I live in Hud Housing apartment complex in a small town, Benkelman Nebraska. Rent includes my utilities and is $279 a month. I have to pay internet separately which is currently $77.09. So I spend a lot of time looking for good deals on both Amazon and Dollar General. I get a lot of things EBT eligible from Amazon every month. So yes I'm always looking for a Bargin if I can't get a bargin I don't buy period! I don't drive or have a car. I have an Electric Tricycle.
Walmart should rent their space out and throw a giant yard sale in the community. How many vendors will fit under the WalMart roof? Then, there will be real bargains! Secondhand stuff. But real value for all consumers with limited resources.
BEST deals smmfh, I went to Walmart TODAY that Fing cashier charged me 5$ extra on a FEW items. Good thin I checked my receipt and saw it. I went to customer service and had them ring up eveything and yes that Fing cashier diidover charge me. I got a refund but that's not the Fing idea. The Fing idea is that I had to go through all this crap. So people if you go to Walmart remember was the price is and checkyour receipt to see if that was the charge. Walmart thinks we Americans are some kind a stoooooopid. No me OH HELL NO.

I have tried to buy ahead for our kids with clothes and shoes if and when I can. I have to admit I found shoes at Walmart that were for school and bought a couple of pairs because they were on sale. They had good reviews as well. Pretty happy about it! I am always looking for deals because kids grow so fast. I would rather spend more money on them when they are older and have stopped growing.
Look at frugal cooking videos. They can show you that five dollars can get you quite a bit of food. Just type frugal recipes or frugal food shopping or, five dollar food shopping. You’ll be surprised how much will pop up to help you!

My wife and I are putting back a decent amount of money, and our combined income is only around $45k with our two kids still living at home and three dogs and two cats to take care of. Some of it might be my incessant, stingy budgeting as well.
Walmart sucks..... they make you feel like a criminal by showing a reciept even though there are no signs anywhere.. i haven't bought anything since 2016.... and i laugh when people show a receipt even though you don't have to

Make sure if you go to fast food you aren't eating bugs. They are going to mix bugs in with their meat to make prices cheaper. I know McDonald's and Wendy's are doing it.

We live below our means, always. Yes, I look for value when shopping, and not afraid or embarrassed of buying used stuff from a secondhand store.

Weirdly, Family Dollar has very decent clothing, especially the summery stuff, for just a few dollars. You wouldn't think it, but there it is.
