I don't use medit. Can I still use their or someone else's model builder? I would like to print a 3D model of patient's teeth. Is there a program or 3D printer you recommend?
@@JoonKimDMD Yes their model builder is totally open and can be used by anyone with any scanner. Just download their software, Medit Link, and sign up for an account.
hi mate! very interesting; some questions: about the production flow; 1st --> cad /3d model: how can you prepare it? using which software? I think it is very difficult to make the correct dental body using a parametric CAD; maybe you have to use non-parametric CAD, create STL file and transform it in STEP file? Please, I am very curious to know this info. Thank you!
The way the scans are based in the Medit model app you do not need to print with supports. Print the base directly on the platform. Saves a lot of time and mess.

What type of resin it is? Can you add fillers or fibers to make it stronger?
This resin: formlabs.com/store/materials/model-resin/
Yes fillers are commonly added by companies to increase strength

Very easily using Medit Model Builder or exocad. Many scanners now come with software to enable creating models from a scan.
@ thank you very much indeed friend 😊

Direct to the platform is certainly one way to do it. Or with rafts and supports. Both have pros and cons!
Can you give an idea about the cost to set up 3d printing for denture & crown at personal dental chamber
