lesson still had 45 minutes left so 10 minutes later she asks again but the teacher says stay behind after class to have a chat so after class me and a few more friends were waiting until she came out crying she said that the teacher had said that she knew she was on her period but so was the teacher but she didn’t see her complaining so my friend ended up missing her bus and had bleed all the way through her skirt and now no one likes that teacher the teacher also said about how disrespectful she was being
So my mom got her period at 13. Therefore I expected to get mine then too. I learned what periods were at like 8 or 9 from an amazing American Girl book (The Care and Keeping of You 1), but it was still a little bit of a shock when I got it at 11. Thankfully, my mom had already stocked pads under my counter, so I was good. Just a little scared.

My period is still irregular cause I got it a year ago, so like everyone few months I’ll get like barely any period, then the next month or after I’ll get the worse cramps ever and a heavy period and it will keep relapsing, so I’m on my like 3rd relapse (I’ll call it) and the pain was so unbearable at school and I couldn’t even walk without wanting to scream, so on my first day of this period I used all my pain meds (which didn’t even work) so the next day at school the pain was probably even worse so I asked the teacher for pain med and said it was a headache cause if I said it was a stomachache I think she would think it was like normal stomachache and say Tylenol wouldn’t fix it. So she went to the medicine and there WAS NONE, so I basically had to walk with her around while she asked people if they had it, luckily one girl did, and my embarrassment ended even tho no one knew it was cramps, (we have a really small American school so we all know each other and we can have medicine) needless to say it didn’t start working til A few hours AFTER I got home, and i put extra meds in. Or I’ll put it in my jeans pocket since I can walk around with it all day and it’s accessible always.

This story is from my cousin. Also I got a heads up because my cousins got theirs REALLY early and I got mine pretty late. I still have a story for that for after. Anyways this is her perspective.
She was camping with her whole family when she felt something weird down there. She excused herself to the bathroom which was literally behind a tree. She squatted down and looked in her underwear and it was just blood. (We got the talk pretty early because we were in swim class at the time and just in case it happened randomly we knew what was going on). She SHOVED toilet paper in her undies and just prayed it wouldn’t leak anymore. Despite this she was relatively calm. (as I said, we got the talk early). Her mom didn’t find out until a couple days later.
My experience was a whole lot different. A whole lot nastier too😭😭😭
I got my period in January this year… Or so I thought. Before I got my “first period” I would always find this stuff in my undies. It was all brown and sticky and just weird and gross. I didn’t know what to do about it so I just hid it from my family. when I got my ACTUAL first period was in like September last year😀. With my first experience on handling my period properly, I had really bad cramps headaches and nausea. I got really sick and even had to stay home from school for like a week. This went on for every single period every single month until March.
It’s kind of just like clockwork now and I haven’t had any school incidents (*knock on wood*) but yeah😀 those are some period horror stories for you. I LOVE YOUR VIDS😁😁😁

I have 2!!!! I was in middle school (7th grade I’m pretty sure, first day of second semester) and I remember feeling very light cramps. My mom never told me how cramps felt, or that I’d probably be starting my period soon. I went to the clinic during transition and I called my mom at work. I got McDonald’s and I went home early that day 😂
My other one is that I went to a celebration that the school had if you made your AR goal. I knew I was on my period that same year. But I didn’t realize that there was a difference between panty liners and pads. I leaked and nobody told me. My ex boyfriend saw me. I rode the bus home and walked home with a huge blood stain. 😩😭
