You explained it very well I believe I have a problem with that same unit on my Ford truck and no one explained it in detail as you did so thank you for that I am going to go test my unit as we speak have a great day thank you
The secondary air pump on my 02 DeVille crapped out because of the horrible design of being able to suck up water. Never replaced it and I'm pretty sure it contributed to clogging my cats. The one in my 08 DTS makes a whirring noise on cold start, but I'm pretty sure they redesigned the water sucking up issue.
🔥 vid. I have a. 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS with p0451 and I can’t find the fuel tank pressure sensor. It’s not on the fuel pump. Where can I find it or is there a way to find it? Thx
Don't expect a reply. It's a one way UA-cam video only helping him to get dollars from UA-cam, and to heck with you, and me, and others, Sorry to say. Find another video including your year and type of vehicle, and you'll be more happy than this generalized video. It's not one part fits all, and each vehicle has differing designs as we all know..
I had a very weak battery that required jump starting in cold weather, in the end the CEL came on... Still drove the car for weeks as the weather warmed up (No Jump required), got the CEL diagnosed at my mechanics garage as FTPS... I replaced the battery and this CEL code never came back on, been a year now !! I guess the voltage these sensors receive have a lot to do with functionality, who would think a bad battery would cause a code like this to trigger ?? LOL
I had mine replace now the engine surges and it has felt like when I'm stopping at a slow speed that it surges when stopping. Also see s to cut out when going slow. When fast it's harder to tell but noticed the engine sounds like it's not running steady but is surging like constant but runs smooth
I have a code p0452 fuel tank pressure sensor I would like to know where is it located exactly can’t find any video of mine car Mine is an 2006 Acura TL
You connected the meter to the yellow wire are the other two wires lowering the voltage to your meter after you apply the vacuum, what is lowering the voltage If power is going into the sensor that must mean the other two wires are controlling the power to the sensor I'm a little confused
For people viewing this - if you have a Cadillac ATS-V I beg you to just let your Cadillac shop handle replacing the sensor. Why? Because they will only bill you 1.5 hours for a job that will take them 4.5 hours to do. And would take the average guy all weekend... Trust me.
Always Factory parts? What about tires and battery? There are quality aftermarket parts available and junk aftermarket parts available. There are quality factory parts and junk factory parts. All depends. Do your research before purchase
I have watched tons of videos on how to hunt down this problem. Yours is by far the best. I love that you actually show every step and tool you used.
I appreciate how thorough you are when explaining how to check it, what it does, and the tools you use. Thanks a lot
WOW! One of the best repair vids I've seen!

Excellent video. Purchased oem sensor but they are not cheap.Thank you
Thank you for the video, sir!
This was a good check for the sensor but the actual ground from the sensor should also be checked not just to a body ground.
excellent, thank you

Try the other side of the caliper for internal measurements
Or measure the nipple lol it’s not stretched or cracked
جيد
What does it mean if the voltage goes up on the signal wire when vacuum is applied to sensor
how do you check it if you dont have the thing to add pressure, can you just turn the car over or turn the key to the on position?
Great video. Where would a fuel tank pressure sensor be located on Hyundai Elantra 03 GT?

Can you do a video how to test a turbo boost pressure sensor please
Where would the fuel pressure sensor be located on a 2005 Acura TL ?
What about testing ground?
