@Weeb Tendency Lol. Theres a quest you can get from the guy that replaces Ulfric if you side with the Imperials. There he says that if non Nords get attacked in his hold he doesn't even send anyone to investigate. Argonians aren't allowed inside Windhelm and Dark Elves are living in the slums. Ulfric even refuses to investigate the situation and doesn't step in when they are being harassed. He's a horrible ruler.
Really puts her in her place and shows Ulfric's position. Don't understand how people believe that Ulfric literally works for Elenwen (thalmor). Would a asset sue for peace, when the thalmor want war? Would an asset speak out against the thalmor and try to thwart them at every turn? Would an asset embarrass elenwen in front of everyone at an improtant meeting? No! They wouldn't!

Markarth is personal for Ulfric, as that was where he retook a city from the Forsworn and the Empire imprisoned him afterwards for restoring Talos worship in the city in order to prevent an outbreak of war with the Dominion. It is symbolic for Ulfric of the place where he finally was betrayed by the Empire as well as the beginning of the Stormcloak rebellion.
Savvy 21 true but it would take a lot longer for reinforcements from Cyrodill to arrive since they would have to either cross through Hammerfell (impossible since its independent unless they form a treaty which is also unlikely) or through water around Hanmerfell and High Rock.
Here I played Skyrim for two years and I have no recognition of this quest and a truce. I must have done all the civil war quests before I did that campaign
@Johnsen1972 @ESK_Flidox hahah I know right?! took me about 3-5 play-troughs before I found this way. lol was I absolutely stunned or what the first time I experienced this storyline xD
Christopher Plummer played Arngeir?! Damn I didn't know that, nor did I know he was dead. My first introduction to him was as Klingon General Chang from Star Trek VI. Rest in Peace.
I wish there was an option after completing the Dragonborn questline you can get another council together amd make them join forces and attack the Thalmor and drive them out of Skyrim and they name you the Hero and make you High King and then you help Hammerfell and after you have beaten the Alderi Dominion you become Emperor of a new Empire.
Alan Neal I know right, don't get me wrong, I would love to make my Dragonborn emperor of Tamriel, but I think the focus of Bethesda, in skyrim, was the return of the dragons, and not the Tamriel itself. I guess in the future they will make an entire game, or a DLC about the Aldmeri Dominion and the empire. Until then, we'll have to choose between the Empire and Ulfric, and for me, both of them are weak. If I slew Alduin himself, I should be the new Emperor, am I right? XD
>just finshed the skyrim turce between the impreals and the stormcloaks >JarlBalgruuf: Ill ready my men for the dragon capture when i get back to Whiterun! >gets to Dragons reach :me: Ballgruuf isnt in his chair? he might be ready already >Finds Balgruuf in his bed sleeping :Me: ffs Balgruuf.....
Shy Guy Well He did walk up 7000 steps to be at the council... And then walk down them again... And then probably walked all the way back to Whiterun after that. I can't blame the man for wanting to sleep through it all, lol
Roast Chicken 😂 Yeah, and with his kids he has to deal with too, I can’t imagine he wasn’t all too keen on anything BUT sleep after that long expedition!
Elenwen: A very pretty speech. But what does it have to do with- Ulfric: Shut up. Me:HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA Now then, if I remember this correctly, Elenwen's essential status is removed after this particular quest...
tullius: I remember you. you were at helgen come to join the war? Dragonborn: No that's not why I'm here tullius: we have nothing to talk about then go away Ulfric: I remember you come to join the war? Dragonborn: that's not why I'm here. Ulfric: I'm sorry to hear that so what can I do for you? and ppl call Ulfric difficult and war mongering
Tre Drago it makes more sense that ulfric beat the high king in a duel. Cause by Skyrim law the high king can’t refuse duel issued by a jarl. Why would Ulfric murder him when he had the right to challenge him. And on the grounds of using a shout to prevail there is no rule against it either. If anything stormcloak rights are being stepped on and the imperials are not respecting their rules and customs. That being said Ulfric is also taking advantage of the war to become king. Also by Skyrim law even if the high king loses a duel to a jarl the person he loses too doesn’t become king. It’s supposed to be put to a vote by the remaining jarls.
It's a really powerful game lol I just find it sad that the majority of the fights here aren't aimed at the right target... It's not a question of "Imperial or Stormcloak". It's a question of "Thalmor or Skyrim". Although I honestly can't blame them. The game is great, but does a terrible job at ending quests such as these. We never really got a chance of fighting the Thalmor and reclaiming Skyrim to it's rightful name, and with no new DLCs that I'm aware of, we probably never will...
the reason why people get bloodthirsty in these comments is because when people side with oppression, they stomp down on liberals and spread their influence like an ocean.
Some Random Guy That "clunky old game" is arguably one of the best action-rpgs ever made along it's predecessor, Daggerfall. One of the best if not the best written story in the entire franchise too, along the writing in Redguard. Oblivion is far more clunky and messy than Morrowind ever was.
Suane Why do you hate him so much? He was nothing but nice to the Dragonborn and without Balgruuf he might never have discovered his gift? You would declare war on and kill many of the people who helped you slay a dragon and were eternally grateful to you...isn't that called being a dishonourable traitor?
This may seem a bit petty but if you had fast traveled to High Hrothgar and then while traveling back down the mountain, constantly delay each character other than the Thalmore by conversing with them, the Thalmore will constantly be the first to encounter the trolls which can be a bit enjoyable to watch.
