There's an exhibition on at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona right now about his relationship with food! So excited to watch this video because I LOVED the exhibition so much I went twice. :)
Gah, I really wanted to see that show! It looked marvelous (from afar). There were so many options for what to cover in Picasso's food-related life. It was difficult to pick what to focus on for this!
i know Im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
I love how polished, edited, and well written this series is! I also appreciate the tone- I can learn what I need to know without being made to feel unsophisticated
Be careful saying that "you like" Picasso Noah. You'll get attacked & called a person who supports women killing themselves.....@ least that's what happened to me when all I said was I liked him. Smh.
I can *strongly* recommend the Picasso: 1932 exhibition at the Tate Modern in London RN. Shows a fascinating progression of his work over just one year. It's on until the 9th September.
Really interesting, you used such an interesting mix of historic photos, shots of his work, cooking footage, and the more esoteric imagery, like the watercolors to depict periods.
suggestion for the bread hands- I would create a mitten shape out of one piece of dough and then use a knife to separate the fingers! great video as always :-)
Thanks to this Picasso cooking video I made some Spanish/Latin American inspired burgers with homemade shoestring potatoes, tomato mayo (used tomato sauce, not ketchup), Italian parsley and a brioche bun. It brought back memories of eating like this as a child. Never did I think I could recreate that on my own as there are no restaurants that serve this type of food near where I live. In hard times it helps to reconnect with one's roots. 🇪🇸🇨🇺🇲🇽❤️
Even if you don't enjoy knowing how the sausage is made, and find the result less than appetizing, one can't help but marvel at it's impact. The sausage, I mean.
This is the way one should approach the cultural importance of art and artist while clearly separating and announcing the maleficent actions of said artist. I find it important that these types of explanations are supported because it does laud the greatness of the work and talent while contextualizing the unfavorable character traits of the artists.
Dat still life tho 👀 I'm still not sure how much I like Picasso or not, but this definitely reminded me of my love for heated, spiced wine, which I haven't had in too long and it's been a winter here in Argentina. But I do like this episode a lot, as always! 💕
I subbed to all 3 of you. I'm an artist also. Painting , Grafitti , stand-up comedy & writing mostly. I had my 1st novel "The Liberation of Folks Bell" (sci-fi. You can read the bio on line), published in 2012. I'm from Philly, I don't know how close you guys are but we (Philadelphia) have a lot of different groups within our art community. ACTUALLY , in a LOT of places its as easy as just walking up to ppl & starting a talk, debate or fight even about art. Lol. Ill see what I can dig up for you guys & post some info soon. Luv too you all🌹💝. Stay creative my friends😊.
If you want hard-boiled eggs to peel better, use eggs that aren't too fresh, but a little older. They peel much more cleanly. Weird but true. 😀 Love the video!
Great series! You have a nice voice for narration. I love your stove! I hope you don't mind a small "constructive criticism"? You do a great job with pronunciations, therefore, I want to point out this small thing. Court-bouillon pronounced "cou•bee•yawn" cou(rhymes with you)•bee(obvious)•yawn(soft n) Where I am from (Biloxi, MS) we make a redfish court-bouillon that I would have happily served to Picasso! I love your series and I hope you continue to make these! God Bless!
Hey was wondering how that fish tasted?? Curious bc it looks pretty but wondering if those ingredients meshed well? Also: this series is my favorite thing
I LOVE these videos!!! I am incorporating them in my High School Art classes as we study different artists from around the world and their culture each month. Any chance you could do Hokusai before November? :-) We're also covering Degas, DaVinci, Klimt and Prymanchenko this year...
I was surprised how entertaining this video would be. Really the bumbling cooking efforts was just plain fun to watch. Now i'm off to binge watch the whole dang channel.
I love food and how it intersects with artists lives i haven't missed a single episode yet, so of course i loved this video as well, since we get Picasso drilled into us since a very young age in Spain. I also wanted to point out a small mistake, the second painting you show that Picasso made when he was a child is not Dusk over the port of Malaga, it's actually a painting of Torre de Hercules, which is in Coruña (i recognised the scenery because its my hometown so i checked and it is actually that ). Also fun fact, did you know the current Spain Tourism is still the logo designed by Picasso?
Gah, so sorry about that! Thanks for mentioning the mistake, which I will note in the description. Thanks also for the love! And I had forgotten about Picasso's logo for Spain. Will they ever let it go, you think? Not that they should, it's just that these things usually change. But I guess most people don't have Picasso make theirs...
I didn't like Picasso, because I had a wrong idea about his art, but lika a month ago I watched a critic talking about him and he opened my eyes. I mean, Picasso isn't still my favourite artist, but at least I don't think he was bad. Nice video :D
*Jowhar Shareef* it's a Spanish youtuber Antonio García Villarán, hope you can understand. There are 2 videos, but both are worth spending 10-25 minutes. ua-cam.com/video/HRBL9XFwBQo/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/vYMKvJmHakY/v-deo.html

