Just bought an EcoFlow Max for home use in case of power cuts this winter and for camping in summer. Things that sold it to me were the long guarantee, 3000 charges which equates to around ten years use and the comprehensive information in the display. It ran my 55” TV and Sky Q box for just under 5 hours last night as a first test so I’m very impressed so far 👍 Great review, your van looks amazing too !
hiya both great info they can be hard these power bank reviews but this is the time of year we need extra power and you have provided some great info ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cheers so much, it’s shocking how little solar our van’s main electrics are drawing in from its 400w panels (especially up North 🤭). An extra power station is essential for peace of mind right?!
Turning sockets on and off Bluetooth / Wi-Fi. Did not know could do that. That sounds really useful. And also something victron could do with doing Watched a few videos now on this stuff. You guys taught me a lot I didn't know! Well done
Aahhhhhh missed you guys.....Ecoflow all there products are just awesome, i've got the delta mini its just wicked, used to have a Jackory but there's no way that was even close to the Ecoflow. The X boost is just a game changer as well. Great review guys
I always look at the specs of a power station before I purchase it and after watching your video. The Delta 2 is the better buy and it is definitely well worth the money.
Great vid, makes you think why have lithium in the back with all the gubbins, when you could have to units, and charge it either from solar on the roof, or as you go via the vehicle 12v system.
Hi, could I use the ecoflow to connect to my van with the EHU cable to run the van's electrics when the leisure battery dies? Bye the way, great video, very informative.
Sorry to bother you but im a barber and eyeing up my first van, looking at ways to power the hairdryer as it consumes alot of power how long did the ecoflow say it would last with the dryer plugged in? Sorry to be a pain!
Hiya, just wanted to say love your videos ☺️...I've just bought a ecoflow delta 2 and I wondered if you could recommend or know of a heater I could use in my camper without it overloading the ecoflow? Cheers 🍻
Thank you so much. Great choice with the EcoFlow, such a great bit of kit! Trouble is, anything that generates heat is typically very energy hungry and no power station will last more than a few hours pumping out power to heat. Have you considered a diesel heater? Can be super cheap to buy, install and run?
@@OurVanTales Hiya, I have a Toyota Alphard, it's petrol, I've just had it converted so was super excited about getting out! 😂 Looked at petrol heaters but not in stock unfortunately at the moment, so it was a fix for for now, I'm sure they will be available in the summer! 😆 Thanks for getting back to me ☺️
Hi Andy great comparison that everyone thinks jackery is the boss when ecoflow has overtaken them on my opinion just wish they weren't so expensive lol🤘🤘🏴🏴🏴
Cheers so much, there’s definitely years of technology growth between the Jackery 1000 and the DELTA 2. They are miles apart now. Be interesting to see what, if anything Jackery have up their sleeve to come back with coz EcoFlow are smashing it with their products 💪🙌
It’s a great bit of kit! In fairness, the Jackery is a good number of years old now by design so it’s obvious this new EcoFlow stuff is way superior. Hoping to get up to Scotland for the festivities & a van meet 🎄🙌
Honestly, the Delta 2 beats the Explorer in almost every aspect of a power station. The best bit is that the Delta 2 is way cheaper than the Explorer 1000.
Same, we bought our Jackery 1000 two years ago when all we expected was a regular battery, and it was fine at the time. It does what it says on the tin BUT now, there is a whole another level of battery that has raised the bar and left them behind.
Great video guys - looking at one of these for my only source of power in my little T5 van - thanks! Best wishes from Brighton, uk ✌️
Cheers Adrian mate, reckon that’s a good choice 🙌
Thanks guys. Will continue following you from South Africa.
Nice one! Cheers so much 🙌

Great video, I love EcoFlow products, if I could afford one I would defiantly get one!
They are definitely leading the competition right now 🙌

No doubt the Delta 2 is the better buy! 🙌
Great vid guys, refreshing review , keep em coming 👊🏻
Cheers Mark 🙌

It’s certainly leaning that way isn’t it. For a lot of people, these power banks are more than adequate 👊🏼
Hello lady n gent, great video, I wonder if an iron would use a lot of power from it ?
Like your van cups , good luck in your new ventures.
Cheers Darren, good question…I’ve no doubt it could successfully run an iron, we just don’t happen to have one 🤭
Very informative i have just ordered the new river for my T5
Nice one…Such great bits of kit! 🙌
Great video Andy 👍👍👍
Cheers guys, see you soon 🤞🙌

Unfortunately, anything that generates heat, tends to drain power rapidly. Depending on the wattage of your dryer, it might only be an hour or two?
@OurVanTales okay thanks for the response! Much appreciated 🙏
Love it
Thank you 🙏🏻

Love all your videos have you got any aspirations for a European trip in the future
Thanks Chris…YES! Europe awaits & we’re coming (just gotta sort a few bits out first 🤭)

Well that's top of my list to Santa, come to think of it where do you you spend Christmas? 🤔🎅🏻

@@OurVanTales not the North Pole then with Mrs santa? Or is it Lyndsey the elf? (Sorry Lyndsey)
🤣 She’s the angel Dave
@@OurVanTales she certainly has all characteristics of an angel, I've got one of those to, we're blessed 🙌
Evening I was just looking at buying a jackery, now you have stopped me. What do you thinks best?
Charge speed, life cycles, warranty and an app…EcoFlow hands down favourite! 🙌
Honestly, the Delta 2 beats the Explorer in almost every aspect of a power station. The best bit is that the Delta 2 is way cheaper than the Explorer 1000.
Yeah! Go figure? It’s such a great bit of kit for the money 🙌
So are you saying the Jackery is crap?
No, the Jackery has been great, we’ve been very happy with it. I’m suggesting that the EcoFlow is WAY better tho 🙌
We can start at the charging speed and go from there. I don't see any advantage coming from the Explorer 1000.
I have to agree Jason
Why not just try out the solar panels to show us what its like in cloudy conditions
Looking at the LCD display alone, I can already judge how the Delta 2 is better than the Explorer 1000.
The DELTA 2’s got so much more to offer than the Jackery 1000 👍
I have the jackery 240. That's all I knew when I first started looking into these. Now I only buy ecoflow and bluetti. Jackery is getting left behind
Same, we bought our Jackery 1000 two years ago when all we expected was a regular battery, and it was fine at the time. It does what it says on the tin BUT now, there is a whole another level of battery that has raised the bar and left them behind.
If you get rid of the old Jack reconfirm this way cheers
It has a temporary new home in another van already I’m afraid mate 😉
@@OurVanTales No problem mate thanks for getting back to me anyway all the best cheers
Great vid. Can I have your jackery? Pleaassse? ❤
Hahaha 🤣 It’s already got a temporary new van home with another I’m afraid Paul mate 🥰
@@OurVanTales I tried 🥲
The Explorer 1000 needs about 6 hours to fully charge while the Delta 2 only needs 80 minutes. Talk about quick charging.
It’s SO rapid by comparison 👍
If u have a spare 1600 pound in the bank lol
🤭 Thankfully they ain’t that much! 😵💫🙌
