I’m still not understanding how to get the nutsert to tighten. I’ve been trying for 30 minutes

It will never get completely tight. You just have to go far enough for it to sandwich itself in the hole. They say the nine complete turns cause that’s how many revolutions it takes for it to sandwich down.