Here is what the options should be. 1. stormcloaks rule 2. imperials rule 3. skyrim stays how it is through a peace treaty 4. start a democracy 5. kill both factions and become the high king
Also i have joined the stormcloaks and given the axe to the jarl of whiterun. i havent given it back to the stormcloaks but is it to late to make a peace treaty?
be cool if you could establish some form of hate or distrust in the Imperials of the Thalmor so that the Imperials n Stormcloak take on the Aldmeri Dominion together
Holy shit, that was hella interesting. I expected this to be some machinima, not real, since i have never seen this in all my 600 hours of skyrim. cant believe what i missed
The imperial Legion didn't exactly give up. They had just recaptured the capitol of Cyrodill from the Thalmor. By that time, both armies were severely weakened, so they signed a short peace Treaty (White-Gold Concordant), giving them time to prepare for the next war. But sure.
Agreed! It is why I have such little regard for the Stormcloaks. They whinge and complain about the loss they suffered with the ban on Talos worship but really, the Empire only paid lip service to that and it was only when Ulfric and his lot started agitating that it turned nasty. Plus, Cyrodiil suffered horrendous damage from Thalmor atrocities (at least three cities sacked, Cloud Ruler Temple destroyed and hundreds of Imperial citizens slaughtered) yet the Stormcloaks act like they're the only injured party.
Imperials and Stormcloaks both have the same enemy, the difference between them is the Stormcloaks seem not to understand the wider picture. Tulius comes across as far more shrewd and willing to negotiate than Ulfric and as the respective heads of their allegiances one can only assume that Imperial rule is best for Skyrim. If they hope to supersede Thalmor bureaucracy, they needed to accept the White-Gold concordat. More than anything, Ulfric trying to walk away from negotiations twice as he did shows that he puts himself and his own wishes before the impending doom that faces all people of Skyrim indiscriminate of political affiliation. This entire fiasco made me resent Ulfric, a charismatic leader but not a good one.
While I won’t deny that this is a good point and Tullius is smarter than Ulfric, I will say in Ulfric’s defence that his clear rage and resentment towards his enemies in this scene shows his passion about the banning of Talos and the Nords who have died to either the Legion or the Thalmor. He would’ve been fine living with the Greybeards while the Legion ruled Skyrim but in his eyes the White-Gold Concordat was a completely unacceptable truce that forced his hand. He has a Good cause and I think he cares about his homeland and people but there is definitely some selfishness in there as well, he desperately wants to be High King.
@@lukefitton7329I'd definitely consider Ulfric Stormcloak to be an idiot. Or at the very least narrow-minded. His clear and often expressed desire to be High King aside, he clearly doesn't think things through. Even if he was angry about the White-Gold Concordat, I wouldn't say that justifies his coup attempt. Especially because it's implied that he could have just asked High King Torig to declare independence. Torig was clearly a patriot of Skyrim, since he was elected High King at a Moot, he hated the White Gold Concordat probably almost as much as Ulfric did, and he actively looked up to Ulfric, so if he was asked he probably would have done it.
@@Gabriel-oq8gs Maybe he felt as if Toryg just wouldn’t have gone through with it. Or because Toryg was so young he may have been naive and used by the Empire in some way. I don’t know enough about Toryg to have a good answer for that. Ulfric did make some questionable decisions though.
The Dominion consider the worship of Talos a heresy and as a part of the White-Gold Concordat, they gained power to stamp out and persecute those who worship Talos. Their hatred of Talos is most likely rooted in the fact that the ascent of a man to godhood is in conflict with their notions of the supremacy of mer over man. Also, Talos is integral to the culture and religion of the Nords. He was a Nord himself, born Hjalti Early-Beard, a Dragonborn who was predicted by the Greybeards to defeat the elves and unite Tamriel under the rule of men. The Thalmor thus knew that if the Empire was forced to ban the worship of Talos, many Nords would turn on the Empire. This caused the Stormcloak Rebellion in 4E 201 which served as a distraction from the Thalmor plans to re-ignite the hostilities of the Great War.
The more I think about it, though... this would set the stage perfectly for the next elder scroll game for sure. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the start of the next game would be right at the beginning or middle of the next Thalmor War.
7:15 No, the Greybeards called The Dragonborn. The Greybeards sent The Dragonborn on the quest to get the horn. We would not have gotten involved with you if you had not stolen the Horn.
Exactly. Recall when Delphine asks you if Tiber Septim would have founded the Empire had he listened to the Greybeards, trying to turn you against them, when in fact she's wrong; Tiber Septim was only made aware of his destiny when the Greybeards summoned him to tell him precisely that. The Greybeards guide and counsel you on the Way of the Voice, but will accept that you are your own person with your own will and free to make your own decisions whilst the Blades, despite claiming to serve the Dragonborn, basically order you around, let you do the heavy lifting (infiltrating the Thalmor Embassy, rescuing Esbern, accessing Sky Haven Temple) and then demand you slay the one dragon conclusively on your side, refuse to hear out any counterargument and turn their backs on you if you refuse.
Honestly Id say the dragonborn should become high king but he or she is too inept to rule people >_< The dragonborn would just fusrodah all the problems away lol
This sequence, as well as him convincing the Greybeards to let him and Delphine attend, actually made me quite like Esbern. Yes, he's insistent on killing all dragons, same as Delphine, but he seems more reasonable and less of a fanatic.
Between the two Esbern was always the more logical one as he doesn’t get his emotions to control him. He sees everything as it is good or bad, and honestly I’d rather have him still be around more than Delphine
