Wholesome and so very true lol. I have to do the same thing with my daughter. Thankfully she's graduated to Tales of Symphonia as of the time of me writing this. Now if only I can get her to level someone other than Colette we'll be alright
Am so on board for this hahaha it’ll be little surprises in vids ..make her a regular when she’s off school on holiday or something def be good for the channel
Seriously I’ve loved robs comedy for years. But this hits a whole new level. As a father of a 3 year old boy I am starting to experience some of these and long for, and dread some others. Seriously. Rob you are the greatest personality on UA-cam.
One you all missed: when that new mature game comes out that you want to play and the kids just...won't...go...to...bed! I guess the dilemma here is: when they finally do go to bed, do you 1) be responsible and go to bed on time as well or 2) Stay up ridiculously late because it's finally game time and regret it in the morning.
At a certain age, I let my little brother watch when playing god of war 2 (the ps2 classic) but then always turned the tv off on the too brutal QTE's and turned it back on when they where done, kinda had them memorizied at that point XD
My two year old walked in the other day, having got out of bed, to find me playing Resident Evil 4 Remake. The surprise appearance of course distracted me, leading to poor Leon Kennedy getting a knife to the heart. I don't think my little boy was quite old enough to understand what was going on but he looked pretty shocked.
This Friday feature is one of the best I think ever. From the Mini Rob cameos to the cinematic shots!! Absolutely blown it out of the park. I've been watching this channel since about 2014/15. I've grown with this channel and have gone from a teenager to an adult. It makes me feel old. And even if gaming ends up getting put on the back-burner due to life as you get older. The feeling and joy of gaming never truly goes away 😊
My son is now nearly 3 years old. Could not play any game, not only for a single hour. My love for games mostly lives on through this channel .... absolutely no time for the things i would like to do. Hope this is going to be better in the future. Miss gaming and "me time" very much.
8:55 I've commented many times on your eloquence so far Rob but honestly, I deeply want to express my gratitude for someone of such skill having chosen to work in the field of gaming rather than somewhere else. You are such an underrated gem in the gaming world as a whole.
Number 8 : When the children are in bed and you are playing Resident Evil, headphones on completely immersed in the terror and in your peripheral vision you see your son/daughter staring at the tv watching Leon/Claire/Chris being eviscerated
Omg that happened with try little sister when I'd play horror games or watch horror movies. She got quite good at just sneaking into the room, finding a little hiding spot and secretly watching till something got too scary for her. I had to clear any room I wanted to have spooky time in. 😅
I started up my kids on Final Fantasy 7 after rebirth came out. My daughter played it for a grand total of 20 minutes, but my son is halfway through disk 1!
I don't even have children yet but this is among the best friday features! Loved seeing Rob and his daughter together. You can tell he's a great father 🥰
It's also really, REALLY important to show an interest in your kids' hobbies, whether it's gaming or not. It was watching my kids game that got me interested back in the last century. Now my kids are going through everything in this video with my grandkids! Thanks for another great Friday Feature, Rob.
Seriously? Where the heck did you buy a baby? I'm in need of one myself but the only one I could find on the Internet was a dude called Justin from Canada. Scam, obviously - bloke was like 16 in the advert video :P
I’m not a parent but this has got to me one of my favorite Friday features ever. It’s like a good Simpsons episode, funny throughout but also some heartfelt stuff
Rob’s Friday feature videos is how I found PS Access about 4 years ago now. I binged watched all the ones that I had missed. So much fun, so glad he’s doing them again! Also, I’m 38, been gaming since I was 4 or 5, and I have four boys. Three of them game as much as I let them, and the other is a casual gamer. Needless to say, I really related to this! 😂
Rob mate. This was fantastic. Whats different about your lists compared to others is passion you have, the out there topics you cover and the hilarious skits that are included. It's great to have you back.
Ah so that's why Rosie beats Rob at Crash Team Racing every time, Rob's just too used to going slow on purpose from when he plays against his daughter.
