I have too. I felt it right away. I’ve talked to other members who justify listening to him and they said this: well it’s good to support someone who does try to be a listener instead of someone spewing hate about the church. Nope, jeff has proven that he tries to bring down the doctrine. Nope. I’m glad you see it!

David. THIS is the stuff. THIS. THIS is the deep down truth people have got to give an ear to. Love every bit of this video. Hoorah for Israel forever and always. The prophet has warned us about giving an ear to people like Jeff on the internet. Saints who pay attention to Jeff. Don’t justify it in any way. It destroys the spirit more than you can recognize. David, thank you for your words. I will say it again. God called to you, you listened with a humble heart. We have gained a very strong Saint. I thank the lord for you strong saints out there.

Brother David, you remind me of myself after I came into the Gospel. I handed out Books of Mormon to all my family, I tried to tell them the Good News and they thought I was crazy. 37 years later they just roll their eyes and tell me they love me. They see how the Gospel changed my whole life for the better, though they don't embrace it themselves. At least they don't call me crazy. God bless you Brother. 🙏 ❤🙏

David, your prior churches didn't baptize you because they did not have authority, and deep down they were stump with the ordinance of baptism. If baptism was not necessary, then why did Jesus Christ travel 40 miles to received baptism by John the Baptist who had the authority to perform baptism? Baptism is necessary even if you have faith for Cornelius knew that he had to go to an Apostle of the Lord who had the authority
in order to be baptized even though Cornelius had an angle speak to him face to face. Faith alone isn't enough to enter into the
Father's kingdom. He had to go to one who had the authority to give him the ordinance..

The reformers did not have the authority to baptize either . Though they were brave and wonderful and helped made the way for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to be brought back I’m wondering where the reformers would have their authority ? And did they kill the reformers for baptizing or for not believing in the Trinity ? Or just for not believing what they taught or was it not killing for not believing in the Trinity ?? No one had proper authority until the gospel was restored . Jeff feels there was never a falling away .

Thanks David for your powerful testimony. I was once saved at the age of 12 at a evangelical revival meeting. I was truly moved by the Spirit. Then a strange thing happened about a year later. I was moved again by the Spirit to give my heart to Christ at another revival meeting. How could this be, I asked myself? I believe that the Spirit was preparing me for the truth. Another year passed when the missionaries knocked on our door. Shortly thereafter, my parents, siblings and I were baptised into the Saviour's restored church by the proper priesthood. After 53 years we remain faithful. Christ commanded his Apostles to.. ¶ "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" can it be any simpler to believe and follow. PJ your name is on the Temple prayer roll.

David, I love your passion and clarity! The thing is, Pastor Jeff cannot believe that baptism is truly essential for salvation, because he doesn’t believe in vicarious baptism for those who haven’t had an opportunity for baptism on earth. The requirement of baptism without Heavenly Father providing a way for all His children to receive this ordinance, would be grossly unfair to 99.999% of His children-and Jeff knows it.
Only the Latter-day Saints really understand the incomprehensible grace of the Father and the Son. The grace that is offered to God’s children is so much greater than Pastor Jeff could ever know, unless he (like all of us) repents and humbles himself to this reality.

It makes sense why pastor Jeff would say baptism isn’t necessary. You know how much work and organization would be required of him and his church if he believed baptism is necessary to enter the Kingdom of God? The baptism of the dead would be a work he wouldn’t and couldn’t organize because frankly they’re not guided by priesthood authority or divine revelation. This is the whole purpose of temples; to help the dead with their salvation by providing a way for them to be baptized, among other ordinances. They don’t even call themselves saints. This title was given to the members of the original Church of Jesus Christ and the proof is in the New Testament in the letters of Paul to the saints. These truths just add to my testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church and Kingdom of God on earth today. The organization of said church is perfect even if we as members aren’t. Thank you brother David for opening your mouth and speaking truth while denouncing deception!

