Hey 👋 that song 🎵
the most underrated band ever. have seen them 5 times. incredible live
The crazy part is how he’s still going early bands from early 90s . Just perfect
Played this first song in light on my school bus today! Showing these kids what real music is
What perfect opener.
Damn he can play !! And the band too lol
That guitar solo is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard in my near 50 years.
Ih Phoenix my sister (a newbie) leaned over after Thornley's solo for In Fair Light and said "is that Eddie Van Halen or something?" LOL. She was unprepared for the level of virtuosity unleashed upon her.
I feel like that song is a tribute to another Canadian band. Red Rider. Listen to “Light In the Tunnel”. Especially the guitar part.
Ian is one of the best singers in rock today, his voice has matured so much since those early days just like fine wine.
Front row as well. Was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Gave me the feels like when I have gotten to see I Mother Earth in the past.
seen them in Sudbury last yr been listening to them for 25 yrs now.... the best!!!
Não conhecia. Ouvi no deezer, e já fiquei chapado. Muito foda.
Precis chegar pra valer aqui no Brasil.
Os caras são muito bons.
Abraço aqui do Brsil.
Cidade : Belo Horizonte.
A capital do rock no Brasil.
Front row last night. From a fellow canuck, you melted our faces off! Cheers boys!
Awesome footage!I attended the Halifax show back in November. My phone didn't pick up the vocals very well
In the best way possible Ian's voice sounds even more like Chris Cornell's now. He'd be the only person capable of filling in if Soundgarden ever did another show.
Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you for your service!!!! This is amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it! I had no idea of the impact of this band until now. I’m new to their music
Sensacional, venham para o Brasil.
Was at the show right behind the sound guys. Best I’ve ever heard BW. Thanks for posting this.
Portland knows the words! Good job!!
Can’t wait to see them again. ✌️
Just Incredible! I had the pleasure of seeing the original lineup in the late 90's at the Grand Theatre in Sudbury and my God what a stellar performance, the sound, their writing and lyrics are top notch! After the concert I ran out to the spot by their tour bus was and Ian Thornley walks out the door and he was kind enough to talk with me and give a couple other people signatures! I remember saying to him "What an awesome performance, thank you!!!". He took the time to speak with me and being a budding musician myself that was priceless! I shook his hand and walked home on such a high! Thank you Ian for taking the time to speak with me and of course thanks to the band and all who contribute to making Big Wreck possible, you have made such a positive impact on so many people out there myself included and I can't thank you enough :) Bless you and everyone listening
I was at this show.....they are in good form....totally blew me away
wow. thanks for sharing this
You bet!
Man... "In Fair Light" sounds absolutely killer live!!!
Awesome show!
Thanks for the footage sKiP sToNe 👍🏼👍🏼
Annotated too! Bravo Skip!!!
I didn't recognize the song Daniel Greaves does during The Oaf, but apparently it's REM? Great show in Nanaimo but venue acoustics sucked a bit. So happy to see them live. Thanks for posting.
It was R.E.M.’s “Hairshirt” from their Green album. I added the time stamp in. Thank you 🙏🏻 for the heads up
Used to drink at Daniel Greaves' bar in Toronto. Motel on Queen St. West. Great little bar with even better music.
This was my first time seeing him play.
Albatross!!!
Simplesmente fantástico. Banda sensacional , Ian canta pra karalho, toca pra karalho.
Venham fazer um som no Brasil, em Bh City. Aqui o rock tá na vêia.
Ouvi a poucos dias no deezer, e pesquisei sobre a banda e integrantes.
Muito foda.
Já sou fã.
Amazing band especially live
Such a great band. Incredible. Thanks for shooting the whole concert
Just awesome
Thank you
Sweet!!❤
Thank you so much for filming this. I had to miss the show due to being sick. This is one of my favorite bands ever. I really hope they come back!
I just discovered them last year. I was filming it for a friend that couldn’t go, too. Looks like it’s helped more ways than one.
Seems like the plexi shields for the cymbals aren’t quite up to the task. Great video though.
I think even Sekou would watch this and say “Holy Hell with the cymbals!!!” 😂
If Soundgarden ever reforms Ian would be a perfect fill in for Chris
Can you please tell these guys to get to Australia?!! Thank you for sharing!! Love every track!! Just curious, seen many bands over 40 years...why does Sekou have those discs on his drumkit?
You might drop that tidbit on their socials. I’m just a fan like you.
No Summerlong?! best song on the album
Yes. Great song.
So Chris Cornell and Eddie Van Halen made a love child?
Whoever's playing the drums is pretty bad
You mean badass, right?
