Good video Josh. I’m never as lucky as you were to get that cable end to pop out of the hole on its own. I usually thread the cable the other direction, starting in the hole. Mike
I have a nauty dax cy50 and i am searching for a throttle it is the same concept but i dont know if this one will work on mine. Its original throttle was 26.40 mm will this one work?
Well it seems that the new OEM Honda tubes do not work. I have bought two of them. I just tried my second one, and it isn't anywhere close. My bike was missing the right handlebar or I would have used the original. I just purchased a used one off of eBay. 🤬
On a 68 ko the throttle stop does not have threads to twist onto the the throttle cable. The cable has no threads as well. Just fyi for anyone with one.
So I have watched the video 3 times .... I can't get my throttle assembly to rotate... I don't have the oem parts .... is there a way to fix that throttle with the rotation pc
That's the coolest ceiling fan I've ever seen
Great video. Been a couple years since mine came apart, needed a refresher.
I like your ceiling fan. Lol.
I never realized these bikes had a internal throttle set up. I rode alot of them as a kid and I never noticed.

Thanks for a good vid, no dilly dally just instruction and the free play trick was a homerun.
absolutely brilliant solution for the "free play" in the cable... it tightened it right up, Thanks!
Thanks, exactly what I needed. I'm renovating my 1970 CT70.
Great video. I always have to trial and error the throttle sleeve. Nice to your method to line it up. 👍
Awesome detailed video - thanks so much! Going to install my new kit this week as I'm finishing my 69 Silvertag Z50 restoration
Great video...I rebuilt mine but this was hugely helpful to make it a lot easier. Thanks!
some locktite on the throttle lock screw is something to consider.. they fall out without it/
Thank you so much Im doing a 1970 ct 70 bought my cabes from chp!God Bless-Vic.
Awesome! Thank you. Nice ceiling fan too. ;-)
Nice bike and the video ! Did you paint the bike ? If so ,what is the name of the color ?
Helpful vid mate not that much info on this stuff for some reason
Great video. I may take mine apart and grease the bar like you did. I tried dry lube and it doesn’t twist easily after a while.
Great video Josh , Perfect !!

Have you tried Motion Pro?
I need to connect it to the carb !
Why'd you stop ?
So do they make new ones that actually fit correctly?

I can only advise for you to buy OEM parts. All.twist throttle parts are still sold by Honda
@@VintageHondaMinis I was able to figure it out .... thank you for the reply
Does anyone have the link to the parts
You should use Vaseline
I started using cable lubricant. Slippery stuff.
@@VintageHondaMinis grease has water in it Vaseline doesn't
Too much talking i guess😁😁😁👍👍👍👍