I analyzed his tactics, how he talks, subject matters and how he lured people in and acted like a friend of members of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and as if he was investigating the Church and I would see all these members of LDS Church believing all of his stuff and wishing him well and hoping he see the truth but in fact he already knew what he knew and his intent was to rob members of there faith. He'll say that it's to avoid negativity or avoid confrontation, but it's fear. Jeff has felt inside he knows what he needs to do, it's undeniable, but he doesn't want to listen. Most people would jump at an opportunity to flip a Mormon, younger groups HAVE tried but Jeff knows he can't walk out of this one alive. As a past member of another Church prior to the LDS faith Jeff’s is completely confusing and teaches false doctrine on any level. He knows what he is doing and his focus shouldn’t be on the Lords Chirch, the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints but on what he believes. He only focuses on the LDS church because he doesn’t believe in its teachings, so he should move on. Heck if I will decide to create a channel that just focuses on Jeff’s and his congragation cause that would be Just wrong and un Christ like. We believe in letting people believe what they want to believe. Shouldn’t wast your time going around bashing other religions and doing it in such a Nice cleaver way. People are having to respond to JEFFS because of the false hoods being spoken that’s only reason. If he wants to preach what he believes create a channel, focus on it and forget about the LDS church, why wast time on a church he Jeff’s doesn’t even believe in in first place. Evangelism believes there is no need for baptism, no need for the restored church. Look at the number of subscribers, mostly Saints? Evangelism is an easy christianity, and Hello Saints puts an appealing face on it. Can we support the Lord’s work, and evangelism at the same time? I saw that Jeff had a new video, and I refused to watch it. I was just telling my husband that I would only watch YOUR reaction to it. Well said. What a great video, full of passion and truth. Thank you!! I hope more and more people see YOUR videos. It's common sense, and Jeff's stance on baptism is unbiblical, as you said. Baptism is a saving ordinance, just as you perfectly described in the many scriptures you referenced. It makes so much sense. Jeff is preaching the philosophies of man, mingled with scripture. Is evangelism coming into the LDS church? Example, Hello Saints broadcast. Haven’t members of the LDS Church, opened their arms, and embraced that evangelistic programming? Evangelism believes there is no need for baptism, no need for a restored church. Look at the number of subscribers, mostly Saints? Evangelism is a easy christianity , and Hello Saints puts a appealing face on it. Can we support the Lord’s work, and evangelism at the same time? Matthew 12:25… every kingdom divided against itself is brought to destruction.

Brother David, I love your passion for God and Christ! The doctrines of Christ and His Father are clear in the Bible; by the time moveable text was available most were illiterate and only could listen to what their leadership force-feed them. By the 16th century, so much falsehood was well-entrenched with deep political and government ties. Thus, with the establishment of the Constitution's First Amendment, free men could worship as they wished without establishing a national religion. Although, secularism is quickly becoming the religion of the ruling elite.
I spent my mission serving people in the South who, like the aggressive reformers, attacked us in every way possible. Thankfully I was able to spend an hour or so every morning studying and I gained such a strong testimony of the NT because as I read in context rather than only seeing a few verses, I could see the true gospel enshrined in only one place: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was so glad to be able to serve the Lord and teach His true gospel.
    Keep up the good work.

When Christ talks about wailing and gnashing of teeth -- it will be the lukewarm members of the gospel who were not valiant in their Testimony of Jesus Christ and many of the Evangelicals who have followed unauthorized preachers that teach so many of the "Inherited Lies" that have been passed down since the Apostasy. It is so obvious that Baptism is required for those who have reached the age of accountability and that it is a mockery to baptize infants and little children. Thank you brother David. After watching pastor jeffs video i was horrified to see how many lds fans of jeff were just lapping up his teaching against baptismal regeneration.
What does it mean to be saved? Does it mean to have your sins forgiven? To be regenerated and made spiritually alive after once being spiritually dead in our sins? Mark 1 says we are baptized unto repentence for the remission of sins. This is why 1 peter 3 says baptism now saves us.
Pastor jeff read 1 peter 3 and said that, taken in context, this scripture is teaching that it is Christ's ressurection that saves us, not baptism. But as you pointed out so expertly, Romans 6 teaches that baptism is what unites us to christ in both his death and ressurection.

All throughout the Bible Truth is taught only by way of the Holy Ghost. To claim Bible college as the litmus test is to fall prey to the deceptions of Satan. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees who believed they had higher authority of the truth because they were scholars. Jeff was taught the philosophies and doctrines of men who misinterpreted God’s words.
Jeff preaches a new gospel as from this dispensation Baptism was a key component and essential in Christianity.

