The fight start writes itself. One of the Gokus (probably Super) sees the other Goku and is like "Another Goku? You must be strong. Wanna fight?" With the other person also being Goku, they accept and the fight begins.

I actually think the fight would start with them already fighting in base and them complimenting each other for a brief second before continuing like in Weiss VS Mitsuru

This song is like one big tribute to Dragon Ball as a whole, not just GT and Super.
I think what i like most about this theme, is that it embodies Goku's character as a whole: fun loving, yet powerful and can be serious when need be.
Its not over the top, its not soft and quiet, its what it needs to be, Goku's greatest challenge, the same one he's been doing all his life: Besting himself

Interesting match up. Goku is certainly more powerful but you could also argue that Goku is more trained with his power. Goku is also a bit smarter than Goku and won’t hesitate to kill unlike Goku who keeps letting down his guard. Also while Goku’s transformations are more powerful, Goku’s transformations don’t drain as much ki as Goku’s does so he could outlast Goku. But then there’s Goku’s Ultra Instinct that Goku has never gone up against. But again, Goku might last longer than Goku if he gets Goku to drain his ki faster.

The logic of GT Goku and everyone else is they never stopped training. Except Goten, but even then he starts getting back into the flow later on. Trunks possibly due to Capsole Corp, but he does pull his weight in Space.
GT Goku can body any of the Buu's while in a nerfed base form... aka Child Form. He literally toyed with the entirety of the Machine Mutant Planet including Rilldo (who was stronger than Buu). Hell, even though he went Super Saiyan it was obvious he didn't need to.
Then Baby the Tuffle Parasite infected Earth with exception of Mr. Satan, Buu, Uub, and Pan. Adding Earth's accumulated power level (as well as the power of anyone who got in his way while traveling to Earth) to the power level of the original Baby Parasite. So, stupidly insane even without multipliers.
By the time Goku became SS4 for the 1st time he had surpassed universe busting levels by 2 to 4 times (thats me lowballing it).
By time Omega was a thing he was stupidly stronger and then there's no telling how strong he got after the time skip to Goku Jr at the World Martial Arts Tournament.
God ki may be a strong plot device, but you can argue no one in GT really needs it because they're stupidly strong. Especially Goku.
I know that most of these commissions are usually meant to sound neutral to the combatants, but this is one of the few ones that sounded like a Legit Death Battle, the ending of the Track definitely made it sound like Super Goku took the win. I would love to see this as an actual Death Battle in the future. A way that DB Fans can argue all they want without clashing with other fandoms.

The Ultra Instinct Theme and Dragon Soul/Dan Dan play in tandem towards the second half.
You can even theorize that the low heavy guitar in the background is inspired by Rock the Dragon’s chorus riff.
All that said, 0:54-1:16 I can’t tell the origins of. It isn’t the Buu Saga opening nor OG Dragon Ball either, as far as I’m aware. (Edit: It’s Chouzetsu, DBS’ first theme, thanks Yoo-nity)

I have no idea how many times I have heard this track, I love it.
Gt goku's intellect and the fact that every master of his was drilling the moving without thinking into him since og dragonball. This may actually end up as a battle between ultra instincts.
Primal UI vs Dragon infused UI. Goku has more experience with the technique but given Goku’s greater experience overall he definitely has a shot.
So I'm fairly confident in saying that super goku wins. IIRC, at the end of GT, omega shenron's presence was destroying the dragon ball universe. Extremely impressive, and nothing to scoff at. However, at the *beginning* of super goku's clash with beerus was shaking the universe, and I believe going to destroy it. Given the fact that super goku only got stronger from there, I see no reason he shouldn't win. Correct me if I'm talking nonsense, I haven't watched either in a bit.
Edit- I will say that GT goku does take the experience edge, due to GT being further along in the timeline than super, but this does NOT mean GT goku is immediately stronger, as super did not happen in GT.
Keep in mind that even Zeno still has to perform an action to destroy reality. Omega being able to get the same results as a passive effect does give him a leg up on the Omni King in _one_ regard. Not to mention Omega had all the hax abilities of the other Shadow Dragons on top of his 'verse breaking power. _Base_ GT Goku could unintentionally shake the entire afterlife (which is significantly bigger than the universe Goku inhabits) just by charging up. GT Goku could also tank Omega's blasts while charging that Spirit Bomb. People really do downplay just how powerful some GT characters are.

