Such a pretty village. Anything medieval is fascinating to me, be it villages, castles ( I am a bit castle obsessed to be honest) and the history of it. I noticed Rose Cottage is no longer pink. I looked up some pictures of it, because the link in your description didn`t work for me. Could be because I`m not in the UK, but that`s alright. I just noticed it was pink in the pictures I saw and it`s white now. Lovely walk, i really enjoyed it. 🙂
Hi, Eva. Glad you enjoyed this walk. Anything medieval is interesting. Did you try copying and pasting the link into your browser? I will recheck it just incase something is missing. That is strange regarding the change in colour of the cottage...it was pink on Sunday. For some reason I assumed you lived in either Gloucestershire or Oxfordshire, probably because you seemed to know Stanton really well. Many thanks. ~ OAAW
@@OutandaboutWalking Haha, it was pink on Sunday? Then maybe i need to get my eyes checked! It looks white to me in the video. 🧐 Oh dear... Yes i did put the link in the browser, but once on the site, it won`t let me watch the video. By the way, I wonder how many 'Rose Cottages' there are in the UK. It seems to be a popular name for a cottage. I did a lot of research, deciding which village would be ideal for my book, that`s why I feel i know Stanton quite well. I even see it in my dreams! Generally, I just love the villages and their history, the architecture and character. It`s unique in the world, absolutely gorgeous but unfortunately i don`t live there. I`m in The Netherlands.
@Eva.Karinae ha, I see 👀🤣. I wonder if videos on the ITV website are set so that only they can be viewed from the UK. Netherlands are beautiful, been many there many times, loved Vondelpark especially 😍. Cotswolds sure are inspirational, perfect for getting the creativity flowing.
@Eva.Karinae I think that could well be the case sadly. It is such a shame as I was inspired to do this walk because of the interview with the owner of Rose Cottage.
Hey OAAW~ What an interesting departure from the Cotswolds! Thank you for taking us on this walk. I love all the benches! I found myself imagining what it would be like to bench-hop in high season with a nice coffee or tea and people-watch. One of my favorite things to do, especially on vacation / holiday. 👏🏻 I hope you are well and had a good weekend.
Hi, Cheryl. Really good to hear from you. Hope all is well & you had a good weekend too. We do love the Cotswolds but it is nice to change it up a bit now and again. What is better than a bench to sit on? a bench under a tree :) and I recall just how much you love a bench under a tree, I always think of you whenever I see them. Definitely nice to just sit, chill and watch the world go by especially on a barmy summer’s day. Many thanks & all the best to you. ~ OAAW
@@OutandaboutWalking Nice weekend, thank you. Lots of rain, which I like better than snow. But we don’t get much snow these last several years. Oddly enough I find that disturbing. But I don’t ever find Spring disturbing…. 😉
@cherylb6755 coincidentally the next upload is a rainy walk but at night, quite a relaxing one I must add. We don’t get the snowfall that we used to get here years ago in the Shire. Spring is a welcomed site after what seems like too much constant cold weather.

@Eva.Karinae ha, I see 👀🤣.
I wonder if videos on the ITV website are set so that only they can be viewed from the UK.
Netherlands are beautiful, been many there many times, loved Vondelpark especially 😍.
Cotswolds sure are inspirational, perfect for getting the creativity flowing.
@@OutandaboutWalking It`s possible ITV is like the BBC Iplayer that is also only available within the UK.
I hope you are well and had a good weekend.
~ OAAW

Nice weekend, thank you.

Yes! To all. 👏🏻
Понравились ваши видеопрогулки. Но пожалуйста, перестаньте переводить камерой через небо. У кого вистюбилярный аппарат не очень, ощущают полет на аттракционе и желание очистить желудок.

Hello. Thank you for your comment & support. Sorry to hear that the sky pans are disturbing for you. Often I use this technique when there is something I wish to hide...like parked cars or simply setting up for a reveal shot. Maybe when you see the image starting to drift upwards skip forward on the video player about 20 - 40 seconds. Hope that can help you (I reguarly suffer with Labrinthitis also by the way).
Thanks again.
@@OutandaboutWalkingI close my eyes usually 😅
@user-oo2po6to2f that is another way of doing it :).
Have a good Sunday.
Nice 🥰👍

@@OutandaboutWalking I was excited and all set to embark on my clinical walking study for stroke survivors, the day I was to have my initial consult, I fell, transferring from my wheelchair to recliner..tearing my Achilles tendon and suffering a bad sprain.

@@SusanCrone22 oh no! That is awful! So sorry to hear that. I’ve had my fair share of Achilles trouble over the years - my right side has been operated on three times. Do you know what grade the tear is? My thoughts are with you, Susan.
Seems like a ghost town, no one out, no lights on within, only birds chattering.
I've been reading about the workhouses, horrendous slavery.
It is horrifying what people went through & endured.