I have been pondering the commitment of the church to baptism - we have 73,000 missionaries who have one job: find and baptise those who desire to be bound to Christ. We all know we will keep very few of these people, many of them will leave the church very rapidly but we commit so much of our time, effort and treasure to this purpose. We (obviously) do not expect that many of these people will produce much fruit - or continue in the church, or take any additional ordinances - but it is SO IMPORTANT that we do it anyway. Think about that. Ponder how serious the Lord is, to get this essential ordinance out to ALL PEOPLE. In addition we commit as much time, effort, and treasure to finding and baptising the DEAD. There is NO CHURCH that takes this responsibility as seriously as the true, restored Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter Day Saints.

Same is true for every prophet throughout history, the only difference is most was so long ago we don't have those "stories" documented. Only legitimate scripture. Furthermore there are many examples of awful behavior by "men of god" Satan (and his own) does his dirty work and he's allowed to; the whole point of this probationary period we call mortality. I believe in the principal of equal opposition in all things. Those given great light often have to grapple with great evil. The Book of Mormon is a beautiful gift of enlightenment from our loving Eternal Father who has not left us alone in these last days. I encourage anyone who sees this to read it and do all the research they can in the spirit of searching for truth. That said let's not lose sight of #1 is; Jesus. 🤍

@@kylethedalek It isn't easy to tear down because the LDS teach that Jesus is risen up in the flesh so the LDS agree with the Bible account of 1 John. What you may not realize about Prophets of God is that if the people are not Faithful or obedient to the Lord's prophet and rebel against him then they won't received the promised blessings promised by the prophets. The Children of Israel did not meet the necessary requirements in order to be worthy to enter into the promised land when led by Moses So most of them did not sanctify themselves to enter into the promised land and went wandering in the wilderness being cursed for 40 years slowly dying by the local poisonous wildlife because they had rebelled and rejected Moses council. Does that make Moses a false prophet because the children of Israel had rejected his counsel and no longer listened to him? no.
Its the same also with the Lord's latter-day prophets today. Reject their council, and end up crying like a pack of alley cats howling upon the fence with that awful out of tune din crying Fallen Prophet and making "olympic sized swimming pools of self-pity"" as Elder Maxwell had put it when he talked about disobedience to the prophets in Zion.

Jesus himself walked miles to meet John to be baptized and gave us an example practicing and also on his own voice : " Let's comply with every justice" as said it to John the Baptist. The Book of Acts mentions how the Apostles and disciples went on baptizing and laying on the hands on them to be able to received the gift of the Holy Ghost.Of course becuase they have the real Authority to perform such. Baptism is the gate to exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom, the entry to the covenant path. It isn't necessary for "salvation" into one of the other kingdoms. See D&C 76:43-44, 2 Nephi 2:4. All but the sons of perdition are "saved" eventually into a kingdom with some level of glory. This is a marvelous effect of the Atonement that is often overlooked. The great message of the Restoration that was lost in the Apostasy is that THERE IS SO MUCH MORE!: exaltation, perfection, eternal family life, and becoming like God the Father, living in His presence, having His power and glory, inheriting all that he has, etc. etc. His love for us and His power to exalt us are so much greater than other religions can even imagine. So we are usually talking about exaltation when Protestants are only talking about salvation., although we sometimes use the words interchangeably. Perhaps we shouldn't! Anyone can get to the lower kingdoms without baptism. These are the kingdoms many would be perfectly happy in forever. It's all they expect. THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF "SALVATION" IS SO FAR BELOW WHAT THE RESTORED GOSPEL OFFERS THAT IT CAN'T BEGIN TO TOUCH IT. WE MUST MAKE THE DISTINCTION!!!

I personally understand curiously studying some one's faith , but I know Pastor Jeff is trying to prove that what we believe is wrong, while acting like he's curious and smiling 😁 a lot. He comes across as being disingenuous, to me. He's trying to save us because he feels we're going to go to hell. Evangelicals and Calvary have always hated our church and I don't think they will ever stop preaching against us! And I sometimes get the feeling he's patronizing us, using us for clicks, filming in our chapels. There is definitely something behind his glaring fake over smile.
In a video l heard him say people have left our church for his, so l think he's a 🦊 fox in the hen house 🏠