I don’t think you understand…. Super’s Goku shook Universe 7 which includes the Afterlife, Hell and everything including the Universe. Back when GT was a thing there were only 4 Galaxies meanwhile in Super there’s Millions of Galaxies. Super’s universe is superior to GT’s universe.
Reminder that currently, Goku in base form would soon be as powerful as he was in God form when first fighting Beerus.

Unrelated to the actual Mu but I have a story that involves dragon ball.
Back in mid to late 2018 I wasn’t doing the best mentally I was struggling in classes a lot and at one point considering killing myself before I went to 9th grade
Then I went to see the dragon ball super Broly movieon a Saturday night And was absolutely blown away with how amazing it was
Everything was perfect to me The characters were likable and funny to me. The fight scenes were the best I’ve seen in DB, And it even had me crying in some scenes.
I walked out the movie full of happiness probably the most Happy I’ve been with anything since then.
So after that I started slowly improving my grades and while I did struggle especially with my civics teacher (who hated me for some reason at the time) I eventually passed and moved on to the next grade.
Again unrelated to the track itself but wanted to share how dragon ball had an impact on my life

Goku obviously wins this. But Goku does put up a good fight even if this isn't enough to reach Goku's power. I guess there are some arguments to be made that Goku wins tho.
More seriously, I knew that there would be a track with that title that would come but I didn't expect it to be this for sure. This is also now the second time we get a track for the same character against itself with Resurgent Titans being the first (so I guess in a way it did beat Goku, eh).
As for the track itself, it's pretty solid. Not really what I what I would have expected from a track like that but still a really nice one nonetheless. I like how this track takes the personality that Goku has, being a really happy and generally wholesome person and uses that for the track, having a pretty "happy" atmosphere for most of the track until it starts getting more serious as the fight would progress.
Which is something that I'll note that the track has some really good progression. Like I said it starts being pretty light and happy in its atmosphere but slowly becomes more serious until we get to the first segment where the Ultra Instinct theme is played (2:09-2:31) where things get really serious (I'll also note that GOSH I love that inclusion of the theme. I don't actually really like the base UI theme but here it's included in a great and extremely original way) and then we get the final at 2:52-3:36 where we get something that I could only describe as being "majestic" in how it sounds. It takes a grand scale with all the percussions and the chanting but still keeps a pretty "light" tone that makes you remember that those two aren't fighting out of malice and this is probably the best fight they've gotten in their entire lives.
This ending and the track itself honestly reminds me of the track used in the first Superman VS Goku which has that same "grand" scale but still a very light and cheerful atmosphere because both characters are almost textbook definitions of "the good guy" and I think that's really nice given how this track is supposed to be the epitome of the whole "Can he beat Goku ?!" meme which was arguably popularized partly due to Superman VS Goku. I say that's a wonderful and fitting "ending" to this whole debacle with a wonderful track too. Top tier work with this track.

DBH anime and manga pretty much favored Super Goku in this battle. Iirc, SSJ4 Goku couldn’t keep up with SSB in the manga.

I think this fight would go with them being very leveled (super goku potentially being more powerful if we dont include z non canon movies and gt goku having way more experience, but also being probably more powerful if we include the z non canon movies) but if super goku uses ultra instinct, gt goku would probably have to outlast it. If he does then he would be able to win. Death Battle actually doing this fight would be very interesting and welcome.

Realistically GT COULD very well beat Super. Think about it, Super is between Buu Saga and End of Z and GT is years ahead of it. The fact that GT is non-canon practically opens all possibilities making GT Goku much stronger than he was back then. So when Super reaches the End of Z where its stuck between and GT happens AGAIN then GT Goku would definitely take the W. In my opinion anyway.
We must take in count that the events that happended on both sagas are pretty different, also the GT feats pale in comparation to Super feats.
Have to disagree. While GT Goku did make some sizable jumps in power, being able to fight guys on Buu's level in base level, its nothing compare to Super Goku, who was able to hold his own a long time against Beerus, who's frankly above ANYONE in GT. The best you can give GT is universal, where as Super is well above that at a base level
