Thanks for the content. It's very helpful. Where do you order your hardware from? Is the clear coat ok to use on the engine? Idk if it tolerates the engine heat
Follow the paint directions most importantly. Most will say apply within x hrs or then wait x days (scuff/spray). You don't want to sand metallics as they sit on top, so apply clear on early side of schedule and bake all at once is my advice.
I think if you do a few nice base coats and then do your best to get a nice thick final coat (Eliminate Metallic Inconsistencies), then the dark primer has no effect on final shade
use a toothpick to paint the small letters.. use vasoline around the large letters so the paint doesnt stick around the letters.
Great video! How about prepping and painting the rest of the engine? Is there tips on how to do it without taking everything apart? Thank you!

Thank you! Do you recommend baking it before or after the clear coat?

Have you noticed the honda cloud silver finish a little bit darker with the green self etching primer?

Did you bake the painted parts like you did in other vids?
Yes I bake my paint to help cure quicker and as an added benefit, it smooths out the finish too.
any updates on the army bike?
I'll know more this weekend. Still at powder- He is swamped
Get a Syringe filled with paint. Shoot it in the letters and heat in oven for 10 minutes
Thanks - I'll give it a "shot" - No pun intended