You are definitely describing Christ’s church and doctrine. I color code my scriptures. One color for the Godhead and another for Faith, Repentance and Baptism. Faith, Repentance and Baptism and then receiving the Holy Ghost is everywhere in the New Testament. It reminds me constantly of the 4th Article of Faith given us by the Prophet Joseph Smith. “We Believe that the First Principles and Ordinances of (Christ’s) Church are: First, FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ, Second, REPENTANCE, Third, BAPTISM by Immersion for the remission of sins, Fourth, Laying on of Hands for the Gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Keep holding up the banner of Truth David, you are doing a great work. I listened to a few Hello Saints from Jeff at first. He is nice, but I also came to realize that he isn’t truly seeking, he wants to teach members of The Church of Jesus Christ that they are wrong. As for this member, he made me realize exactly how true Christ’s Restored Church is as we have the foundation Christ established with Christ as the cornerstone and Apostles and Prophets and Ordinances that save us, and True Doctrine. God be Thanked for the Matchless Life of His Divine son and His true church on earth!!

It doesn't mean anybody's interpretation of that path. Jesus showed us the path by being baptized and setting forth the covenants and ordinances to bind us to him as followers. It's beautiful and wonderful!

Our opinions about it may or may not be true, but it’s actually the Holy Spirit who testifies of the truths, the principles of the gospel!! The Holy Spirit will tell us the true meaning of things. And if we listen, we are being honest in our hearts.

    David, I think the most beautiful teaching on why baptism is essential that we have in scripture, maybe apart from 2 Nephi 31, is found in Moroni 8 where he shares the teachings of his father, Mormon, on the wickedness of baptizing children. Because little children are innocent and incapable of realizing their need for repentance and obedience, he teaches it is an abomination before God to require them to be baptized. Then he explains this profound doctrine, 25 And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;
26 And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God.
The symbolism of of the water washing away our sins is obvious, but Paul’s teaching of crucifying the man of sin and descending in death with Christ so we can be raised to a newness of life is profound. As many have taught, true faith in Christ is always manifested by faithfulness. It’s our repentance and willingness to enter a covenant with God through baptism, followed by our sincere efforts to stay in covenant through sincere obedience that brings the cleansing and sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost into our lives. Preach on, brother.

    Hello again David,
Thank you for defending the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for your deep knowledge of the Old and New Testaments. I learn great and marvelous things from each of your videos.
I started ignoring Pastor Jeff for continually using the word "mainstream". Since when was mainstream thinking accurate? The world isn't flat, nor does the sun revolve around the earth. Adding to the Bible at the Council of Nicea, and many Council's afterward, falls into the same category. As do the 5 Sola's.
In my opinion, the sinner’s prayer is another way to have what God the Father prevented Adam and Eve from having in the Garden of Eden - living forever in their sins. All they had to do was reach out and partake of the fruit of the Tree of Life (without permission). Claiming that salvation is assured by saying a few words (why not ring a bell or doing a proscribed set of dance steps) seems to me to be very similar thinking........ it attempts to make not only baptism unnecessary but also keeping of any of the rest of the Commandments of God optional.
Thanks for all you do. Best wishes always,

  • @familyman6487

It is perplexing to me that so many (not all) in today’s Christianity cannot grasp the simple message in Hebrews 5: 9 “And being made perfect, he (Jesus) became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY him.” Obedience has nothing to do with “earning” salvation, as some may believe. This accusation that we are trying to “earn” is a distraction tactic to the real reasons that we must obey. Obedience has everything to do with preparing oneself to receive the free gift of salvation that only Christ Jesus can and has paid for! Without obedience, there is no understanding of the things of God! Job taught that to DEPART from evil (repentance) is understanding. David declared that he understood more than the ancients because he KEPT the precepts of God. It is no wonder that Satan would minimize works and obedience, and call them “non-essential”, since that false belief would and does perpetuate the lack of Spiritual understanding. It is Satan’s greatest ploy for his purpose to deceive.

I had asked Jeff what evangelical has the proper authority to omit baptism by immersion by one having proper authority? No answer. I had on my mind while watching, that the apostate view was on display and the justifications and reason why he doesn't see it as necessary brought me to wonder how he has the authority to decide that and when did that occur. But I realize this is embedded in many ignoring proper priesthood authority and covenants and ordinances needed. It is contrary to the Bible. I hope his heart will be softened to learn the truth

