Hey! I have played the game with the mod. I really like it, gives a new and nice experience to the game. But there is one Issue, and I don't know if its my game or the mod, but when "don't do it" plays right after the crap turrets explode the music goes silent and is only heard again after you plug wheatley back in. Now this is just nitpicking but when "your precious moon" is playing I would recommend the part where the choir is playing full background chords (in the remix at 1:04). Its the strongest part and it builds up even faster towards the end, and its the "Epic" part and most of the people shoot the portal to the moon way earlier so they probably wont hear it. All in all its a really good mod, and it also captures the dynamic of the Original really well. *EDIT:* Ok the "Don't do it" track problem is randomly caused by my game I don't know why
The issue with Don't Do It is interesting. I didn't experience it myself, but how do you know that it's only you and not others as well? If so, I should try to figure out what's wrong for some. I can definitely try to do the thing with Your Precious Moon. I already have some suggestions from my discord server noted, so eventually I'll change all of them at once and release another update. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@pomchomxml about "Don't do it" the bug didn't came another time since then, I don't know how it got triggered but restarting the game was the solution in my case.
@@pomchomxml Don't Do It is kind of weird. it didn't start playing until the stalemate resolution annex was revealed when i played the mod for the first time
@@commodore7331 Did you play verson 1.0.1 or 1.0.2? I made a change in 1.0.2 that may have fixed it, but I'm still not sure what the actual problem is.
I could maybe do this. I'm not sure how much I feel like going through the effort though; I can just help you individually. To start, do you have a Windows PC or a Mac?
to be completely honest, i haven't ever played the half-life games. i've considered it a few times, but it seems to have a fair amount of horror, which isn't my thing. so almost definitely not. although to my knowledge, hl2's music is nowhere near as dynamic as p2's, so if anyone else wanted to, it probably wouldn't be very hard.
@@pomchomxml You should reconsider playing the Half-Life games. It has horror elements but it doesn't resemble any kind of classic horror game at all. In fact, it's actually pretty unique and I wouldn't know what type of genre to put it in. I haven't met anyone whose played Half-Life 2 and it's episodes and didn't like it.
Vandoorea, Harry UK and others is still keeping this game alive! I am happy about this. This game shouldn't die. 🙂

can you make a video on how to install and apply the mod? I'm a bit confused on how to get to the Portal 2 directory.

Vandoorea's remixes are awesome but they sound a bit too intense within the game's context
that's why it's a mod and not the official game. some people see music as the highlight of a game and for those people, this is an option.