On my main account (I'm a Khajiit named Aida, level 81), I was reckless and ran around murdering every living soul in the game. Then one day, I ran up to Ulfric and joined him and his army without even thinking. I regret joining the Stormcloaks... I missed the Imperials. So I created another account, this time I was an Argonian named Paruker, level 47 (I finished the game on level 13, by the way), and I joined the Imperials on that account. I felt right at home with them; being an acolyte of the Imperials felt right to me.
It's like buying a game for cheaper off the black market (Stormcloaks), and buying it for original from a legit store like Walmart or GameStop (Imperial). Whichever feels better.
I actually agree with letting the Thalmor stay at the table. She is part of the power plays in Skyrim, she deserves to speak, even if the Thalmor are bastards. Also, she gets to wreck Ulfric with that line
I was half laughing at around 7:53. I was thinking how Dephine was constantly pushing the Greybeards' KILL YOU! button and half expecting the Greybeards and the pathetic excuse you call Blades to come into blows... well, I mean half expecting the Greybeards to shout the shit out of the Blades lmao.
I've played through both factions and I like them both for different reasons. Galmar is actually not that bad of a guy if you pay attention to what he says after you win. He says that he opposes tyranny and I believe his heart is in the right place even if he is a bit of a racist asshole. I really liked Rikke too though. She sees the big picture and knows that the Empire isn't the great evil Ulfric claims it to be. She's even a Talos worshipper which is proven after you kill Ulfric. cont.
I've joined both sides before... Imperials with my Redguard warrior and then Stormcloaks with my Redgaurd Assassin... I think I like the Stormcloaks more.... reason being is because the Imperials try to take your head in the beginning of the game... they don't care who you were or what side your on... you were at the wrong place at the wrong time. They don't want to hear what you have to say... lol... Seriously... who wants to join an army that tried to kill you? Not me!!!
Lol.. yes i blame that ONE officer... that goes a long way... If Genral Tullius was actually paying attention I just bet you he would've done the exact same thing. "What? He's not a Imperal? And he was caught in the cross fire? Then off with his head! I dont care if he was involved or not."
Erik Price The entirety of the empire is made up of all races. The legions recruit from all races. Gods know why Bethesda didn't represent that more beyond Imperials and Nords fighting the Stormcloaks. Hell, at least throw in a few Orc blacksmiths at their camps.
Correction "That small band of rebels" combined with forces of Hammerfall and Emperor Titus Mede the 2nds army defeated the dominon Stand togheter. Stand strong! Face the elven threat togheter! Skyrim, Hammerfall, High rock, Orsinium... Rise!
for what? because of being a supremist faction? because that's exactly what the thalmor does, and they also hunt down PURE BLOOD HUMANS just because of love and affection of a mighty god. WTF?!!!!!!!
But the Empire isn't supremacist, they were gathering forces to counter attack the Thalmor when they were not expecting it and finally get a retribution. In the Dark Brotherhood missions when you have to kill the enperor you realise that he also worhip Thalos and wants to take revenge on the Aldmeri Dominion. Besides the Thalmor themselves secretly send help to the Stormcloacks so It weakens the empire. And last when you finally win the war with the stormcloacks you clearly see an scene where Ulfric and his commander are planning to manipulate the elections by force.
Tyrion Lannister Don't forget that the empire was trying to manipulate the elections through force as well. They actually manipulated Balgruuf into accepting the legion's help, if you listen to the conversation between Tullius and the Legate that comes immediately before "Message To Whiterun"
They convinced him, they didn't manipulated him. Balguuf had to chose one side, he was wise enough to realise that Ulfric isn't better than the empire.
I had this fantasy in my head that my character took a ton of companions to the council and when they began he ordered them to put swords by Tullius, Ulfric's etc. throats to make them all shut the f*ck up and listen to me explain how the entire war is useless and all blame are to go to the thalmor, making the empire drive them out and with the help of the ultimate Dragonborn (my character) conquer the Dominion and bringing once again ever peace onto Tamriel.
If you kill Ulfric before the peace treaty, you don't need to do that long quest, whilst you can see Ulfric Stormcloak and Galmar Stone-fist in Sovngarde!
that "weak" empire is all that's preventing the thalmor from attacking again, if Ulfric had his way that barrier is gone and they will finish what they started
Aaron Page I'd think Highrock and Hammerfell has something to do with it too, they are in the way. And the Thalmor wont ever invade Skyrim because it's geographically not suited for it, least the Thalmor take Highrock or Hammerfell first. Which I'm sure will call for aid if they attempt it.
Herrera saurus and you don't think the empire didn't? the key to destroying a people is to cripple what makes it strong, you're literally talking about a people who already invaded. you just don't know it. look to the Jarls, they've been neutered by the peace treaty and therefore have been defeated
Aaron Page There's no invasion army of the Thalmor in Skyrim, if that's what you're talking about. The only Jarls neutered are the ones addicted to Imperial coin.
Herrera saurus you mean the ones who use currency? and since when does the enemy need to be obvious?the high king and the Jarls answer to the empire, Ulfric forgot that little wrinkle, without the empire's support he would never be high king
I want a DLC that creates an option where you convince Jarl Balgruuf to join with Ulfric i never liked having to betray the first person to be nice to you ( not counting hadvar or ralof ) to further the stormcloak quests.
I used to be for Ulfric until I realized just how racist and oppressive they are. I've never been for the empire. Can I just arrest them both, become high king, and kick the Thalmor out of Skyrim myself? That would be a way better story.
