In this video I go over a way to protect the Insta360 Ace Pro factory lens cover that is really easy and affordable.
This is a press on JSR brand UV Filter from Aliexpress, total cost was 7.99 USD.
It fits pretty tight and has a silicone o-ring on the inside to prevent it from just falling off.
Here is a NON affiliate link to the filter:

Can't wait to go skateboarding with this!
oh man I can't wait :-) Ya never know a chunk of Ice could fly up from the river and crack it :-)
Noice! Well said!
Thanks again! What your feelings or experience of using the push on filter in wet conditions? Do you think it will allow moisture to fog between the lens easier?
Should be fine as they do have a silicone o-ring that seals pretty good for rain etc. Using them under water probably not advisable.
Hi @BassManstrikes . I'm considering this JSR MRUV filter cover. But I just wanted to know if you had any issues with it for the past month and would you recommend it?
I'm actually choosing between this OR the just released "circular screw-in thread filter" adapter but the latter would likely bulk things up. What do you think?
Thank You.
Yes the slip in ones are fine. No issues with the one I got.
@@BassManStrikes Thanks so much. Would you also recommend the circular screw-in adapter filters that slip in as well? I do have diopters here but also thinking if I'm really into it such that I'll use it whenever I need closer portrait headshots? (Because when I had a GoPro10 then with a screw-in filter thread, I really didn't use the diopters back then so I'm reluctant).
wow .. excellent product to know for my ace pro but there are options of lens covers how to select no color or zero color lens ?
That would be the UV filter lens covers.
Do you think that would hold up at 120mph ?
120 mph going forward ? absolutely :-) It fits on pretty tight.
@@BassManStrikes thanks for the reply 👍
Is there any effect or change in the image quality using the lens cover?
I really didn't notice anything.
Because it's another layer of glass it's going to stop a tiny amount of light but I took it out yesterday at dark and walked around the house, once with the filter and once without and it looked the same to naked eye.
@@BassManStrikes maybe publish some videos during day but also low light. Comparing with and without lens protection
@@WiljanWiljan I can't now, I just had foot surgery 😩
Link, please.
