Hey Nik, what string gauges did you use for this, I'm currently learning from this video on my 7 too but my strings don't hold the tension as well as yours seem to, since its Drop E and would usually be played on an 8 string. Cheers bro
Luke Bricklebank I have Ernie ball 13-72 gauge strings on my baritone guitar. A little heavier would be ideal but 13-72 works fine
The Loathe guys use 6 -string baritones with 30-inch scale lengths and string gauges 24-90.

Crazy you found your own way to play this in Drop E on a 7 because this band actually use their own tuning which is EAEADF# and it's on a six string. You learned this by ear in drop E on a 7. That's honestly crazy man

Loathes tuning is literally just drop E on a 7 minus the high B string, and then the second string tuned to A. Theres really no transposing required for this whatsoever
@@ilikeheavymuzic135That’s an odd way to look at it imo, it’s drop A with a low E on-top is how they’ve explained their tuning, also known as a double drop tuning.
Normal Drop E on a 7 is not how this song was written so I rest my case haha. He’s figured it out in a slightly different tuning which is wild.
@@dylonsky4347 it’s literally how Eric explains it and exactly what their tuning is, it’s not “odd” at all. Saying it’s drop A on the 5 strings with a low E is just another way of describing the exact same tuning I’m talking about. All I’m saying is that the notes would be almost exactly the same, you’re making it sound like he did some crazy transposing work for an entirely different tuning
