- Morpho Knight might become the new secret boss, like Galacta Knight but we'll only know it in the future. As a butterfly it appeared in many games in the past and was planned initially to debut in the cancelled GameCube game, which was the had many of its ideas implemented in succeeding games like Return to Dream Land and Star Allies. I like how its role in the games as a surprise extra boss matches the judgmental and challenging atmosphere when testing Kirby in a battle.
Likewise, can be said about its battle theme. Although, we have 2 themes + arrangement, each version sounds different. Forgotten Land's rearranged it with the main leitmotif brilliantly and 30th Anniversary Music Fest's orchestral version is based on it. Enjoy!

So here's a fun fact: morpho did almost kill dedede. In a recent interview for Nintendo dream, kumazaki comments on the orange butterfly in return to dreamland (deluxe) and how it might be a certain someone, he also talks about how we should take note of how in the ending, the butterfly lands on the flower on dedede's head and not his head directly. Fun to think dedede was literal inches away from death itself
What does that mean, considering Morpho only goes after people who lived unnaturally long
And yet Kirby is unaffected... Does this mean either Morpho is disinterested in possessing Kirby for his strength and power, or is it because he can't? Does that make Necrodeus even stronger than Morpho Knight, as he was undeniably the closest villain to actually killing Kirby?

Both themes for morpho are fire and even have a meaning
Star Allies' Morpho Knight theme is mysterious because of how we knew nothing about it the first time.
Forgotten Land's Morpho Knight theme is literally "this mf is back!?"

and i love how his theme in forgotten lands fits his association with fire during the boss fight as it sounds beautifully elegant but also powerful and destructive like fire and morpho knight, heck morpho knight even acts like fire since fire can also symbolize Punishment which morpho knight is both a symbolism as a reaper as well as doing this to those who seem to be the worst of the worst (galacta knight and fecto forgo)
I wonder which entity will be next! It would be really sick if meta knight got hit next and became like corrupted morpho knight. Now THAT would be an insane concept
The forgotten land one gives me wild west vibes
The fact I'm more unnerved by a butterfly rather than whatever cosmic horror this series throws at me says a lot about what it's like being a Kirby fan.
The best thing that happened in the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival is that Kirby started dancing while rocking with the Morpho Knight armor.
Love how Morpho Knight is just pure fan service and has become a recurring character

Super Kirby Clash could be retroactively considered canon, y'know, the apple.
One thing that took me embarassingly long to notice was that Morpho's theme in Forgotten has many similarities to the one in Star Allies. It's just more intense and sped (along with the obvious Forgotten Land motifs added). I really thought they made something completely new until I actually listened to the Star Allies version again and noticed similar tunes.
Morpho Knight is the perfect super boss. The ambiguous morality + the destructive brutality of his attacks + the mysterious nature of him/his powers. The fact that we can pop off just by the mere sight of a butterfly is awesome.
The 2 themes we've gotten have been awesome too!

Kinda wish they would implement Morpho Knight EX’s abilities/difficulty into their regular version, I feel like that would make them an even more perfect boss, too many people keep complaining how they’re too easy in comparison to Galacta Knight.

But at the end of the forgotten land fight, the soul forgo thing can be seen escaping, and it technically has to survive in order for the final boss of that game to make sense, at least according to my understanding.

I remember how shocked I was in Forgotten Land when I saw that damn butterfly. I thought he was just a one off character added to Star Allies to throw a curveball at the fans, I didn't expect to see him again, and for the fight to be canon.

Morpho was the first kirby character I heard of thanks to a theory video. When he showed up in Forgotten Land (aka my first Kirby game) it made me FEEL something

Since in forgotten land morpho didnt need galacta knight, its safe to assume that morpho knoght is the true form of the orange butterfly, and the butterfly just needs enough energy to reform into morpho. So it is possible morpho was one of the heroes of yore
Literally what I have planned for my Kirby fanfic series! I just think it's a very cool concept that not many people think about.
Morpho wasnt one of heroes tho... he is death, the Grim reaper of the kirby universe, both galacta and forgo died tô him due to living unnaturaly long lives (altho in galacta's case is theorized that he called for morpho to kill him)
@@mobgabriel1767 Well, yeah. At least in my story, Morpho is still the grim reaper guy, but I took some liberty to do stuff for his bckstory. I mean, if he's the reborn butteefly, he must have had a past life, right?
Morpho isn't a guy. Most text simply uses "it" but there's evidence it's actually female, such as its original Japanese name being *Barufrei,* which is a pun on the words for butterfly and valkyrie - and as most people familiar with Norse mythology should know, all valkyries are women.
You also have to acknowledge they inherit some power,ability, or representation of the victim, for example the forgotten land version sends out ghastly faces of soul forgo.

His normal theme is mysterious, his theme with a dream friend is about the dream friend, his theme in forgotten land use the main forgotten labd leitmotif because we are with Elfilin as a friend.

morpho's knight theme is technically in Suite: Star Conquering Traveller, Hope of Birth (at the end of Hope of Birth), and Sparkling Star (at the very beginning)

All of Forgotten Land is canon and Galacta Knight has yet to make a canon appearance even though he is canon in the universe.