I believe it is from England. It dates back to the 15th century here and is called ‘black pudding’ by most people. I’m English and I’ve never tried it however... it’s not particularly popular.
Frying paper seems a lot cooler than the tea bag method

so technicaally deep fried memes are a work of art too
Technically yes they absolutely are
Yes, that’s the cool thing about art. If you see it’s art, it is, to you obviously.
memes themselves are art

@Gunnar Jayden instablaster ;)
the sausage in the room lol (on another note, i really like the format with cooking/photos/drawing)
im not a fan of picasso as a person or his work, but i really enjoyed this video

YESSSS I love art cooking!!! ❤️ And Picasso, I just saw a bunch of his paintings in Barcelona and absolutely loved them!!!!
Be careful saying that "you like" Picasso Noah. You'll get attacked & called a person who supports women killing themselves.....@ least that's what happened to me when all I said was I liked him. Smh.
Not really into Picasso, but can't help falling in love with this episode! Thank you so much for keep making these cool videos ;)

my great grandparents were neighbours with him back at antibes, and he loved loved loved to eat cherries and chat with them.
8:00 okay, that is now my favorite work by Picasso
“He did all the things”-dude same
0:08 whoa that audio echo on "food has also BEEN the art on a number of occasions"
I thought that was just my computer LOL
suggestion for the bread hands- I would create a mitten shape out of one piece of dough and then use a knife to separate the fingers! great video as always :-)
Oh that’s a good idea. Next time I make bread hands I’ll keep that in mind. 😆
This video is an art on its own. Magnificent.

I love this series so much! Also Nourish sounds awesome, I’ll definitely check it out.
Picasso seemed pretty arrogant, thinking himself superior to women. I wonder what his daughter Paloma thought of him.
This is the way one should approach the cultural importance of art and artist while clearly separating and announcing the maleficent actions of said artist. I find it important that these types of explanations are supported because it does laud the greatness of the work and talent while contextualizing the unfavorable character traits of the artists.
The underlying playfulness is enticing. Tonight finger bread!
This is really cool channel! Thanks for creating such a great way to teach and talk about art. ;)
OMG These videos keep getting better!!😍

Man, I wanna meet up with other artists like the artist of the past. Art Assignment do you know any local art groups for fans and artists to meet up?
Would love to join.

These are cooking episodes are my favorite. I can’t imagine how long they take to make. Impatiently waiting for more!
You are blissfully articulate and eloquent

This is such an interesting collection of pots and pans
Never thought I needed to watch this.. I’m bingeing through this whole channel now lol

Or cook the eggs in an instant pot! Even fresh eggs will peel so easily.
This video was brilliant. Will there be more to expect like these?
I LOVE this series
I want to know more about this frying paper thing. Do you have any links to more reading?
I frickinn love this channel!!! Binge watching
This video is an artwork on its own. I'm addicted to your videos.

Late to the party but love the clapping bread at the end. I needed to see that today. Great video.

Actually the way she pronounces it is pretty much exactly the French way of saying it (the t is silent though)
OMG! What an interesting way to learn about both art and cooking. I love it so much!!!
This was educational, funny, and very clever! I love it!
Wow! What an excellent video! This is a medium by which I’ve never seen Picasso discussed!
really enjoyable crash course! thank you!

Hold the microplane in your left hand and keep it fixed. Zest the orange with your right hand. It’s way easier and feels much more natural.
Feels like a cute cooking-art event at a local art studio
Does anyone have a Picasso fountain pen?
That fish serving method was big in the 70s and still big in a lot of cafeterias lol.
Didn't know it had a connection to Picasso.
I love your voice 😍
Her arms are scintillating.
This looked delicious!
So no hashish fudge?
If you wanted to use this format a few dozen more times, I would appreciate it. Engaging, humorous, informative... I need some sangrí now.

I believe it is from England. It dates back to the 15th century here and is called ‘black pudding’ by most people. I’m English and I’ve never tried it however... it’s not particularly popular.
It exists in several regions. Blood pudding in England, Morcilla in Spain (often there’s rice is theirs), and Boudin noir in France. Where else?
Blutwurst in Germany and Austria
That's so cool! How do they differ?
Microplane graters are awesome. You might think you don't need one but you absolutely do.
These art cooking episodes never disappoint! And know I kind of want to fry a drawing.....
You really should. It was easy! Although does involve a fair amount of oil that you can’t use for anything else.
The clapping bread hands 😂♥
