Great tutorial. To avoid stressing the wheel with the amps too much, some eucs are more delicate and you could even blow a mosfet, it is a good idea to allow the wheel to breath between balance sessions resting the wheel or ride it gently a few seconds before getting back to the balancing.
Good work! I spent a lot of time in my kitchen riding around when it was freezing outside. Really helped me get better balance. I got a lot of practice turning sharp corners and backing up.
Gezzz. I'm just getting started and I'm still learning how to stay on the darn thing. I haven't fallen but I'm not very fast either. It's amazing watching to do that.
Excellent advise that's what I used to practice on my old peddel powered unicycle to obtain both the balance.and the ability to shift it frontwards, backwards....to the sides to keep the stationary focal point and additional power into your leading or trailing peddel.
I'm a relative novice, but thought I'd give this exercise a try in my hotel room as you suggested. Imagine my surprise when I received the bill to replace a flat screen TV, a chair and two lamps. I didn't even get any enjoyment out of it. Although, I suppose it could have been more fun if I'd had my wheel with me.
Does it help if you look up at the camera unlike what is shown that helps balance? Ive noted how different it feels looking straight vs looking down even a littly bi while still learning how to ride.
Cheers Andy. I'm sure lots of riders do this already. But I think using it as a little skills session when not being able to ride due to time restrictions or weather etc. Be good to smash it out at home .

Thanks been doing these exercises in my living room and my EUC riding has improved 100% plus no need for sit ups this hits the core muscles I have a V10f so doing your freestyle tricks in your other video is a lot harder twisted my inner knee muscles trying those one legged tricks and spins that you do. Here the real kicker I also tried doing those tricks on a gotway plus it was trying to move a mack truck around that really put a lot of stress on my knees and ankles maybe it’s because I’m only 150 and 57 I’m thinking of getting a V8 like you got or is it possible these tricks can be done on these two units but you have to be a bigger guy I guess
Hi Robert, thats great to hear mate. Its such a simple and fun way to gain that balance . Just be careful not to over heat the wheel. Which has never happened to me but you never know. Doing tricks with the V10 is tough. Its so heavy and i find the v5 the best size for flat land style spins and tricks cause of the small 14 inch wheel. But the V8 is an awesome allrounder i think. I still have that wheel and its going strong.
Hi, was out riding the monster today had a good time uploading the video now, then I got on the V8 and I felt like a newbie can't believe my balance was so bad on the V8 after riding the monster

Hi Neal I’ve got me new EUC never rid one be for been riding for about 2 and a half hours I’m up and riding but to day had to stop as me leg was score and started to get a scab on me right leg where it rubs against the EUC any tips mate
Hi Brian, Thats good to hear your getting the time in on the wheel. What wheel do you have ? Regarding sore legs and feet etc that tends to go after a week or so. I find once your able to relax whilst riding all that tension thats created from learning will go and you will become a lot more relaxed and shouldnt have those problems. With the rubbing. Has the wheel got some good padding or do you find your pants are rubbing. I do have little bald bits on my calfs from all the riding haha. Keep at it mate and just try and get some stretching in before and after too.

Yesterday I was riding x8, when someone overweight got on to try , he fell two times to left side of the left tire, putting all his weight on the left tire, few minutes I noticed the tire has been completely lose air, making it not able to ride. I want to know is it protection by Airwheel, or the guy has damaged the tube of my tire inside, or what should I do? And I did go off-road before that, I did not if I had stepped on something that gradually deflated the tire, but it only became visible when the big guy messed up with the wheel ?
Yeah i used to to circles at the lights also. Then i started to try this move instead and i noticed so much improvement in my balance duding my riding. Takes a little getting used to but its great to do when its raining outside etc. Just to jump on your wheel and do a little balance session is a lot of fun.
Instead of goen in circles, or holding on to the pole just stop & remount, I found that mounting a wheel is one maneuver that should be mastered, especially at lights or crosswalks, its so tough to land that off foot, inline with the other one, but fear not with practise comes confidence and with that, you will persevere. : )

good tutorial neal... this does put strain on the battery though.. can I ask are you using a wireless mic? how you doing that voice recording when the camera is so far away... keep the good work up...
I haven't seen any stress issues on my wheel after doing this for months now. Makes a difference when the battery is low. So full is better. I'm recording audio separately. Into a mic strapped to the inside of my helmet.
@@NonStopNeal your doing well the re the battery I've heard alot of comments re battery drains whilst going back & forth like that... I dont Pacifically do it so wouldn't know myself just saying..
@@kevinkeegan7211 I've seen a lot of people do the "silky worm" (as Neal calls it XD) and it seems the biggest issue is that it will heat up the control board inside, but usually it takes a while before it gets serious.
