Hey guys Pilot here!!! We finally got the PMDG 737-700/800 on XBOX!!!!
Many said it would never come but it has now finally arrived and its amazing! Lets go through the plane and check it all out and make sure the PMDG 737 is working fine on XBOX but I have a feeling its gonna blow our minds! Click the video to see how it works!!

This is truly phenomenal! The audio is my favorite part cuz they got all the sounds from a real 737! PMDG is huge partners with Boeing, so you know right off the bat their product is going to be realistic as hell! They had the same quality on PC level of everything. I am so excited it’s finally here on console! I have the 737-600, and the 737-900! I will hopefully get the 737-800 soon for either console or pc
@@Pilot0083 absolutely! Fenix is the most realistic aircraft in MSFS then PMDG 737s are second, and the third is the BAE 146 Professional, fourth FBW A320NEO and fifth is Salty 747 I’d say but the first 3 are definitely according to other sources

@@jonathanmathioudakis2910 they’re both highly realistic, Fenix is more detailed by a little hair! The PMDG is spot on when it comes to giving u the most realistic Boeing aircraft

Hi, Is PMDG 737-800 smooth on XBOX Series X?
Is it 30 FPS?
I never thought in a million years that technology could progress this far. I’m truly so exited for flight simulator now and in the future

It's incredible. This and the 146 dropping in the same week has been amazing! Loving this.
Some tips Pilot 83:
Tip #1: For the start up states, you can set your start up state, then load a startup instead of having to restart your flight.
Tip #2: There are serveral systems that you can test in the cockpit (pilot air, fire warnings, GPWS, TCAS, etc.).
Tip #3: Simbrief plays enormous part when flying IFR with this plane.
Ever since I built my high-end gaming PC, I've been logging alot of hours in the 737 since it first released on the in-sim marketplace (I bought the others from PMDG soon after). A very high quality product, up there with the likes of the Fenix A320, and the FBW A32NX.
I got both the 737-800 and the BAE 146 😊 im sooooo happy these beauty's finally are available for Xbox

I started simming on Xbox and eventually transitioned to PC because of the better support PC had for aircraft and all. Seeing this today on Xbox makes me happy for Xbox users. I used to be part of the Xbox MSFS camp. Big win for you guys. This plane is a must buy. I'm surprised it looks exactly like the PC version. Did not see any features missing. Only thing on Xbox now is you don't have apps like FS Realistic to enhance the experience. But big ups to Xbox!
Would you recommend any other add ons for Xbox users trying to enhance our experience?
It’s truly amazing that MSFS 2020 for Xbox console? What? So far we’ve had some great add-ons (some not so good either). PMDG for console? Incredible to say the least. Thanks for posting and producing videos for us Xbox console pilots and keeping us up to date!
When I started my flight attendant career this was the plane I was mostly working on! I have always had a soft spot for the 737 to bad Delta retired them. I might have to get an xbox now and try this out looks super neat!

Bit late to the party, but great video - was considering purchasing this aircraft on Xbox, but as is often the case with Xbox, very hesitant to really know what we are getting as most of the experiences seem tailored towards PC. This was a great video. Thank you so much for this.

dang i wish Microsoft could make a free 737. i will always love Xplane11s Zibo for making such a good model for the people
I wish I could get it but 70 dollars is a lot for me because Im currently saving for my private pilots license and school.

When I would use my B738 Some reason it never lets me turn left or right it just goes straight forward :(
Hello Guys I was just wondering if there is a V1 and a Windshear audio bc I didn‘t hear a V1 at the take off. And I saw a Video on the 737-700 from pmdg where you can choose some failures is it also here on the 737-800?
Looking good, I saw you last night in the sim testing it.
If THIS highly detailed, highly accurate, highly popular plane can come to console, then why can’t we get others like this? Like a study level A320, or a 777 that doesn’t have “Captain Scam’s” fingerprints on it? Come on developers… us poor lowly consolers love MSFS just as much as PC’ers!!!!!!!!!!
Waited for months and spent the 70 ASAP this morning. Hate to say people like me that use controllers flawlessly. There’s so many toggles and visor slides and other buttons that don’t work properly. I don’t know how it came through like that but there’s a strange but annoying fix where you have to plug a mouse into your Xbox Consol for those switches to work.

Hi Pilot and thanks for the video and the past videos. I have the same setup, i.e. Xbox and deluxe msfs. And am happy to watch your videos which are helpful a lot for me and many others. I have one question: how do you move so quickly in the cockpit? Tried the freedom feature but even at 100% speed it is still definitely slower a lot compared to you.

@@Pilot0083 it maybe it! I have tried a small keyboard with a track ball on it but still it is kinda small. The mouse looks to be the best solution
after testing out the plane I kind of understand the $70 a little more. its a fully functional high fidelity aircraft that comes with 3 Variations as well as its own ground service vehicles and maintenance vehicles even its own custom pushback system....its more than just an aircraft that you are paying for...def worth it only thing i wish is that we didn't have to pay for liveries.
Still pmdg is not what it used to be, actually i could say its overpriced, until now there is no EFB and other missing things, fenix sim with a320 ceo did a better job in every way.

