Alberta Premier Danielle Smith on the Canada-U.S. relationship and energy

CPAC’s Michael Serapio met with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith at the 2024 summer meeting of Canada’s premiers in Halifax on July 17. They discussed the relationship between the Canada and the United States, mainly in trade and defence, as well as the future of Canada's energy sector.
She also expands on her statement issued earlier in the wake of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, calling on more “progressive” politicians to “dial down” their rhetoric.
