I've voted for a variety of different parties including NDP, Conservative and Independent in the past. I did not vote for Smith this past election but I can tell you she has not disappointed me so far as a leader. I was very wary of her.
I did not agree with all of her talking points but she is making a lot of sense. Keep Alberta going in the right direction Premier Smith! Happy to have you as a premier now. Thank you for your service.
We need more Canadians like you, ones who can be honest, prepared, and willing to see things as they are, not stuck behind partisan ideology! Thank you for sharing, hopefully this will encourage others to share and willing to be open minded.
Generally, unless you join the UCP, you can't choose their leader.
When she was elected I didn't know much about her and during the past few years I was suspicious / weary of conservative politicians in general.
As I started to learn more and as the conservatives got better in communicating their plans, with Pierre Poillievre vs. The old Andrew Sheer way, the message started resonating with me.
Now I see her as one of the best premiers in the country
Possibly a true pragmatist and that suits me.
Too bad we don't see anyone like her in BC, where instead of hope we have survival!
We have been pushed hard into survival mode here by the combined failures of the BCNDP and on the federal level the Liberal-NDP alliance.
This Lady is what Canada needs in leadership!. I definitely will be voting for Pierre Poilievre but would absolutely give Danielle my full support too!.

When you compare Trudeau's "vapid, breathy, overwrought, feelings based, divisive" rhetoric... with Danielle Smith's forthright, well articulated and fact based speeches... the difference in intelligence and leadership is COMPLETELY obvious.

Well, great speech from Premier of Alberta Danielle Smith talking about leadership and honesty that seem to be lost with the feds lately. She's an excellent orator by not trying to dictate premiers within the provinces of Canada with her approach to get things done in Alberta. That is my intake about Danielle Smith leadership overall!🤷
Punitive taxes should never be levied in Canada. We are not going to move to electircal grid home heating. That is stupid. Natural gas is direct heat source, more efficient for home heating than electrical ever will.
To heat a Home electrically is easily 5 to 6 X's more than Natural Gas! With Team Trudeau‘s tyrannical demand that we also switch to EV's it is impossible to build added Base Load necessary to fuel his green fantasies! We can't go to Walmart and Buy a Nuclear Power Plant off the Shelf! We're talking of a construction process that could take 2 decade's!
There are large Apartment Buildings that have switched out their Natural Gas HoT Water Tanks to Fuel Oil, decade's ago because they are the most efficient!

Thank you. There are many veterans using the food banks across Canada right now as well, just ask VAC. It is my understanding that the victims involved with the DND sexual misconduct class action lawsuit are also still waiting for their funding. Applying for the class action lawsuit reignited trauma in many of the victims (as reported on Reddit, Facebook and by comrades of mine). They are reporting that they cannot get closure due to the fact that they are still waiting without any word of when the money will be distributed.
