Game Info: As an open world vehicle simulator, BeamNG.drive will cover a large array of vehicular disciplines - everything from a delivery mission in a box truck to a high speed rally race or a destruction derby. The vehicle customization and detail will allow you to make your car or truck all your own - fix it up, upgrade it, or strip away body panels to reduce weight. Wait, I thought all this time that Beam doesn't have animation capability... Why are there no drivers in the cars then? As a VR user, I would love to have drivers in every car. Better yet, for drag racing, a BUG (Backup Girl) or two.
You can down load a mod that will allow you to add a dummy to all vehicles...I think it's called Agent Y Dummy mod..
I don't get the dummy thing... why add a dummy? Is there a way to add a realistic looking driver?
I tried to put in a different character the same way but got the invalid zip error. So I unzipped the level folder, both in the source folder location and outside of it before rezipping and dragging back in. When I kept it in that source folder and I rezipped the folder the mod map then wouldn't show up. I figured since the first time it was zipped, I'd try taking it out of the source folder and unzipping before placing the animation and rezipping would work but even that still didn't have the mod map show in the menu anymore. For what it's worth, I uploaded an fbx to mixamo and exported a dae zip in which I extract immediately. Is there a naming convention I might be able to change to get it to work? Maybe I need to be on a different beamng version?

question: if the downloaded .fbx doesn't have a texture (or the texture is separated into a JPG file), how to add them into the model?
in my case, i've downloaded .fbx that its texture separate. then i add texture in blender to that model, and then exported the model to .fbx again.
when i uploaded it to mixamo, it says "sorry unable to map your existing skeleton". what should i do?

oh i forgot. when i uploaded .fbx file that has no texture ... it works fine.

I managed to put .mdl model into blender with SourceIO add-on, but i can’t find animations there
I'm sure that can be done, I just have to find the models of Gary's mod charecters...I will look for them.

There is a problem that i have, I succeed only once to put a character. When I tried the next time, the character was completely broken once I import it into the map. What could be the reason 😕
What kind of character? Was it a character that you downloaded and then exported from Blender? Or was it a default charecter from Mixamo?
