This looks amazing, I wonder how many locs does she have? I'm not sure if it was mentioned in the video, i'm curious cause I started my loc journey about a month ago.
Thank you! Oh nice, one month in. No, her locs count was never mentioned in the video because I don’t know how many locs she has. However, I’ll do a video on that asap.
i just got to 6 months and i have a super important question. is it ok if my parts aren't clean? i do my retwists myself and have not had clean parts since like month 1 bc i don't have a mirror to clean them up sadly and i feel its hard to do it on my own head anyway. i am planning on interlocking my own hair in a few days
It’s pretty normal to not have clean parts when you’re maintaining your hair. Mine is the same, but they doesn’t bother me. You can always go to a loctician/or the hair salon for them to help you with your grids/parts. Yes, once you reach 6 months you can do the interlock anytime from there to seal the loose natural hair.
Wonderful video...some don't know how beautiful locs are❤❤😊
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊💖
So true, locs are everything!
Girl, you have those healing hands and a greenthumb in hair growth
Lol!!!! Thank you 🙏🏽
What product (creme) did you use in her starter locs? Her hair looks fabulous.
Thank you! I can’t remember the name of the product I used to start her loc. I believe it’s in the video. I’ll try to find out and let you know.

Did you interlock her hair for the first time at 6 months? Or did you interlock it before the 6 month mark?
Her hair has flourished. ❤
Hi. I did the interlock for the first time after 6 months. It was pretty much at the 7 month mark.
Thank you! 💕
When the locs start to bud should we leave it alone or try coiling the part that’s budding?
Hi 👋🏼
You only coil/twist the roots so focus on the roots. All remaining part beyond that will expand, fuse, and thicken on its own.
