i've been trying to learn how to do this for months in preparation for my first ever turkey hunt, and this tutorial blew everything ive learned so far out of the water. Thank you SO much.
Very helpful! Im a 13 year old boy just trying to do this call. this video helped me learn to use a mouth call correctly within just one hour. I have tried many other videos, but this one was the most helpful.
Very good video. In fact, one of the most effective instructional videos that I’ve seen. He takes on a Turkey’s persona when making the last sequence of calls.
This is by far the best how to video I can find on using a mouth call. I went from not being able to making a sound to being fairly good at calling. THANKS!!!!!
That was the best lesson I have seen for me and my son,!!, New to the turkey hunting, 1st hunt this Saturday 4/14/2018 ...Thank you!!! well done:) Old guy n son ..Greeley Colorado
My first year hunting turkeys. After watching Video 1 I watched your second video nightly for 3 weeks and practiced for 1 hour. Called those big toms and jakes in every day. Finally took the shot at 40 yards on a tom with an 11 inch beard and 1 1/2 inch spurs and missed. LMAO Of course not. This made fantastic smoked snack sticks and lots of them. Thank you
I think the off-putting vibe that sooo many people are noticing is his superficial sincerity, like, you got it buddy? but i still have to move on, so on to the next call 3:33
You are probably pressing your tongue on the latex too hard, try relaxing your tongue but don't forget how to make that high pitched sound... It's good to know how to do that for ki ki runs
Im confused ?? you taught to say words at the beginning of video but at the end when you did the scenario of all calls, I did not see you say one word,,??
mcrout1 Its because hes been doing it for along time so he doesnt need to do that. he has the air pressure in the mouth/ the right amount of air to use memorized
I don't understand why he chose the raspiest and I mean RASPIEST call to show beginners how to use a mouth call. I mean, if you UA-cam turkey hen calls, they HARDLY sound like that on a regular basis. Also, listen to all of the other callers on youtube. I appreciate these instructional videos, but the diaphragm choice was bad in this case.
Simple, clear and concise. Quite possibly the best instructive turkey call video out there. Great job.

One time you should ever putt is to get a bird to stick its head up. Yelp to locate cut and purr to call them In.
That shirt.
I don’t even know what to think 🤔
So straightforward and simple- then....You KILL HIM! Ok? lol wth!
I bet this guy gets all the girls
what brand is that call
I can use a mouth call now but am very uncomfortable
Whoever wrote the subtitles needs their hearing checked.
Avoid the putt, thats the bird being unsure.
I'm having trouble with all my calls being to high pitch how do I fix?