Crusader Crusader lol I mean, they outright say it. If you listen to the Nords, they are constantly harassing non-Nordic people. Especially the elves (high and dark). If put into power, they would mostly favor the Nords as they say several times. However, I still see them as the lesser of two evils and if I have to choose, I'd go with them.
>racist and oppressive So you live in your lovely little province with people just like you. You have established a well functioning and productive society that provides home to millions of nords. There are provinces all around you with each having different kinds of people, and everyone is happy. However, one day, people from these other places decide they want to live in your province. Sure, you figure, even though it's bitter and cold, and only nords have evolved to live in such a land. As long as they don't effect your lifestyle. But exactly that happens. Drug dealers and users, thieves, corrupt politicians, evil sorcerers, and the like come to build their own communities in Skyrim, all of which may as well just be sick jokes for how bad they're doing (except for the corrupt politicians of course, they figure out ways to get whatever they want through contacts). As time goes on, they start to get more and more demanding of your land and resources, which is sick and tiring, leading you to hate these newcome people. Why don't they just go back home, where they KNOW they'll be accepted, to live if they want so much? Also, these corrupt politicians are now starting to outlaw your own damned religion, and make you, the original inhabitants, a minority. The empire is trying their best to tell the thalmor (corrupt politicians) nicely to fuck off, while the uprising rebellion think the empire is trying to let the thalmor in willy nilly. Either way, it is a nord's full right to be angry at these people trying to take their land over. tl;dr The nords are right to be "racist and oppressive", stop using tumblr buzzwords.
"So you live in your lovely little province with people just like you. You have established a well functioning and productive society that provides home to millions of nords. There are provinces all around you with each having different kinds of people, and everyone is happy." Until Skyrim was conquered by Tiber Septim, the nords were constantly invading other lands: High Rock, Resdayn (Morrowind), Colovia/Cyrodiil etc. So Skyrim has never been some isolated, well functioning utopia that lives in peace with its neighbours. "As long as they don't effect your lifestyle. But exactly that happens. Drug dealers and users, thieves, corrupt politicians, evil sorcerers, and the like come to build their own communities in Skyrim, all of which may as well just be sick jokes for how bad they're doing (except for the corrupt politicians of course, they figure out ways to get whatever they want through contacts)." So are you telling me that such criminal elements didn't exist in Skyrim before these immigrants came in? The Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood are dominated by nords, most (if not all) of the corrupt politicians/businessmen you meet in the game are nords (on both sides of the Civil War) and most of the evil sorcery in the game can be found in ancient nordic ruins where Dragon Priests and Draugr linger. "As time goes on, they start to get more and more demanding of your land and resources, which is sick and tiring, leading you to hate these newcome people. Why don't they just go back home, where they KNOW they'll be accepted, to live if they want so much?" Many of them don't have a home: the dunmer in Windhelm were refugees who fled from the destruction of Morrowind. A couple of altmer that you meet disagree with the Thalmor and thus would probably be in grave danger if they entered the Dominion. Other 'foreign' races are either native to Skyrim (Orcs, Reachmen) or comprise individuals who are not native by ancestry but were born there so they should surely have some say in Skyrim's destiny and be given a fair share of resources for the work they put in to improving it. "Also, these corrupt politicians are now starting to outlaw your own damned religion, and make you, the original inhabitants, a minority." Ironically, Talos is part of the Imperial Pantheon and not part of indigenous nordic religion: he came to replace Shor/Lorkhan in nordic religion and the ban has been enforced across the Empire, so the nords are no more persecuted than any other race in the Empire. Talos came to Skyrim with the Empire and now the Empire have decided (out of necessity) to ban his worship (though seemingly many are said to worship him privately). "tl;dr The nords are right to be "racist and oppressive", stop using tumblr buzzwords." Lol no, those nords who are racist are a bunch of whining crybabies who blame their own failures on others. I respect those who aren't though: like Alvor who remains stoic in spite of Skyrim's problems as "Nords have never been fair weather friends".
all you have to do is to open (i did on Windows 7): 'Computer' 'Documents' My Games- Skyrim open 'Skyrim' (conf.setting icon) and just below ENGLISH copy this: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa Now you will hear Esbern's voice :) Hope it helps!
nope it was a bug from the version of skyrim I used (crack). Basically I updated the game to the last update and it corrected this bug. But thanks for the info anyway
I joined the Stormcloaks only because I'm still salty about the Empire trying to execute me for no reason. Not to mention Ulfric is daddy af I kinda feel bad though because Hadvar is a cutie.
Fort Hraggstad becomes garrisoned when you clear it out to join the Legion. Fort Greymoor becomes garrisoned when you complete Battle for Whiterun. Fort Neugrad becomes automaticly garrisoned when you clear it out. All the Stormcloak forts becomes garrisoned when you takes them or negotiates them into the Empre (giving markarth to the stormcloaks gives you the oppertunity to take Fort Sunguard). So the only fort that isn't garrisoned is the one of Morthal. I cant give morthal away in this quest.
"If we must negotiate the terms of the negotiation we'll never get anywhere" -a guy with logic
Sounds like brexit.

