I love my warrior and it only has the big air kit and an exhaust. Pushes me off the seat. Had to get a back rest and I'm 300lbs. Fucking great bike. Aluminum frame. Masterful build quality. Just excellent.
@@hebeb394 at that time the bike had high compression pistons, speedstar exhaust, big air kit, power commander5, coils, clutch mods, and a smaller front pulley. best run that night was 12.003. my buddy on the 109 had a big air kit, cobra autotune, and his stock exhaust drilled out. as i write this i now have a dual autotune for the pcv and the bike pulls harder....buuut he lost over 60 lbs so I bet he could take me in the quarter now!
@@pulsator2199 hahaha that's awesome man, both seem like really fun bikes for sure. I used to own a vtx1800F and it was a torque monster for sure. Got to ride my pop's vrod too but it's been a while since I've had a cruiser. I'm looking at the raider, m109r, vrod muscle, and another vtx1800f. I wouldn't mind owning all of them lol I had a 2nd gen vmax as well and hands down one of the most fun I've ever had on two wheels but I got tired of seeing the fuel light every 65 miles 😬 😂 have fun man and keep the rubber side down lol
I have a 110 warrior and it smokes the m109, but it has pr racing cams, oversized valves, cnc ported heads, speedstar ecu, big fuel pump and injectors and numerous other mods.
I own a m109r. These always come down to the rider. They are very closely matched bikes. I think a warrior rider was just alot better at getting off the line.
That's my M109r, my buddy is definitely better off the line. He's also 80-100 pounds lighter then I am, so that makes a big difference. I still haven't mastered good launches at the track, only gone twice and the surface is totally different then on the street. My best time that night was 12.1 seconds at 109mph.
I have a warrior. There is not another cruiser on the street that has a chance against me. I would say the warrior driver doesn't understand that the power in a 1700cc vtwin is from low rpm torque. High rpm take offs might give you an intial jump, but after that you've lost. Look at the torque and HP curves. He's no dummy, he could do better. I think.....mine had been built so that may be the reason that any cruiser is a joke in 3 seconds.
in an eight mile the m109 is no match. m109s cant shift haha. and hell no they werent equal haha. my bike is modded pretty well (hc pistons, intake, tuner, coils, exhaust and some other lil things) and his is mostly stock (cobra tuner, intake, and over a grand in his transmission) and the weight difference alone... if he had the money into his bike that i do into mine...hed be with me at the 1/8th and id be checking out his taillight at the 1/4
@@pulsator2199 The transmission on the early 109's were clunky, but they shift just fine. Like I said, this bikes problem was the rider. You can clearly see and hear he was waaaay short shifting the bike. The M109R is a high-11-second bike with a 110mph+ trap speed and a 7,500RPM redline. If this guy was shifting much above 5,500RPM, I would be surprised. A Warrior on the other hand, run's high-12's at about 103mph Your bike is modded, so without time slips for both its impossible to say how much faster yours was than stock.. Take the win...you earned it. Just know that stock for stock....these two bikes are not comparable.
If you are letting the clutch out while the green is already on, you are sleeping on the light! Lol First run had both sleeping. I have owned both a Raider and a 109 and the 109 has more power. My stock Raider outran a slightly modded Warrior too. Still, miss my Raider more for the handling and comfort over the 9. Also, that 109 rider cannot launch, otherwise that front wheel would be off the ground.
why not? with an angle grinder and a welder anything is possible haha. there's a warrior with two engines in it. I'd slap a turbo on before I'd mess with that much modification though.
I am glad I finally seen a drag race with the M109 and the warrior The Warrior got him everybody I've talked to says the M109 will outrun the war you but in this case it was a tight race but the war you got it ride safe this was a good video it's a shame didn't have the posted time and speed
won every one but one actually. given 50 more feet my buddies m109 would have got me every time. hes reeling me in hard right at the line every time. my best that night was 12.003. his best was 12.3 i believe

hmm 109 inch - 84inch no korrect . :(((( fake sons ...
what? m109r 109ci. roadstar warrior 102ci and 200 lbs lighter
🤘WARRIOR🤘
M109R every time but I loved the bird in the last pass lmfao!
m109 only one time. out of like 12 haha. but 50 more feet and it would have been the other way around!
@@pulsator2199 Because the 109 rider sucked at launching
The 109 comes on hard when the warrior lets off the throddle.
the 109 is comming hard even with me on the throttle at the top end haha
I’m pretty impressed by how well the RS warrior held up against the Suzuki M109
i won all but one race out of about 12. but my bike has way more mods than his. not to mention rider and bike ive got him by at least 200 lbs.
@@pulsator2199 what all mods have you done man? Also quickest pass with mods?

Beat the rider, not the bike. The Warrior is no match for an M109R, all things being equal....and in this case, they weren't.
Some low 11second cammed high compression warriors out there....great bike to hot rod. Some class records in 9s.

Since racers are watching this. With chassis modifications. Whould it be possible to put a raider motor into a warrior?
