@@ShadyHero Alright, sorry for the delayed response here. I kept finding WIP versions of the run and having desync issues. Turns out that the emulator version is important. I made the run on VBA 23.2 (so I recommend using that to play it back), and VBA 24 is already different enough to desync on the title screen. Here's a hopefully working link for the .vbm: www.mediafire.com/file/sx55a88mzudwow1/MZM_15%2525_TAS.vbm/file The rom I used is named "1452 - Metroid - Zero Mission (E) (M5).gba", which I suspect is the generic PAL version. I'm not sure why I used that rom, but it might be because I wanted 9% hard to be an option (and then chose to do something else instead).
Hmm, I actually forget what causes the statue to be sitting here. You may have to deal with it either standing or sitting depending on the category. From a glance at my other videos, it seems to be sitting in Kraid first routes and standing otherwise. Just looked at someone else's longplay of the game, and that statue directs you to the room behind Kraid, where you get the speed booster. I guess it's probably sitting because I already had speed booster, hence its advice would no longer be "helpful". This is the first time since probably my first or second play through that I've given any thought to the Chozo guides.