The Warlord J'zargo thanks you for your kind, and brave heart my friend.

The wisest though in all of Skyrim.
then politics will damn you
Guys Elenwen tortured Ulfric and I'm pretty sure she's responsible for his fathers death, I can't blame him if he's angry about her presence
aj lamotte well he does hate high elves for a reason, or another.
I agree.
Hoag Storncloak was killed by Madanach, the leader of the Forsworn, during the Forsworn Crisis in 4E 162.

I can't say I wouldn't like this idea of yours, but it's such a chiclé ending doe. Nothing personal, I myself like clichés, but some people don't
Yeh it is now I think about it but it would be a more heroic ending for your Dragonborn
XD
Beat the Thalmor? HA
You are The Dragonborn, so was Talos so if he can do it so could you
I honestly love legate Rikke's sass throughout the war council. Regardless of the player's choices.
>just finshed the skyrim turce between the impreals and the stormcloaks
>JarlBalgruuf: Ill ready my men for the dragon capture when i get back to Whiterun!
>gets to Dragons reach
:me: Ballgruuf isnt in his chair? he might be ready already
>Finds Balgruuf in his bed sleeping
:Me: ffs Balgruuf.....
Shy Guy Well He did walk up 7000 steps to be at the council... And then walk down them again... And then probably walked all the way back to Whiterun after that. I can't blame the man for wanting to sleep through it all, lol
Roast Chicken
😂
Yeah, and with his kids he has to deal with too, I can’t imagine he wasn’t all too keen on anything BUT sleep after that long expedition!
Im not a stormcloak but when Ulfric silence Elenwen is beutiful!

