  • The Jalisco New Generation Cartel is Mexico’s deadliest narco empire. But amidst rumours that their leader is actually dead - could this all be about to crumble?
In ten years, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel has come from nothing to become the deadliest rising power in Mexican drug trafficking.
They have achieved this by applying unprecedented levels of organised, paramilitary-style violence - even using tanks and drone warfare against other cartels and the Mexican military.
But, rumours are swirling that the near-legendary boss of the CJNG is out of action - and possibly even dead. Could this be the beginning of the end of this brutal cartel empire?

Mushrooms did wonders in my life. Over the course of my life, I've suffered from uncontrollable, depression, anxiety, alcohol, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for a long time and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. This is something that really needs to be used globally to help people with similar health challenges. I've been sober for 6 years and have my life back.

It is important to not lose sight of the fact that the developed world that provides the demand for drugs is partly responsible for what is happening where the stuff is produced and smuggled through. People will never stop wanting drugs so, in my view, the only solution is to legalise recreational drugs. This would stop the black market and enable them to be taxed and regulated.

I just don’t think censorship of said drug culture/removing it from the media will change anything. • @FlowerItzel18

it’s more complicated than that, the US don’t really try to do a big change to get drugs out of the streets because the people who use drugs, for the most part are marginalized people and they’re not useful to society. there’s also institutionalized racism but no one wants to talk about that. So as long as the rich get richer and the poor become poorer there won’t be a change. Humans are innately corrupt to the core.

To produce fear in that rival gang? I don't think that works if they are all on this kinda big level.. But it for sure gives fear to the general population about their reputation, maybe that's the goal?
I see guys in full military gear and weapons knowing they are a criminal gang tho, I don't need to see torture videos to know they are already dangerous and to be feared as a civilian.
So what is the point of these torture execution videos that seem to surround drug cartels? Is it just to state they are not to be messed with? idk. I woulda thought that would really go without saying.