A couple of issues I found, there's texture flickering on the EFIS panels and a display frame issue that appears when highlighting the PFD, ND and ECAM digital screen displays. The texture flickering is currently being looked into by PMDG, but as for the display frame issue, they said they are unable to adjust it. PMDG has apparently reached out to ASOBO regarding this issue before, but ASOBO never replied back which sucks because the frame obstructs the view of the information that's displayed on the PFD, ND and ECAM digital screen displays. Best thing to do is to report it directly to ASOBO and make enough noise for them to listen to feedback.
Is the display frame issue the bright outline that appears around the screen?
@@IceViper777 Yup, according to the developers it happens only when you are using a controller. So if you're using keyboard and mouse you won't see the issue, but it's still there and it's annoying.
@@Pilot0083 That's correct, the PMDG developers told me they contacted ASOBO since SU 9 or 10 and have no feedback over it. As for the texture flickering issue, everyone seems to be experiencing this issue. I also have to reach out to Just Flight regarding bugged textures on the 146-100's fuselage. It's a shame that we are spending more time reporting issues to the developers instead of enjoying and playing the game.
@@Pilot0083 another issue I’m concerned with is outdated nav data. With no way to update it, what are you gonna do when you build a flight plan in simbrief and type it into the FMS and it tells you it’s outdated? People with paid Navigraph are encountering that because the SIDs or STARs aren’t current. I guess the plane can’t figure out what to do with it
@@IceViper777 That's another serious issue, best thing you can do is open a ticket with PMDG support and let them know.

The series X is as powerful as most pcs in the 1500-2000$ range I don’t know why people doubt it, I have both a 3070ti Ryzen 9 5900x pc and series X and the series X runs just as fast and smooth

It’s amazing, even down to the wheels banging on the runway, but one issue. It says in the FMC my NAV data is out of date, so I can’t find current SIDs, which is odd because I do have a subscription.
Also Xbox got the BAE 146. You guys just had Xmas early.
Are you using a mouse on Xbox ? If so that’s a great idea looks so much better than the curser from the sim

I can’t connect both keyboard and mouse to MSFS with my controller attached
bought both 800 and 700 instantly. Surprised they finally kept their promises
Don't worrie about the 700 pretty much the same as the 800 just does not go as far if you want a more regional wait till they release the 600 for 35.00 usd. Don't forget to play with the plane set up you can select different plane packages and setups it has alot with them is why they cost so much
And the 900 is I think around 50 something if I remeber right

1st fs2020 needs to fix up the 737 cuz it’s like to fly able. The 767-300/400 was like $20 and it’s flies soo much better than the 737-800/700/max
2. I wanna see the 757-300/200 get released
3. I wanna see the CRJ-700/500/900
4. I want to get rid of the Defult aircraft on Xbox and have the real world aircraft roaming the world

When i use my xbox controller and click on the “STD” button, it just continuously spams it, even when i completely look away from the button or not touching my controller. It only stops when i go to an external view. Anyone know any fix for this? Is it the way my controller buttons are binded or is it just an issue with the aircraft on xbox? Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me
@@Pilot0083 thanks, i figured thats what it was. I had a spare mouse so i used that and thankfully it solved the issue, however it would be great if they fixed that issue on controller

Turtle beach is what I personally use . But thrust master is okay for what it is , honey comb is the best but the most expensive

I’ve been having trouble with this new update I’m still new to simming on Xbox I would make a flight plan on the main menu go into load into the plane start turning on everything but the TCAS thing doesn’t show my flight plan or when I’m in the air it doesn’t follow it I don’t know if this is a bug or part of the update it’s only on the Boeing planes

Are you talking about moving into the cabin? You can in the passenger version for sure, not sure about cargo variants. The difference between the 700 and 800 is effectively just that the 800 is longer. The 800 is the most commonly flown variant currently as well.

Does the assisted checklist in msfs work with these addon planes?
I’m having trouble with the in game atc with the 737. When I put my flight plan into the fmc the in game atc normally says “Request IFR clearance for instruments” when I use the fbw a320nx but when I get into the game, the atc instantly goes into the take off channel and I can’t change the frequency manually. Anyone know how to fix this? P.s. My flp data doesn’t get integrated into the vfr map nor atc. Also when i adjust trim wheel it seems to not want to go up past 4.2.
I like the 'Request IFR clearance for instruments' feature too.. But it won't be available for this plane because it is built using WASM which doesn't integrate well with many MSFS internal features (especially the map and ATC) at the moment. The forthcoming updates for the Boeing 747 and 787 will have the IFR integration. I'm hopeful that WASM planes will eventually be able to link to ATC properly but I suspect it'll take a while.

Does the 737-800 come with split SCIMITARS, and if it does, do all liveries adapt to have them?
Does anybody know how to actually use the flight plan? I can never use the autopilot and I imagine it's because the flight plan doesn't load

@@Pilot0083 trim wheel on the turtle beach flight stick doesn’t work. Can you confirm?
@@Wilber913 Use the bottom hat switch on the left side of the control yoke. This is how the actual aircraft does it. They dont psycially touch the trim wheel. Push up on the hat switch to nose down, push down for nose up. Work great this way.
@@Pilot0083 So you only have that bind for each lever? I will kick my own butt if that is all it took, I was trying that with other binds as well like increase thrust and cut out on the same levers, That is how it is done on some other equipment. @@Wilber913 Yes it is on the yoke. Do you have an extra hat switch on the stick which you can assign? On the actual aircraft it is a rocker switch on the left side of the yoke. That is why it won't work with the trim wheel. It needs a rocker switch type of input. You could also use a keyboard up and down arrow, just a suggestion.
Does anyone know why when i use the controller to start up this aircraft the throttle become asymmetric
Is it better to have a mouse for this? My controller doesnt seem to work properly I'll hover over something i need to oress amd when I hit thr A button it just highlests it yellow. Its actually unplayable as i cant even start my planes battery
Yes you need a mouse for this plane buddy
With controller you have to double click and use the trigger to use switches. The problem i have when starting this aircraft is the throttle don't move in sync and idk how to fix that

I really want to get this for Xbox but I really wish that the Xbox version came with a copilot I want one of those interactive co-pilots I used to use FS to crew on FSX I don't have a PC so I'm stuck with the console version does anybody know if they were released a co-pilot for the console?