"A very pretty speech. But what--"
*"SHUT UP"*

"Thalmor bitch" was possibly the greatest thing ever said.
I was like Damn
Elenwen: A very pretty speech. But what does it have to do with-
Ulfric: Shut up.
Me:HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Now then, if I remember this correctly, Elenwen's essential status is removed after this particular quest...
tullius: I remember you. you were at helgen come to join the war?
Dragonborn: No that's not why I'm here
tullius: we have nothing to talk about then go away
Ulfric: I remember you come to join the war?
Dragonborn: that's not why I'm here.
Ulfric: I'm sorry to hear that so what can I do for you?
and ppl call Ulfric difficult and war mongering
That's how generals usually are. Hardened and dutiful by nature. If that's the reason you think Stormcloaks are better, boy...
FUCK THE FUCKING STORMCLOAK RACISTS
@@MayoAddict475 but the empire has no freedom of religion?
COOLMCDEN 2109 incorrect because if it were ulfric wouldn’t hate elves
Is anybody in this comment section from planet earth or just from the world of the elder scrolls? Lol the debates here are serious..
It's a really powerful game lol
I just find it sad that the majority of the fights here aren't aimed at the right target...
Bloody Belle Keeps us waiting until the next game. Its called a cliffhanger. I've heard that Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be about the next war.
HaloAndMinecraftFtw New game..? Elder Scrolls 6..?! Next War..?!?! *throws money* WHERE IT IS?! lol