My personal parent gaming dilemma comes when my 5yo son asks me to help him with whatever Lego game he is playing at the time. I know full well that he knows how to do whatever he’s asking for help with. I know full well that as soon as I pick up the controller and spend a little bit of time working out what to do, he’s going to start making fun of me for not instantly knowing what to do and he’s going to take the controller back and show me what I should have done, while mocking me the entire time 😭
Hearing "sitting down" as an item on your to-do list was all too real Rob! I still dont have the bravery to let my 6yo and 8yo play on my PS5 - I see how agressive those fingers are on my PS4 controller... and I just cant allow it yet 😂
Fantastic feature Rob. SO relatable even though I'm not a parent - but have gone through several of these phases with my nephews. You're right, let them be them.
Absolutely loved this. Whilst not a parent, I’m the “cool uncle gamer” . My nephews have now come of age (7, 8 and…4) so we’ve been introducing them to Access to discover new games and genres. We are trying to break the Fortnite addiction atm but through education and exploration. As Rob, says gotta let them do their own thing. Lovely vid and lovely to see Rob’s daughter (got into the channel a few months before her birth). Nice one Access! ❤
You've outdone yourself here, Rob (Ella too, what a natural!) Had me laughing out loud loads! Reminds me so much of my relationship with my nieces and nephew - they're 8 and 10 years old, and I've been in all of these situations with them 😂
One of the best Friday Features ever, great to see your precious little lady, she was amazing in this, I didn't realise I've missed Friday Features so much, so glad they are back!
One i’d like to add is the sticky fingers on the controller. Man i can take apart and put back together a duelshock blindfolded. Because the amount of time ive had to clean the buttons to stop sticking !
After seeing Robs little one. I got a free content idea 💡. What if we can get an episode where the kids of Ps UK make a friday feature appearance. Where they make a list of what it's like to ba a gamer kid with gamer parents. I think it would be great entertainment.
This video was a joy to watch. It so cool to see Rob's daughter with him. The list is spot on as well. My son is 13 and I've experienced more than half of these.
When my daughter was 2 years old she used to take a nap in the afternoons so i would try to get a bit of sneaky gaming in. I remember playing Dark Souls 3 and would be on the verge of beating a boss, or would get invaded right at the point she would wake up. Fortunately she’s now at the age where she’s happy to sit there and earn me a Platinum trophy on Paw Patrol Adventure city.
Rob, I've been watching your Friday features since I've never had any kids that featured. I now have 2, and it feels like I need to carefully choose what I play because I'll be playing it for the rest of the year
As a fellow girl Dad I am with you on this Rob. Luckily for me my daughters like fighting games like Skullgirls and Under Night In-Birth 😂 adorable kiddo too sir 👍
2 more entries: 1. Making sure your kids are not exposed to the 18+ games collection you have gathered over the years. 2. Maybe similar to the 7th point in the video - the posibility of your child's interest in video games waning due to other things in their own lives.
Very relateable video. Its weird when you go from telling your kids about fun games youve played to them telling you about fun games they are playing. My oldest is almost 15 now and yeah, he's about just passed me in skill that its getting really hard to beat him haha. Its a wonderfull mix of despair and pride. My own fault ofc with all the co op games we played over the years to let him grow into a good gamer (the Lego games are a lot of fun for example).
Ten years of Rob and Access and dozens upon dozens of excellent Friday Features, but this one probably hit the most, as a dad to a 9 year old. To add, that with terror I'm seeing my daughter discovering Fortnite. Damn kids and their likings.
I have come across a few dilemmas as a mother when it comes to video games. * Don't let them play on your save files in the games you are letting them casually run around in. There's a good chance of that save file will get deleted or overwrite. (It's how my KH3 crit and proud files got deleted.) So they got their own profile (with parental control) so they can save, delete and overwrite their files all they want. *If you get them into a on-going franchise that you are highly interested (in my case is Kingdom Hearts), when the next game drops, you might have to fight with them who gets to play it. 😅
Alright this one was one of the best fridays features ever, and they're all good !! I just couldn't stop smiling and laughing with those sketches, Rob's daughter jumping yelling minecraft, GROWN UP DELSIN... So many gems
You forgot one other thing. That is having to pick which games you play when your kids are around. Because your kids are there and you can't be playing resident evil or bloodbourne for example when their around so you end up playing something like Astro's playroom. Because you can't expose your kids to that level of violence in a game due to being a responsible parent. Also great double act in the video Rob, been watching your videos for years. Always make me smile.
