I wish Sony would give sly some love, we got a bunch of other remakes. Poor sly, the original trilogy was so good. Thieves in time didn’t feel right and he’s been ignored since.
Sony really need to put him back in the spotlight, it’s been too long. Seems like the movie/series they were planning has also since been cancelled too. Sad feels.

This was the first 3D game I ever played, Kingdom hearts was obviously the second. But hot damn this is my childhood!

After long last!
Before Kingdom Hearts took over my life, Sly Cooper reigned over my childhood when I was little. I still remember when my mom randomly pulled the game out and gave it to me when I was four or five. It was my favorite. Then I got onto Sly 2, the complete change in gameplay blew my mind. Playing as Sly, Bentley AND Murray? Amazing to me! As was the bosses taking two episodes each except for Dimitri. And my parents and I always loved playing as Bentley because when he ran he looked like he had to pee, it cracked us up. The twist that Nyla ended up being the main villain got me. Sly 3's red and blue lensed 3D moments were ultimate eye candy for me, as was all of the new features implemented. I was happy that we could finally pickpocket as Bentley and Murray, and I loved playing as Carmelita and shooting her shock pistol, and the other playable characters were fun too, as were all of the minigames. I think the two parts that still stick out the most to me are the biplane game and the second pirate world where you were on the ship. I remember spending quite a bit of time fighting the squid as The Panda King. The ending of Sly 3 made me ecstatic with Sly and Carmelita ending up together, cause they were the first couple I ever shipped. Sly 4, or Thieves in Time, was my other Kingdom Hearts III, in the sense that I waited what felt like my whole life for it. It was well worth the wait too. I loved playing as the ancestors and time traveling, Riochi Cooper stands out to me the most. And that cliffhanger ending with Sly being lost in time, I'm still waiting for that to be resolved! Where, or in this case, when, is Sly?
Literally Jared has good taste in games. Other than playing KH to death, I also used to play the heck out of the Sly games too
I'm gonna be doing a no death run on these games they were a big part of my childhood I really hope you enjoy them as much as it do

I remember sitting in my friends living room taking turns playing through this till 3 am then finally beating Owlsly or was it Clockwork Owl? Either way, it’s right up there with Tak and the Power of JuJu and Cookies and Cream for me in epic PS2 nostalgia.

Also, how long did it take for you to find out the in-game reason that neither Sly, Bentley, or Murray can swim is because it's canon that none of them ever learned?

Litty game I used to play this on my ps2 when I was a kid but every time I went to the final world the game would freeze, I never knew what happened at the end until I bought it on ps3 way back when for a blast in the past so I’m glad I finally know what happened, also I never took care of my discs so that’s why ha also gigablast is way to fast to be first it’s concerning

Ever since going back to the Sly games I’ve been disappointed with how there was no Sly 5. Then there was hype for the movie that went gone, then the series. Sony needs to bring him back especially since we got Ratchet and Clank’s return.
I’ll also say out of all the Sly games, Sly 4 games the cake for me. It was cool to see his ancestor and see what they’re all about, gameplay wise and Rioichi is my all time best boi.
