Kasey!! Maybe you could try drawing only using highlighters! From my personal experience, maybe use watercolour or just generally thick paper, as they will ruin normal paper.
Just in case no one told you, the stick is not a crayon, but watercolour pigment in stick form. Break a piece off in a pan or palette and use it as you would with watercolour. Keep creating 💛💜💙
Not sure if you knew, Madame Golden, but there is actually a quarterly ArtSnacks Watercolour themed box. I know you delve into everything nowadays, but something about it just reminds me of you! ♡
So adorable! That watercolor stick swatch looks like a flooofy dog lifting it leg to .... well ya know 😂 Always love the cat paradise paintings 🤌 does the soul good.
I would love to see a video of your tips for traditional artists! Like hpw to clean your brushes, maybe some painting tips, or whatever you find important I think this would be useful for many beginner artists who you inspire (like me!)
Hullo Kasey, I am still a fan, so I’m glad you gave real gouache a chance! Acrylgouache is just flat acrylic paint. Unless you can re-wet the paint it is not watercolor or gouache! The fact that it has acrylic as its medium is the true proof of its origins. Gum Arabic is one peculiar medium and has been used for centuries in many things besides creating paints! I have enjoyed watching your videos and seeing your obsession with kittens and cats! Thank you for sharing all of your ideas with us. Please take care, be safe, enjoy the rest of your day.
I got that box too, and I was SO impressed with that pen. I used it a million different ways and the nib hasn't frayed, which is what usually happens quickly with super thin long brush nibs like that.
I am right there with you, I love using watercolor but only like using acrylic gouache. I tried the jelly gouaches and designer gouache and couldn’t get into it. But the second I tried the more permanent stuff, loved it.
Damn..i love how cartoonist you made the character!!! 💓💓💓💓💓💓 Your artstyle is impresive me everyday ...i love how you support small business and your voice is so sweet.....
So you know how you used to draw a lot of ants, and now you draw a lot of cats? Maybe you should draw a weird ant-cat hybrid to sort of connect the two.
I’m kinda a art person who hates school but loves using the stuff for projects… like the ‘rating different brands of crayons’ video, could you do one for colored pencils?
Ooh kasey I have a question! Do you have a gouache palette? If so how do you maintain it so it doesn’t mold? I haven’t found any good videos and i don’t wanna ruin my paints
@@MightyMyna I KNOW RIGHT, yeah i found out cause im trying to fill this airtight palette i got. I just want to know what maintenance or preservatives i should use
If it’s a dry palette, just let it dry well. If it’s a wet palette, accept that mold could happen, don’t have a large amount of paint in case, and use purified water.
I honestly try to stay away from most pre-made watercolor boxes/sets. They seem to always have that hideous viridian hue green color. Overall, still turned out really well!
Kasey's camera seems to have ADHD, perhaps a change in diet or routine, or maybe therapy (or meds if it can get a diagnosis) might help with the focusing issues.

For someone who’s known for her ants, you draw a lot of cats. I love it.
The Daniel Smith stick is actually just watercolor lol I love them coz they're more affordable than the tubes
You say you're recently cat obsessed, i don't remember a time where you weren't 🤨
Great video Kasey 🙏💖

This was a really nice sketchbook spread.
I’m always perplexed by your ability to come up with ideas to draw!
Great video like always :)
Love your videos I’ve been watching you for so long hope you have a wonderful weekend:) 🍀🍀🍀🍀
Yay!! The notification that I love ❤
kitty mountain looks good, slightly menacing with the black kitties lol
Blue blob looks like the "hash slinging slasher" from SpongeBob SquarePants
The blue blob looks like a wombat. Love from Australia.
I loved the blob cats and the last bag sketch piece! They look so cute and the mountain of cats was awesome 💙💚💙💚

Lov your art kaseyy 🙈🙈❣
It’s the exclusive beach club for cats who actually *like* water! They’re adorable.
I love these boxes !! The final piece is QUITE amazing. :)
it would be so cool to see a video where you turn blobs (from paint/ink/etc) into different creatures
That's fun. love both spreads. =)
CATS!!!!!!
Who isn't obsessed with cats?! 🤣✨
I thought that the ears on the green cat were long cartoony eyes!
If you every need different cat inspiration have a look at my kitties. Great art as usual
I just saw one of your other videos a few minutes ago!
Oh my GOUACHE!!
So you know how you used to draw a lot of ants, and now you draw a lot of cats? Maybe you should draw a weird ant-cat hybrid to sort of connect the two.
Some of the blobs look like trolls from Hilda

Wait gouache gets mold? 🌟The more you know🌟

@@kydkacani wish i could give some advice but I have never worked with gouache. Good luck on your info hunt!

Maybe you could put watercolors in the little case thing to make a travel watercolor set
New Vid yay >w
No more drawing prompt book?
Love your channel
I find it funny that you unconsciously made the red into a knife shape 💀
I need that pen!
Can you make poodles once?
I’m a poodlemama. Foppe is her name.
Greetings from Holland ❤️🍀
I love when the camera acts like a brat. lol

Kasey here is how to fix ur camera problem :
Snap ur fingers and say
FOCUS SUKA loudly
Hiiiii
Cats cats cats I love all the the cat you’ve ever drawn hope your obsession lasts forever
What was the name of the pen liner in this?
I had an idea what if you did a sea/lake siren series idk if you have done a sea siren series not mermaids sirens
POV: you talk to your camera!!
They could have given a better quality gouache then that. The paint looks so streaky and chalky.
Do orange
I love your piece! Your work is the kind of cute I can get behind. That gouache looks like tempera. I'll bet it has a ton of filler.
First
SAY NO MORE
Misshapen cats.
I have not watched any of the video before commenting this.
meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meo
you dont use watercolor pencils to their full potential.... and the stick you just put in pans, its just solid instead of a tube
Tbh those cats kinda looked like tigers to me? So in that regard you did make cats! Some big cats :D
