good e bike for the price - just a heads-up that the rear wheel is very hard to remove the first time. You literally have to rock the wheel back and forth before it pops out on one side.
Just got this bike today and i climb a really big hill in no time, usually it takes me 10 minutes on my old bike on this one it took me 3 minutes, pedal assist its perfect for me as i still want to put some effort , this bike basically works with you and not for you bare that in mind 😉 its the first day so i wont rate this bike just yet, will come back in a few months and edit my comment. Ps : I purchased this bike as part of the cycle to work scheme so i got a massive discount!
I know the battery locks on to the cycle, but is it a good idea to remove the battery when parked up so it's less attractive to theives, would this cause damage to electrics if water gets on battery contacts
I’m from the US and they’re no regulations against having the bike at full speed. How would I derestrict it while being able to change it back when needed?
I had recently problem with the e st 100 while riding the bike all of sudden the chain fells off at the crank. When i put it back after two pedals the chain came off and could not pedal. It stopped the bike all of sudden it could not move. Thanks God that i wasn't going on downhill. When i took it to Decathlon the guy told me that the rear wheel motor got damaged.I forgot to ask him the question if this happens again especially going downhill what should I do?Or can you please tell me what should I do?
i own this bike for a year… had multiple decathlon bikes, all same story, price wise they are a bit cheaper bud i comes at cost of build quality, ive been at te repair shop so many times with est-100 i might aswel spend 500 $ more for a good brand e-bike
Hi Manuel, we unfortunately cannot unlock any more speed on these bikes in most countries due to the law. We'd stick rocket ships on the back if we were allowed to ;)
you can't use this cycle without battery its not because its weight. Feels like you are on 8th gear and not moving forward like normal cycle if someone feel some like mine give your comment or like
Iam not satisfied with this cycle. I bought this cycle 3 months before Without the battery you can't ride this cycle and there is no use to change the gear when the battery drain you can feel like riding on a mountain. I went to the decathlon shop for this reason 2 time no use. Please don't buy this cycle
I have it since 4 months and I love it 😌
We're glad you're loving it!
it's been 11 months now can you give an update
@@ismaild9949 still amazing

No lights but a light button on the display?
Do you sell spare batteries for those to carry in a backpack in case one wants to ride longer?

Hi Ryus, our ST500 & ST900 eBikes in the range are the more technical options if you're looking for more

Can u do wheelies on it
I can on mine but a bit sketchy
Bike is really heavy when riding when the battery runs out keep that in mind
Do you really think its worth $1000? While alternate can get under $600 which is also costly . launched dfoe 85k in India.
You get what you pay for, there are cheaper e-bikes out there, but they are not as well made
not available in India
VERY VERY HEAVY
Able to do wheelies on it?
This is twice in 3 months it’s had to go back. Besides that I do love the bike. Don’t like it when it breaks down

garbage e bike, not buy , is not worth
Was thinking of buying one. Why do you think it's bad? Thanks
Take no notice really good cycle for the price, check out the reviews, they speak for themselves
Would much rather buy this than the Halfords ebikes, lots of awful reviews about their bikes!
Done 2000 miles on mine no problem .
3 years and still recommend buying
