  • Part 1 of 3...This is how you can import a animated character into any BeamNG level using the web site Mixamo.

    Game Info: As an open world vehicle simulator, BeamNG.drive will cover a large array of vehicular disciplines - everything from a delivery mission in a box truck to a high speed rally race or a destruction derby. The vehicle customization and detail will allow you to make your car or truck all your own - fix it up, upgrade it, or strip away body panels to reduce weight. There are a lot of different types of gameplay we want to implement beyond just racing and crashing, such as police chases, stunt challenges, and other specialized minigames.

      No, not any object, but most charecters you can, I have tutorials showing how...

    would be very cool if someone did a script to automatically spawn and despawn some walking characters on the sidewalks of city maps...

      That can easly be done, but they will not have collision, meaning you'll drive right thru them...

      @@havocng yeah I know they won't have collision.. I meant only for adding ambience to the maps. They feel kinda dead without pedestrians

      @Brandon Jones not site if it's actually necessary but when exporting a .Dae I always select the 4 boxes to the right: Selection Only, Include Children, Include Armatures, Include Shape Keys...

    Hello how are you, excellent tutorial, I wanted to ask you what happens when we download a character and it generates another folder with textures? where do we place it? thanks and greetings from Argentina

      Just leave it, if your downloading a charecter from Mixamo and it creates a Texture folder then it's ok, place your charecter in BeamNG and it should work.