1 definitely missed as well for Gamer Parents Dilemma - I want my kids to enjoy games as much as I do BUT they have chores...and home work...and spouse says they really have been on the game 'too long'. Suddenly you are YOUR parents but to your children 💔
As a dad myself, these last few videos have hit so hard. I'm a few years behind with my son being 4, but I'm excited for what you've shown here Rob. :')
What a great Friday feature. What a great guest appearance from Daughter S Pearson. How cute! And comedically talented! The timing, tha acting. I mean it was just brilliant! Well done guys!
Cracking video once again Rob , can't belive its been 10 years and watching this channel has definitely helped me with parenthood through the highs and lows and now my little ones nearly 6, keep up the great work guys 👌👍
As a dad of an almost 3 year old who’s now getting into games and obsessed with playing Astros Playroom (she calls it Blue Game), this Feature hit me in all the emotions. Bravo.
My husband and I have been watching Friday Features since 2016 and I was so happy when they came back this year. And this one coming out now we have a two week old daughter was just perfect.
The paw patrol on a roll trophies on my profile are some of my proudest trophies because my son did them while sitting on my lap. And who doesn't love the "ask dad" when a question comes up about gaming, whether it be a difficult level or just why isn't this working right.... I love the fact I can game with my son, sharing my love of something with him, and passing it on to him too
About Paw Patrol, not gonna lie, I would just make an account for my child that would be a "primary account" on PS4/PS5 so that my child would always log in to her/his own account and not mine or just set up a parental code for mine account so that she/he wouldn't have an idea that this account is restricted for her/him (maybe that's harsh, but I want to have my Trophy list for my own!)
Wow as someone who doesn't have kids I can't relate ahahha. But it's so different seeing Rob's kid and remembering back in 2014-15 when the Friday Features were just him and the boys. Parenting has changed so much in him!!
Well, isn't this the cutest Friday feature? Bravo, Rob. Like the Grinch, you made my tiny, shrivelled unfeeling heart crippled by adulthood, a little bit bigger.
My game monitor has exclusively been the Meta Quest 3 since last October. Even for Playstation disc games (I stream the HDMI-out to PC, then connect the Quest wirelessly to PC, turning the usual external monitor off). This has had great benefits when one of my kids walks in randomly during the night, there is zero risk of them seeing some disturbing scene before I get a chance to block the screen. Also immensely adds immersion!
8 years, wow! congrats :D baddie duty is such a nostalgia hit! i had to get my dad to beat a spyro level for me and then the next level baddies were too scary and i cried XD shes a cutie and looks like a fun kid :D
How good are these Friday features. I have a nostalgia for them. The music, the format, robs cynicism. Now we just need Tuesday checklists. Still miss the days with Holly, Dan n nath there too.
I think this is one of the best videos you have ever produced, very good and wholesome. I had a smile all the time through the video, cheers Rob and the Access team!
When I first stumbled across your videos it was those Friday features or Tuesday checklists that kept me interested and entertained. Now after some years and so many brilliant videos it is such a pleasure to have them back some kind of regularly. It is a nice idea to include your actual daughter because these scenarios seemed too good to not be out of the real daily life of yours 😂😂😂 Made it even funnier. What I want to say is... I really love playstation access. This channel and your videos are the only thing I frequently watch on YT. Good content, indeed. ❤❤❤ Lots of love goes out to the whole access team.
Oh the appearance of robs daughter was jsut brilliant 😂 she’s a natural & I hope we see more of her as she was funny. One thing as a gaming parent that used to be the issues of cabled controllers!!! We were parents when there were no wireless! So young in walkers trundling round was fun to deal with 🤣😂 But I will say we never did let them win & that helped them to become even better players than we are now! 🤣
I absolutely love that Rob is making Friday features about things he couldn't make them about 10 years ago.
4:59 Absolutely wonderful to see Rob’s Daughter in this Friday Feature! What a cameo! 😆🙌🏻
The future of PS Access perhaps?
