1:44 "On this one I can go a little more aggressive... *If I can spread that crack a little bit,* I can get that resin in..." - This method typically works for me just not with the phone.
It has worked for me slightly, however you must use an UV lamp and let it set for a minute. After that use a razor and scrape the resin slowly. Hope this helps and happy new year.👍
I had a chip in the middle of my pixel 6 pro, I tried this because I had some laying around and while it did not make it invisible I can no longer feel the chip and it has filled it in. Some one said it is up cured so I chucked it in my resin printers wash and cure station. I’d consider. This again if I had another small chip just to reduce issues with screen protectors or further damage from occurring.
It actually does work and stops the cracks from continuing to spread and makes it feel smooth to the touch you have to use Au V light that has UV CBA you UVC for a sterilization and let it sit Close to the phone for 2 hours take a razor blade scrape off the resin because it does harden because of the UV light and the phone looks a lot better you can still see the cracks but far less
you prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Edison Morgan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Worked for me. I had my cracked android phone for 2 years after I fixed it with a windshield repair kit. I then put a plastic screen protector over it.
I used a dremel and dremeled out the cracks s bit with a diamond bit then used magnibond with a uv light. Seems to be fine so far . I had about 2 huge cracks across horizontally and a bunch of spider cracks on the edges
would this work for the back of the phone? I have a bunch of spider cracks connecting to a central crack. Would you use a tooth pick to fill in the cracks?
Sir what if my phone has its faint hairline single crack at the bottom of the display do not feel it when my mail run over it,,, I don’t plan a replacement now But I just applied a decree protector pls what’s my fate?😢,,,on 11 pro max
But isn't the problem that you were using the solution on the glass protector rather than the actual glass, perhaps if you had gotten under the glass protector you might have had better results. You have to remember a glass protector isn't glass it's actually a plastic layer so you are putting resin on a plastic layer not glass. You would really need to remove the glass protector and clean the glass maybe even make the surface damage more around the crack to allow the resin to seep into the crack then put a new glass protector over the top once you cured it. But what you did didn't really make sense and was obvious not to work.
I'm about to try it on my phone. In the instructions for the resin it says to ensure the surface is above 70 degrees for it to flow. What are the odds that his phone was 70?
Its too bad it didn't work it would have been a great second option rather than spending 120+ bucks . the new part for my phone is like 25 bucks the rest is the labor .
It’s works, but you do wrong, need to pushit with sonmething, maybe a nidle, you have to verify the recin it’s getting on the crack…its very good. Sorry my bad English.
I will do this whatever the result will be. Small pieces are missing and I am scared it will damage my finger. It scratches badly. I don't care if the cracks will not disappear.
@@sangeetamishra5071 I have filled the missing pieces with that windshield repair kit. Still looking ugly, but it is flush now and I can not feel with my finger that there were pieces missing. Had to fill it 3-4 times though
U did not bust any myth. Because it's not a myth. U used way to little u need to drench it and gently work the resin in the cracks. Then u need to cure it well I. The sun. It works great. .most important is to have a smoothing sand paper and a polishing sand paper refinish it with a polish like turtle wax. It works u did it wrong. This is literally the worst demo on UA-cam
Haven't seen it ever run beneath the screen. Period. Also never saw someone trying to repair a protector... All in all this video is pretty dull - even if the method is only working average when applyed correctly and to the right parts.
I was really hoping this was going to work. Thanks for helping shed light on this crap. It’s gonna save me a few dollars
Using a uv lamp made all of the difference for me. those cracks are gone.

Yeah this definitely works for me too

Ignore, he's trying to fix a screen protector made of plastic, this is for glass repair, no myth busted here

I think this would maybe help for deep scratches but not for cracked phone display‘s
Take a shot each time he says crack 😂

sobre el protector del telefono no le va a funcionar, eso es plastico, no es vidrio
umm, I dont think you can just use any resin. You should try a brand name windshield repair one.
Well why TH would you do it on plastic