It's good to hear "Hello! It's David again" once more.
I'm beginning to agree with a lot this new opinion forming around Pastor Jeff. When his channel started out it was interesting because an Evangelical actually seemed to take an interest in Latter-day Saints rather than run them off and it appeared to be that at the start, but as time goes on, it's less about that and more about convert the Mormons. But, you have to give it to him, he's very cunning and subtle about it but the more time goes on, it's becoming more and more about seeking out the weaker Latter-day Saints and really causing them to question their faith. You've got to be a strong Latter-day Saint around him. The first big tip off to me was when he showed the video of the woman that attended a sacrament meeting. He sold it as a woman supporting his slogan, but as you watched the video, he was calm and cool with how she was reacting, her intent was to convert the Mormons and he didn't have looks of puzzlement or questioning but smiling like a pat on the back. He was proud of her.
His channel started out much differently but now, yeah, it's apparent he's out to cause Latter-day Saints to question their faith. When he prayed to go to Utah, he didn't pray to understand the Mormons better, he prayed asking if it was God's will to go to Utah to save them. His learning about the Church is deteriorating, his reading the Book of Mormon is gone, and he's wanting to play the kind Evangelical with the intent to win Latter-day Saints over with the kindness effect. Problem is, I think they found statistically that Latter-day Saints leave Christianity more than convert to other faiths because Christian doctrine, unless your ignorant, really doesn't make sense. Christians I know of still don't understand the Trinity and that's a problem for them. Most Latter-day Saints go to spiritualist and a lot go atheist, so Pastor Jeff isn't helping at all, he's running good people out of the faith altogether. That's pretty slick.
If you watch the channel MORMON BOOK REVIEWS, the guy interviews another guy who was Evangelical and organized a mission to Utah. He'd known Latter-day Saints growing up in California and was even meeting with the Sister Missionaries, but he went on a mission to Utah and describes the methods he used to convert Mormons and he states he was successful, like a Korihor, but then he started to question why he was doing what he was doing, got caught turning on what he originally went down there for but ended up meeting with the missionaries more and was baptized and is now getting ready to serve a mission with the actual authority to proclaim the gospel so, Jeff is doing the same thing. They told him the field is ripe in Utah and he's working on his Utah buddies with the kindness approach so, while it started out good, his channel seems to be progressively leaving that behind for "Hello Saints, let's see if I can change your mind." He's said that his Evangelical friends in Utah told him to leave Missouri to go to Utah for a unique kind of work so, he's taking their word and is gonna work on Latter-day Saints it seems and one day, like Korihor, you get to stand before God where he asks: Why did you try to turn my children against me? You get to account for that so, yeah, David knows that side, he knows their methods, the guy has 47 years experience and Hello Saints is changing. If there's a comment in his section that is anti-Evangelical, he deletes it. If it causes you to question LDS doctrine, it stays. His faith can't be made to look bad and he checks it regularly. I'm certain he's carefully watching David's videos like this and combing the comments section as well. Saints Unscripted? No. Stick of Joseph? Yes

    • @GMMXX80
      @GMMXX80 9 місяців тому

@@loridavis7086Oh, man.... I'm sorry. What I meant by that was Saints Unscripted isn't one to look into what's going on with other channels and get caught up in Hello Saints..... Political kind of stuff, though David Snell is an excellent missionary with a good approach to working with Jeff McCullough and is probably the most likely to "convert" Jeff, if that's possible but won't. Stick of Joseph's UA-cam channel are good guys but they're one of the few, along with Greg Madsen at CWIC MEDIA, also a good dude, who are looking out for Jeff and probably tipping him off. I used to think Greg Madsen and Jeff McCullough would be a good duo for UA-cam content, but I'd rather see Greg and David talk more, now, or see if Jeff McCullough can stand up to David here, I don't think he can, I think he's afraid David can dismantle him, he likely sees David as a demon possessed man that deceived him and led him to the LDS Church, David clearly feels otherwise. But, yeah, Saints Unscripted aren't going to go out of their way to see what trouble is brewing for Hello Saints, but Stick of Joseph does and have openly admitted to seeing the controversy that has been speer-headed by David whose been on Jeff's side and knows his methods as well as the young man interviewed by MORMON BOOK REVIEWS who was Evangelical and pretty much gave away Jeff's tactic. Jeffs intent to lead Latter-day Saints away by getting on their good side and building trust with curiosity, that's now. That's the Amalachiah tactic: "Come down off the mountain..... No? How about we meet half way and I'll let you bring your guards with you (I'm moving to Utah where I am now outnumbered and the minority)".
