You don't understand the excitement of seeing this video. We have the same hair texture and you just helped make my decision to start with 2 strands. I can't wait until Saturday, September 3rd. Love, love, 😍
I have been scouring the internet for a hair type like mine and this was it! Thank you soo much for taking the time to create and upload this for us all! Much love!
As a person with 4b, fine hair. This video gives me hope that mine will thicken up. I know my hair is not the same as yours, but I feel much more encouraged to trust the process. Thanks for sharing your journey.
After 10 years I restart my loc journey about 2 months ago. All because I wanted the thickness I see some ppls hair. So I did the two strand twist method and I'm beyond happy with how my hair is now. 🥰🥰 can't wait to see where my hair will be at in 6 months
I had to restart my journey, I was 5 months and some days but the back of my hair’s density was as so low it couldn’t handle the weight☹️ I’m starting again today tho
Oh no, I hope the take-down process wasn't too bad! That's definitely a fear of mine... on the bright side, I feel like people's second attempt at locs usually turns out better haha. Best of luck on your new journey!
Thanks for sharing this. I had my 2nd retwist on Dec 13th. I am a senior citizen and so excited to have finally started this journey as my hair transitions to grey and loc'd. Your hair is beautiful!❤
That's awesome, welcome to the loc family!! My mom and I actually started our locs around the same time - our only regret is that we didn't start sooner! Enjoy the new journey!✨️
Thank you!! ✨️ Girl I just use rose water 😂 I was a lazy loose natural, and now I'm a lazy loc'd natural 😭 My loctitian puts some moose in my hair to retwist - I've been using Lion Locs when I do my own retwists
New Subbie here! ❤ Thanks for sharing this video because our hair texture looks very similar and I’m not quite 2 months in and going through the stage of what have I done? Is this going to look as beautiful as the other locs I see and envy? 😂 So many doubts and frustrations but seeing your progress “keeps hope alive”! 😂 My hair is so dry and stiff but I’m guessing that’s normal for some and it will eventually drop and become free flowing. Either way you are beautiful and so are your locs! Congrats and keep inspiring us newbies on this loc journey. 😊
Yeaaah the shrinkage can get crazy at first, but the length seems to go back and forth... before you know it, you'll start to see a big difference 😁 CONGRATS on your new journey!!
Hey there! I think it would mostly depend on the size & parting style you have (and whether it's similar to mine), but everyone's journey is different! Congrats on starting your journey

Yay! I'm glad that I helped! The two-strand twists worked out great - best of luck on your upcoming journey

Thank you for this title! As someone with fine, low density hair (type 3c-4c) this is very helpful.

The only thing making me sad is the shrinkage. I'm so scared of how short my hair will shrink! Big day is Friday tho😊

Beautiful locs ❤️ and so are you
Thank you so much!
Beautiful transformation! How many locs do you have?
Thank you!! I'm not quite sure - every time I try counting them, I lose count and give up haha. I'll try again eventually
Update: I finally counted them - I have 111!
Are you still locked? Can we have an update please?!
🔥🔥🔥
It seems that loc'd hair with length, stays the same length for the first year. They just thicken
Yup I'd say so!
Beautiful ❤️
Hey how are you? What size and method are your locs? My hair is similar to yours. Looks beautiful
Hey! I not sure what size these officially are, but they're definitely smaller than the "traditional" size. I do retwists every 6-8 weeks! 💫
I have 4c hair to🥰
I started mine with crochet locs. What are the chances that it can look this way too. I am just one month in.
Hey there! I think it would mostly depend on the size & parting style you have (and whether it's similar to mine), but everyone's journey is different! Congrats on starting your journey
❤
I have interlocs and I hate the way they look is it possible to get them taken out and restart with the two strain twist method
I've heard that it's possible to take those types of locs out, but it may take a long time!
Looking nice girl
How many locs do you have?
I was going through the comments to see if you already answered but I didn’t see the question.
I have 111 locs! 💕
New subbie ❤🙏🙏

You don’t have thin low density hair at all it’s thick
