This is from their live stream virtual show last August. Very emotional song, especially for drummer Marata Tamu. She just came back from having her baby, and they turned their mics to sing to her here. Saki asks her if she can get through the song, that's in the interlude, where she nods. This has me in tears, same as Lovebites Epilogue, and Band Maid Daydreaming. They just posted a live performance e outside venue, of song Oiran, though no crowd yet. Right now, theses ladies, Band Maid, and Lovebites are my concert live wish list. But yes, this songs interlude, is back stage things, during the live stream. Hazukis birthday, etc. I love the head banging rock, with happier, upbeat feel.

One of the reasons they were using studio tracks over live footage for some of their songs was because of sound problems from their online concerts. Watching the concert during the streaming sounded fine but something went very wrong when the files were uploaded to UA-cam. Their is a live version of Raitei on UA-cam now that sounds so much worse than it did during the stream. There was some type of compression issue that killed the sound. They are an independent band that is doing everything themselves, so some issues can be expected. Compare that to the sound of the live version of Oiran just uploaded from a show produced by Show-Ya and you see what they can do live.
Yes this, and also Saki asked fans specifically not to share or react to paid livestreams, partly because they're an unsigned band with an unsigned band's budget, so they use their own livestream footage to make official videos like this one.

The reason why I’m telling you this is because I’d like for you to react to Mary’s Blood Marionette! That song really rocks that has a solo that is amazing! Kinda reminds me of something Judas Priest would do! But yea! It’s one of the best Japanese tunes
Seconded. They've released so much incredible stuff since Marionette, but very little of it is on youtube, so Mary's Blood doesn't get the same amount of love as some of the newer bands, which is just wrong because they're one of the best and have been for a long time.
Why did Mayu write this song after her setbacks? It was Hazuki's B'day when they performed. It was the return of Tamu after her time off with her newborn. all facing Tamu as they sing the song!!.. soooooo many layers to this song and its just beautiful. They did an aweome job with the editing of the vid to show how close the girls are and the emotion that flows between them. Just a fantastic song and a superior vid!! I luv this band!!! xxxa
Nice reaction and the use of the album track over the live performance was pretty common in the 60's and 70's music shows (American Bandstand). The only exception that I can remember now was The Midnight Special, it was all live.
Right into the 80s with MTV too. One person commented that the audio from the livestream got screwed up when they re-uploaded it, so they did this. Makes sense
Every time I hear this song or watch the videos/reactions, it just overwhelms me. The impact of the melody, solid tempo, and powerful lyrics combine to form a thing of beauty. I still remember Mayu's reaction while the band played it for the encore of their debut performance back in Jan '22. Man it was heavy and just amazing!

@@RyanMear The Naon Yano performance? If so, then niiice. Tamu also played for Gacharic Spin at that festival because GC’s drummer is pregnant, or just gave birth or something.
@@RyanMear She probably knows all their songs because GC is one of the bigger bands and have been around a long while now And I think she had the sheet music, so that helps. These ladies all know music theory and can read sheet music, most of them can sing really well too. It’s a different world over there with how well they’re educated in their chosen profession, luckily for us they chose music.