God I love the story of this game. It's like watching a movie.
Thanks for the idea.
You and I both bro.
I see you don't play video games that much.
The story in Skyrim was laughable. Try Morrowind.
For me, screw the Thalmor AND screw Ulfric. Make Jarl Balgruuf the High King and lead the empire to victory!
Make Tullius the Commander of an expendition force to Summerset Isle.Land and burn the fckin Thalmor!
That milk drinker doesnt deserve to sit on the throne.
Jarl Balgruuf be BALLIN' BALLIN' BALLIN' Jarl BALLIN' BALLIN' BALLIN' (swag)
Suane Why do you hate him so much? He was nothing but nice to the Dragonborn and without Balgruuf he might never have discovered his gift? You would declare war on and kill many of the people who helped you slay a dragon and were eternally grateful to you...isn't that called being a dishonourable traitor?
Better if the Dovahkiin became the emperor after he kills Titus Mede II
This may seem a bit petty but if you had fast traveled to High Hrothgar and then while traveling back down the mountain, constantly delay each character other than the Thalmore by conversing with them, the Thalmore will constantly be the first to encounter the trolls which can be a bit enjoyable to watch.
While in the middle of this quest,
I used console commands to summon some ancient vampires.
The battle and their dialogs are very funny. Try it!
It's so weird hearing cussing in skyrim,it always catches me off guards
Here is what the options should be.
1. stormcloaks rule
2. imperials rule
3. skyrim stays how it is through a peace treaty
4. start a democracy
5. kill both factions and become the high king
Also i have joined the stormcloaks and given the axe to the jarl of whiterun. i havent given it back to the stormcloaks but is it to late to make a peace treaty?

6. Submit all of Tamrial to the rule of the Aldmeri Dominion. LONG LIVE THE THALMOR!
16:04 I'm pretty sure General Tullius was thinking the same thing.
16:01 the Stormcloak master of The Thu’um, as you can see. Didn’t even need to raise his voice.
i actually stopped the vid halfway to avoid spoiling it for myself. I didn't even know you could negotiate a treaty.
Aa
be cool if you could establish some form of hate or distrust in the Imperials of the Thalmor so that the Imperials n Stormcloak take on the Aldmeri Dominion together
There's already hate and distrust between them. The Imperials and the Thalmor are enemies with a peace treaty, not allies.
Holy shit, that was hella interesting. I expected this to be some machinima, not real, since i have never seen this in all my 600 hours of skyrim.
cant believe what i missed

"Dont hand me a mug of sheep's piss and call it mead" - Ulfric

This was literally just everyone roasting each other lmao
@@samalvey8168 are you former UFC fighter sam alvey
@@Evolfurnace No. He's probably a relative, though, and this is not the first time I've been asked this question.
@@Gabriel-oq8gsit’s tough to say considering how flat the empire has become.
THANK YOU! Someone else gets it too! It's not "Stormcloaks or Imperials" or "BattleBorns or GreyMains"
It's "Thalmor or Skyrim!"
The more I think about it, though... this would set the stage perfectly for the next elder scroll game for sure. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the start of the next game would be right at the beginning or middle of the next Thalmor War.
+Bloody Belle The Summerset Isles would be the next logical setting for Elder Scrolls VI. I hope they don't pick Black Marsh.

No, the Greybeards called The Dragonborn.
"I'm only here to talk about the dragon threat. So uh- I demand you give me a city for the war effort." - Ulfric the dipshit.

