- I review the Victor Drive X 9X badminton racket which is also Apriyani Rahayu's badminton racket of choice. It's an incredible futuristic looking racket with very cool holographic streaks around the racket frame and shaft. It's also very fast and super easy to play with.

Because when greyshia won Olympics, they made the price rocketed to the sky.... Selling it with big box called olympic edition, while nobody gives a fuc about the box and anything inside except the racket

I tried this racket during Victor's products demo in KL last week. IMHO it is pretty fast for an even balance racket. Drives and lifts felt really sharp and powerful. Shuttle control is excellent. Good for interception play in the front court. Power from the back court is decent since it being an even balance racket. I would say it is perfect for a front doubles player who occasionally moves to the back court.
Any idea on the pricing? Kinda curious

There is a bit of weight on head which gives you more power on your smash.
Are u still using it? Do u consider it as a fast racket? Is it good for smashing?

0:52 I just hold my friend's DriveX 0 M, The paint work is excellent, and the feel fits my hand. I haven't tried it to play with, ,maybe next week. I haven't bought a single Victor racket
Had 3 of these before switching to ARS HS. Easy to use, not too stiff or soft, pretty much 8/10 on everything except smash.
If you remove the original grip(mine came with the raw handle), the balance point is over 310, which makes it pretty head heavy while being decently fast. I think the thruster F enhanced is the closest racket to it.
How is ARS HS for smashing?
Can you review well-known or popular Apacs rackets in the future? I feel like they don't get much love despite how well their rackets are for it's price!

Totally agree with CK on this one. I own a Thruster F Enhanced Edition and this DriveX 9X. And though I get more power out of the TKF-EE I certainly love the DriveX 9x for it's stability and a more 'even balance' feel. The DriveX 9X to me, is for ppl who like the ArcSaber 11 Pro with an added Victor "Enhanced Edition" to it. ;)

My Carlton Kinesis Ultra Lite, has thinner frame under 8mm on the twisted section
Reminds me of the Carlton Kinesis and Gosen Inferno from a few years ago.
Used this for ovwr 2 hours last night and the handle is massive, probably bigger than g4.
I had mine strung with vbs68 and wow it's very powerful so i disagree there, very easy clears which you mentioned but smashes were fast and powerful and the control was excellent too so maybe its the strings as ive never used victor strings till now but the vbs68 seems fantastic and goes lovely with the racket, the strings feel hard but not too hard and ive been using aerobite and boost exclusively for the last few months and they are some of the best strings ive used so far, feel very stiff for the first few hours strung some rackets @27 and some @28 but afterwards they play great with tons of power and control
Hi CKYew! I recently bought a Yonex Arcsaber 7 Pro and I love the feel + user friendliness of the racket. How does the Drive X 9X, 100X and ARS-Hypersonic B compare to it?
Carlton Kinesis rackets all have the twist. Sadly quite often that's the weak points of the racket and where they crack/snap...
I've had probably 4-5 which all broke at similar "twist" points. Mostly non clashes.
Sadly Carlton's now dying of slow death (Probably becuase of QC issues!).
If you do get a good one though it lasts a good long while, specs vs price wise I always thought they were great!
This composite handle has been on Carlton's from years ago (2013? VTE and VTT both had it), even had thin layer close cell foam to soften the grip.

You are in National Championship final match, you broke ALL your trusty 88DP. No one else have any 88DP that they can lend to you. There are only 4 rackets available and they are all even-balance rackets: Victor Auraspeed 100X, Victor DriveX 9X, Yonex Arcsaber 11 Pro, and Yonex Arcsaber 7 Pro. All rackets are somehow strung with your preference Aerobite +/- 27 lbs.
Which one would you choose?

Halbertec 8000 is just like a slightly slower but less stiff version of the Arc Saber 11 Pro
