Hello from the Midwest of the USA. I appreciate these walking about London videos. They are little escapes during this time where we are all stuck at home, especially where I live in the middle of nowhere. Looking forward to a future visit to London.
I worked for london transport in the 1960s spent a lot of time operating the lifts at belsize park and chalk farm when they were manual so it was nice to see these underground stations again, nice video.
This just confirmed what I've ALWAYS known... I want to move here!!! What a cool place; Shops, foot-traffic, The Underground, diversity, etc. With America in such turmoil, what better time than now for me and my Yorkie Puppy to Expat!!!
I live in Hampstead. Best place in the world. Calm, quiet, like a village but close to central London. Convenient. Beautiful. Come on over! Lots of Americans in Hamp. We'd love to have you.
AlphaOmegaRecords ~ What a lovely reply to start the weekend!!! I will spend it looking over Hampstead Video clips and researching my options!!! I'm excited... And grateful!!! Thank you!!! P.S. I worked in the Record Industry all of my adult life. Every Major and Indie Label. Could this be a sign??? 😊
@@CarylQRadio That is a sign! Wow. Well, if you do move over here you've already found someone to show you around, and I'd love to hear all the music industry gossip. You'll find the people here are (mostly!) delightful. The area is so nice I suppose one can't help but be in a good mood a lot of the time. My building always has Americans and Canadians moving in. Hampstead is still a very traditional English place with such an amazing history, but you'll also find the French, many Jews and Japanese as well as people from the US. I don't think I'll ever leave the area unless there's some disaster! I'm 38 and I hope to live my life in Hampstead for the rest of my days. That should say it all! Anyway, come along and bring as many Americans as you can. We love our closest ally afterall.
AlphaOmegaRecords 6 days ago?!?!? I am JUST seeing your response, as I was about to respond to Lou Lou!!! I received no notification of your post. So sorry for the late reply!!! ☺️ London has been a place where I wanted to live since childhood. Now, I plan to put it into motion. The U.S. is no longer "United". What better time to get out of Dodge!!! However, this Virus that is wrecking the World is a hindrance to my plans. I want to book a flight and bring my little Yorkie and stay for about three months. Get a feel. Enjoy Europe. Then, come back and plan accordingly. I would LOVE to connect while there!!! This would be such a blessing. Please connect with me on FB; and/or on Instagram and TikTok @carylqradio. I am excited!!! Let me know who you are via my Socials and I will follow back!!! Let's go!!!

Great video, as ever! Props for facing these temperatures. Do you carry the camera in your hand the whole time or do you strap it on somehow? And any preference for the Gopro or DJI?
Rob, yes I hand-hold the camera/gimbal the whole time. I slightly favour the Osmo Pocket for these walks, though I've had several issues with it in the past - had to send it in for repair each time.

Is this a part of England? Because I don't see any mosque here.

No potholes in them roads