Ulfric is such a baby, this mission gets me nice and fired up to fight the Stormcloaks
Wait, how did you beat the game at level 13? You have to be level 15 to get the lexicon back from Septimus.
Ew, an old comment.

She's even a Talos worshipper which is proven after you kill Ulfric. cont.

I loved the empire in oblivion
But in skyrim its fallen and weak a shadow of its former self.
Not me!!!
1 officer made that decision ONE yet you blame the entire faction
Lol.. yes i blame that ONE officer... that goes a long way...
My thoughts exactly, I might hate Ulfric, but at least he isn't trying to execute me.

screw the imperials and the stormcloaks, the dark brother hood will rule skyrim with their dragon born leader
After seeing this I regret helping the Stormcloacks
for what? because of being a supremist faction? because that's exactly what the thalmor does, and they also hunt down PURE BLOOD HUMANS just because of love and affection of a mighty god.
Tyrion Lannister Tullius told Rikke to embellish the reports, which means to add in extra details that usually aren't true.
"Don't hand me a mug of sheep's piss and call it mead..." Hahaha!
17:47 I didn't receive that in my peace treaty
I always side with the Stormcloaks during this. At least they call out foul play having a Thalmor present. Unlike the weak empire.
that "weak" empire is all that's preventing the thalmor from attacking again, if Ulfric had his way that barrier is gone and they will finish what they started
Aaron Page
I'd think Highrock and Hammerfell has something to do with it too, they are in the way.
What mod are you using for the female faces
700+ hours into Skyrim and I did not know this could be done. Time to start another play through just for this quest.
I like how you shake all their hands before beginning the negotiations. I play a similar way.
Daggerman2009 THEY ARE NOT RACIST!!!!! STOP LISTENING TO THE STUPID LOYALISTS
I remember Ralof saying that there are some things he doesn't agree with about Ulfric, but he has the right idea over all.
>racist and oppressive
So you live in your lovely little province with people just like you.
There are provinces all around you with each having different kinds of people, and everyone is happy."
Until Skyrim was conquered by Tiber Septim, the nords were constantly invading other lands: High Rock, Resdayn (Morrowind), Colovia/Cyrodiil etc. So Skyrim has never been some isolated, well functioning utopia that lives in peace with its neighbours.
"As long as they don't effect your lifestyle. But exactly that happens. Drug dealers and users, thieves, corrupt politicians, evil sorcerers, and the like come to build their own communities in Skyrim, all of which may as well just be sick jokes for how bad they're doing (except for the corrupt politicians of course, they figure out ways to get whatever they want through contacts)."
So are you telling me that such criminal elements didn't exist in Skyrim before these immigrants came in? The Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood are dominated by nords, most (if not all) of the corrupt politicians/businessmen you meet in the game are nords (on both sides of the Civil War) and most of the evil sorcery in the game can be found in ancient nordic ruins where Dragon Priests and Draugr linger.
"As time goes on, they start to get more and more demanding of your land and resources, which is sick and tiring, leading you to hate these newcome people. Why don't they just go back home, where they KNOW they'll be accepted, to live if they want so much?"
Many of them don't have a home: the dunmer in Windhelm were refugees who fled from the destruction of Morrowind.
"Also, these corrupt politicians are now starting to outlaw your own damned religion, and make you, the original inhabitants, a minority."
Ironically, Talos is part of the Imperial Pantheon and not part of indigenous nordic religion: he came to replace Shor/Lorkhan in nordic religion and the ban has been enforced across the Empire, so the nords are no more persecuted than any other race in the Empire. Talos came to Skyrim with the Empire and now the Empire have decided (out of necessity) to ban his worship (though seemingly many are said to worship him privately).
"tl;dr The nords are right to be "racist and oppressive", stop using tumblr buzzwords."
Lol no, those nords who are racist are a bunch of whining crybabies who blame their own failures on others. I respect those who aren't though: like Alvor who remains stoic in spite of Skyrim's problems as "Nords have never been fair weather friends".
