When it was revealed Kuja was still alive, I didn’t know what to think. Would there be more? A 1v1 with Zidane like FF7? I didn’t expect what we got but I’m glad we got it. Kuja had spent most of this game being a fairly standard bad guy so I never guessed he might change. So to see those final, quiet moments where him and Zidane can finally share a moment together. One of Kuja realizing all he had done wrong, realizing the reason for life. Even if it was too late, that final moment of redemption and that final moment of being in the presence of someone who still cared for him even for all he did bad. It’s such an unexpectedly bittersweet moment.
That scene had me choked up. Zidane just sitting there with him in his last moment. While Kuja could have died alone with nothing more than the thought of being useless. Zidane just sat there with him in the depths of hell. No crazy monologue or anything, just reminding Kuja that at least one person thinks he's useful, which defied Kuja's belief about himself. If that wasn't enough, Kuja could not say he died alone with Zidane sitting right beside him. I fuckin' love this game so much.

I remember when Zidane took off that robe, I was crying and flapping my arms around like an idiot. This ending is one of the very best in the FF series. Also I swear ViVi is the true protagonist. This felt like his story.

The part when Zidane went down the Iifa Tree, he's not in cinematic/cutscene model compare to background. And there, similar scene of escaping Evil Forest's petrifying

when I pause I can make it fast or normal, you can activate 9999 damage per hit, no encounters and also unlimited gils and abilities all learnt but dream on getting the platinum because 1000 jumps
Actually, if I remember... works like this: finding all zodiacs, you will be asked to collect another one... Opphiucus, or something like that, in Quan's Dwelling... doing so, deliver it to Stella, than, she gives you Cinna's Hammer. With that, finish the game, and you can get the secret final.

Had to come here to watch the ending because my game crashed on me. Yes I did beat the game. Yes I installed the Moguri mod. No deleteing the mbg116.bytes file doesnt work.
It has no mention during the story so i agree that it comes out of nowhere, but seeing it as the counterpart to the crystal does give it meaning. This game is all about life and death. The crystal is life, Necron is death. Still, i would have loved at least some foreshadowing.
