Not sure why Fab keeps saying that you need a 12-month long-term rental agreement to qualify for long-term stay visa. All other experts I have spoken with or listened to say that this is not the case. A short-term rental is perfectly fine. E.g., a hotel or Airbnb etc. in one of your recent webinars a representative from Lexidy mentioned this as well.
French trust law regarding one's own home? 1. As a UK citizen putting the sole/main home in a Trust from inception with an EU partner (not legally married but together for over 33 years)? 2. As an EU citizen putting the sole/main home in a Trust from inception with a UK (non EU) partner not legally married but together for over 33 years? What are death duties on such Trust properties if any?
Very helpful as a starting point. I’ll certainly look into it more. Thank you
