I couldn't even register my DJI Mavic Air. Instead of doing something like this, I just bout a whole new one. I got the DJI Mini 3 Pro. Yea, but it is not cheap. But you can't beat the price. This is a good alternative. Funny thing, the next time I see you, you'll have the upgraded drone. You are right, you have to register with that added weight. Can't wait to see your cool footage. Nice neighborhood.
Oh, I definitely WANTED to get the mini 4! Just couldn't justify it under given circumstances. If this dumb UA-cam thing would take off better, I would use the proceeds for such upgrades!!! 😁 I already got some footage I'll use in our daddy daughter camping trip video in a few weeks!!
2 grams? That is one heck of a light drone. So any drone that is NOT registered AND is under 250 g (all weight included) AND is only flone recreationally does NOT need to be remote ID compliant.
@t.g.remixed Haha, oops!! Ya, just remember that the 250 is the drone + any prop guards, lights, or any accessories you may add to the drone. Then, if you just fly recreationally, you don't need a remote ID.
That's a good question. To my knowledge anyone can get the app that can track the signal. So if a drone hating Karyn (or Kevin) so desires, they can track you and report it. I doubt police have the resources to follow up on complaints but... I just like being on the safe side due to being monetized and posting content.
@@DMSAdventures yep ive had cops come to me at the park flying everything from helis planes jets nobody cares most people love it including the police lol problem we have in the hobby is people that do stupid stuff like flying drones ove airports or even flying a heli around people if im flying and a bunch of kids come around or to many people i pack up
@timmytfpv7316 Agreed. I've never had anyone even care one way or the other that I'm flying. Although my interactions with vlogging in public have been mostly negative... so I'm just assuming I'll be approached negatively while flying eventually. 🙄

I love my mini 2.... just wish they had built the remote ID into it!! Hey, thanks for watching!! 🤜 🤛
Also love the name!!!!
Ya the name is cool! 😎
I should comply... but I probably won't. Lol
Ya... im a rule follower... its pretty annoying most of the time.
Not in Europe thanks be to god.
Does that include drones under 250 grams? You still have to have the ID?

@@DMSAdventures OK, thanks for the info👍👍👍
how do they police this? seems a lot of work for the law.

Buy build fly never comply rid is a complete waist of time guys all about money not safety
True enough I'm sure. So should we just fly without rid cause there is zero risk of actually getting in trouble?
