  • If you are fitting a diesel heater in a Ford Transit you can get the fuel for the heater straight out of your vans fuel tank, rather than fitting the stupid 10ltr tank that comes with the heater. They usually leak and you'll spill diesel filling it which will stink your van out. Ford Transits are fitted with an auxiliary fuel port which is situated on top of your fuel tanks sender/pick up. Once you have the correct 'straw' and connector it's an easy job to drop the tank down and install it. I found the 'auxiliary fuel port kit' for a Transit was hard to get hold of, every where is out of stock. I noticed that the kit for a Vito van looked similar so bought one. When it arrived the bag the kit came in said Vito but the instructions are for a Ford Transit, they are the same kit. In fact you get an extra bit, a sleeve that goes over the blue fuel line for a bit of added protection. I'll put a link to the one I bought. What ever one you get make sure it has the straw with the orange rubber tip on the end, I see there are some that don't seem to show it in the description, the one here has. www.butlertech... .Let me know what you think and leave a comment.

Thanks a MILLION for this video. Watched LOADS of yt but this is the only one which relates to my van.
Tank didn't drop much tbh. But hope video has been a huge help ❤❤
If I did have a question, it'd be; where did you run the aux fuel line? The blinking van exhaust is right between the aux nipple and the feed through the turret (got mine on driver's side.
I've almost lost my mind over this part of the build 😂😮😤🤡🎄👍

Thank you for your video. Do you have gasoline engine? Or diesel?
