Long time lurker, now a subscriber - of all the current SEA UA-camrs, you are by far the most laidback and easy to watch. Keep it up, and enjoy Vietnam, my favorite country in SEA (and yes, that is after well over 25 years of travelling in SEA).
Excellent as always. I love the fact that you all are open to the food and don’t act scornful like some foreigners I miss Vietnam a lot. Can’t wait to be back.
Just happened to stumbled into your channel. Your personalities and manners are a pleasant to watch. Your videos are super fun and informative. Decided to subscribe after watched some of your videos. Looking forward to see more of you both in the future. You guys are really cute together, Tia got one of the best smile ever.
You guys deserve a freebie. I did a tour w Xo in 2013 and it was like yours, not only about eating food but also food culture and a guide through the city. They are v reputable. Thanks
I love food tours and free walking tours that most places have. Because I do a fair bit of solo travelling these are both great ways to learn about the new place or country. Or different regions such as HCMC and Hanoi. These tours teach you about the area and you learn so much through the food. Glad you did this!
@2:03 pretty much nailed the pronunciation perfectly, with the correct tones and everything. Just stumbled on your channel today and started with the Vietnam series. Great job guys!
I’m surprised Tia pronounced “Bún Bò Huế “ perfectly. Bravo! Great traveling couple! Just subscribe. Please come to my childhood hometown, Nha Trang, a beautiful beach city, not as fancy as Waikiki, but still rated the 26th (?) most beautiful beach in the world and the best beach in Vietnam by Tripadvisor. Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee 🇺🇸
Been on a few XO food tours and never had a complaint. The young ladies had no problem maneuvering around the city with me on the back of their motorbike. We always took an evening tour and it was a blast!!!
randomly stumbled across your video about your time in singapore, and fell in love with your personalities and your radiant positivity! really glad i did, and now ive become a fan of seeing how your excitement and passion for travelling has translated into your videos! thank you both for spreading your good vibes to those around you, both physically and through your videos! really excited to see whats to come from you two!
This is an awesome XO food tour. love it! Thanks for sharing the wonderful footage of Vietnam street. I enjoyed it and have subscribed to your channel.
Being hit up by a tour company just after arriving to Vietnam is pretty freaking cool! Well deserved! 5:54 Photo Bomb! Balut is my bane. I've always told myself I would try anything at least one time but this may be the ultimate test. Cheveyo, I'm sure it felt good not to have to drive for once. I'm pushing it I know. 😅 Although I'll be in Thailand for the next few months, I'm already looking for places to stay in Chinatown Saigon. 🤔
I can feel so much vibe with this particular vlog and Vietnam has so much actions with all the food/street-markets; plus the food tour is a fabulous idea🤙🤙
Cool video as usual. Looks like you are starting to get a sense of the amazing vibe Vietnam has. I did a similar tour and it was fantastic. I rarely go on tours but just relaxing on the back of a bike and taking in all the incredible energy and sights is such a hoot. I know you guys are going to keep being wow'd, because Vietnam is just that kind of place. As an aside. I have heard it might be possible to do a "visa run" and get another 30 days. I have a feeling you are going to want to hang out longer than 30 days.
Yes you can do a visa run every 30 days. That would be a total pain though if you wanted to stay 6 months. We will go back for a holiday when they go back to the 3 month visa.
Bun bo Hue is one of my favorite dishes! If you haven't tried these, these are some of my favorites also. Com tam, broken rice with pork chop, egg quiche and shredded pork skin. Banh cuon, which is a rice crepe stuffed with mushroom and ground meat. Bun rhieu, which is a crab base broth with tomatoes and crab meat or sometimes snails. If you have a big appetite, the baked catfish with peanuts and you wrap it with noodles and fresh herbs/veggies.
Advice for anybody that want to do this when they visit Vietnam. Make sure you do your research on a reliable/honest food tour company. Some are shady, they get paid by brining tourist to eat at their restaurant and overcharge you. Love your videos! and can't wait to back! differently will try some of the places you guys are at!
Guys, while you're there, please be sure to take the girls' advice and try Durian and Mangosteen ( king and queen of fruits respectfully) if you haven't tried them already. I believe now is the end of the durian season, and beginning of the mangosteen. Great timing! If you can please include the samplings on a video! Thanks.
I’ve been watching some interesting travel logs in the past number of years and yours are one of the most fun n entertaining, thank you!! Keep up!!!! I just have to ho back to the beginnings.
I went on an XO food tour right before shutdown ane cannot say enough good things. Professional, polite, and when it started pouring rain they were prepared with ponchos. Loved the bbq.
@@xotoursvietnam Although your service is good, however I think your company tours are too pricey, expensive. For a couple, would save almost $100.

Wow you guys are out on Sunday!!! Hey Wanderers!!!
3:48 I too love Bun Bo Hue more than Pho, but not much more. hehehe. Both are amazing.
Hi guys. Nice video. I am curious as to how much did XO food tour charge per person? Thank you and happy traveling in Vietnam.
U need to eat the herbs with the ballut
If you're still in HCMC, consider visiting Mekong Delta for elephant fish, coffee at the "Stark Tower", Bitexco Financial Tower's skydeck. If you're going to Ben Thanh mkt, make sure you haggle for abt 50% discount. 😀
Hello, I recommend you try flying to the Isle of Man. This is a place the same size as singapore! really lovely people and its a small place.
Your spelling of "Bun bo Hue''' is spot on. I hope you have a great time in Vietnam. Cheer!
Cheveyo, how do they charge their tour guide service? Is food cost included?
15:20 Your hesistation when eating that balut makes me laugh, man! 😹 It's just an egg! Imagine you're eating duck meat. 😹
Vietnamese called boil duck egg ( hột vịt lộn) not balut. Balut is Filipino word for boil duck egg. Why would those girls ordered yall boil duck egg lol that's for more adventurous eater. In Vietnam we have couple dishes that for adventurous eater one is called Tiết Canh its blood from chicken or pig I forgot but they make it like jello and you eat it with crackers (not recommended) haha
Wellcome to the tropical country and enjoy the heat every day over there !!!
what is the name of this tourguide agency? please
