In Thor 2 stone of reality was presented, also we see death of Frigga. And Loki, broken in grief. All of this scenes are incredibly powerful, and important to Thor and Loki growing up, as characters
Thor Ragnajoke wasn't amazing. Matter of fact, it was abysmal. And where did it balance the so-called humor? The first few minutes into the movie, the movie already feels like a bad spoof. Thor talks to skeletons, the dude who's called The Executioner is playing with the shake weights thing, Loki watching the play of his death, which, mind you, happened after he and Thor went for revenge against the dudes who killed their mother. Waititi stans live off copium and see movies only through the Mandela Effect.

I actually liked the first Thor movie the best. The second one was okay but that Malekith as the main antagonist was pretty meh imo while Ragnarok was pretty entertaining overall with very impressive moments. 🙂 I'll have to reserve judgement for this "Love&Thunder" but I fear it will just be a bunch of woke crap not worth paying for. That's why I always sail the high seas for free previews and should the movie prove itself worthy it gets added to my bluray collection. If it's bad I will just keep sailing on to the next movie.

Even for a little time Taika Waititi succeed to show us how beautifuly thor can fly. Mcu also did that in infinity war that was beautiful too. But in endgame nothing was there for thor except friendly support, drunk idiot, being the reason for cap to get his op moment.. Hope to see more of Thor's flying and Actions with stormbreaker on love and thunder..
It's one of the top of the MCU so far. This and Capt. America: Winter Soldier are so well written, acted, directed, and edited it hurts. This film is comic book fun, CA:WS is pure spy noir.

Both had an 80s theme. Thor Ragnarok had a Heavy Metal (mag)/Kirby/80s fantasy feel, Wonderwoman1984 was just set in the 80s, with just better effects. Imagine a detail in your childhood (80s) that you've forgotten, like a dream of a space city, or the title page of a space cartoon.... that tiny, barely-there nostalgia is what pulls on you and it brings you back to when you were alone with your comic book on a quiet saturday morning. Wonderwoman was just an overload of blunt 80s that it numbs you, nevermind the 80-ish plot.
