Additionnal info: Ski gear is greet (with the air filet under the arms and those next to the knee are great.) This winter I'm gonna try ziploc bag into my boots. Wool is your best friend outdoor, polyester still good enough, but avoid coton. 😎 great content (I'm gonna sart hiking business and transport for the doggy daycar to my girlfriend) Thanks for the tips
Interesting! Is the ziplock to keep your feet dry? Let me know how it works for you! My fear is that it would make my feet sweat, but I definitely want to hear how it goes
Great video sweetie.. I wear a walking boot brand called Salomon .. expensive but totally worth it. I wear fleece layers and a base layer and north face waterproof jackets.
I've worn Salomon as a summer boot before! Very good. The ones I had were designed for summer, so I never tried them out in the winter, but the brand is great
Thank you so much for the boot suggestions !... I just started a dog walking business, and I ... Yup... I chose to start right in November.. ( Smart) :-/. So, thanks a lot for the info's .. I'll def try that glove thing, like... TODAY.. xxx
First winter dog walker here :) Minnesota! Do I'm definitely going to get those boots you suggested. I'm walking in a pair now that are just too heavy. I have some fast moving pups I walk!
I'm in autumn currently, or fall as some people call it, and i started dog walking in the middle of the summer holidays about 4 or 5 weeks ago, no clients yet but I'm going to post some more posters and flyers soon if you have any suggestions for getting clients btw im 12 and the max dogs is 3
This is ALWAYS a problem in the winter, because they often get wet and muddy! I steer clear from mud as much as I can. I keep towels in my car and wipe the dogs paws down before they get in the car (otherwise the heat from the car will melt the snow and make their paws extra wet. I also ask the owners to keep a little tub or bowl inside by the door with towels so that I can wet and wipe their paws to remove mud. Usually the dogs won't need a full bath (thankfully because that would take forever), but washing the paws will do!
@@InRuffCompany that's great thank you. I'm hoping to start my business in the UK soon. Abit nervous but your videos have given me the confidence and determination to get going. Thank you for that Xxx
Good question! I am vegan, and a lot of the winter gear that I have was purchase before I began vegan. They're past the point of being able to donate/sell, but also not yet garbage (and I'm definitely not interested in wasting clothing), so, for the time being, I'm running them to the ground and then will purchase vegan-wear after :) Any suggestions for brands? I've been looking at veggie trekkers for boots, I've seen great reviews!
Thanks for great tips. I'm preparing myself for my first winter as a dogwalker here in Norway.
keep the doggos warm too
Snow pants :-) Thank you, I will be getting them.
Im a dog walker and enjoy winter walks more than summer walking. Mud gets frozen, dogs and myself dont overheat.

Yes it is to keep my feet dry, but it's not 100% effective. I put a little sock to take te sweat, a wool sock over it and the ziploc in the boots.
Hey Jackie! I've put a handwarmer in my pocket with my phone before and it helps prevent it from dying!
YES! So happy to hear 2 ppl mention this. I'll definitely try it!

Hi. I got question for you.. 😊 I see you are vegan. Do you wear vegan (animal friendly) winter clothes? What brands do you use?
Good question! I am vegan, and a lot of the winter gear that I have was purchase before I began vegan. Great video! Can you put your phone with one of those toe warmer thingy’s in a coat pocket to keep from dying?
Actually, that could work! Thanks!
put your phone in a bag with hand or toe warmers