Seeing Rob bond with his daughter and play off each other so well made this one of the best FFs ever
"Look! I had to play the game and get good at it in case she needed help, okay." Legit the most wholesome thing I've heard in a long, long time.
I am also doing this for my son!
Rob is a nice Dad ❤
For me this made me immediately think of my little sister but I only did it so she wouldn't be better than me at any game lol
Wholesome and so very true lol. I have to do the same thing with my daughter. Thankfully she's graduated to Tales of Symphonia as of the time of me writing this. Now if only I can get her to level someone other than Colette we'll be alright
Me: "Big Teenage Delsin isn't real, he can't hurt you..."
Friday Feature:
Big Delsin was a major jump scare. 😂
Rob’s daughter is a star in the making. Set up the flip chart/whiteboard for Minecraft references and get her started on her next Friday feature 😂
Am so on board for this hahaha it’ll be little surprises in vids ..make her a regular when she’s off school on holiday or something def be good for the channel
@@Chris5467 yeah she did great. :D
Oh wow we finally get to see Robs little one 👧..she’s definitely his kid hahaha 😂
She exists. And here I wasn't sure.
Now to meet the legend that is his sister
@@baseds8rosie?
@jessebradley1617 Nope. Rosie is Jim "Caddicarus" 's sister. The sister Rob always talks about in the Podcast and Tuesday Checklists. 😁
@baseds8 I must be mistaken. My bad
"The most important thing - Put down magazine - One of the most important things in my life" Love that part 😂
Seriously I’ve loved robs comedy for years. But this hits a whole new level. As a father of a 3 year old boy I am starting to experience some of these and long for, and dread some others. Seriously. Rob you are the greatest personality on UA-cam.
I was honestly expecting Rob's daughter to be Rosie in a onesie.
Do what I do: get a PS Portal with headsets and hide in the closet playing.
Just let them watch..
Can tell youre not a parent @mullaoslo
At a certain age, I let my little brother watch when playing god of war 2 (the ps2 classic) but then always turned the tv off on the too brutal QTE's and turned it back on when they where done, kinda had them memorizied at that point XD

An appearance from daughter S Pearson
A new Christmas Maze challenger approaches!
Big Teenage Delsin is the scariest thing i have seen on this channel!
Absolutely HORRIFYING.
And now Ash knows what to do for halloween this year

Hopefully you can get some gaming time as your son grows a little older and share it with him!
When I was 3 or 4 I used to play Contra with my dad. RIP my dad.
Rob's daughter has impeccable comedic timing.
Loved the feature this week. Getting Rob and his daughter in together is priceless. She did a great job and nearly has the energy levels of Rosie. 😂
This had to be the ultimate "bring your child to work" day 😊.
8:55 I've commented many times on your eloquence so far Rob but honestly, I deeply want to express my gratitude for someone of such skill having chosen to work in the field of gaming rather than somewhere else. You are such an underrated gem in the gaming world as a whole.
After becoming a mother myself last year, I definitely understand why Kratos kept shouting "BOY!" every 5 minutes lol 😂
so you became a real life rule 63 Kratos?

I don't even have children yet but this is among the best friday features! Loved seeing Rob and his daughter together. You can tell he's a great father 🥰
Genuinely brilliant cameo in this one. Great video Rob. Easily one of the best Friday features ever! 🎉
I can relate to the entry about baddie duty, but as older brother and not as a parent. It operates basically the same
It's also really, REALLY important to show an interest in your kids' hobbies, whether it's gaming or not. It was watching my kids game that got me interested back in the last century. Now my kids are going through everything in this video with my grandkids! Thanks for another great Friday Feature, Rob.
We have just bought a new baby girl in to the world last Saturday ... I cried watching this 😂
Massive congratulations to you and the family!
Congratulations!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉
Seriously? Where the heck did you buy a baby? I'm in need of one myself but the only one I could find on the Internet was a dude called Justin from Canada. Scam, obviously - bloke was like 16 in the advert video :P
Pretty sure buying children is illegal....

I always love the Friday features but this one was extra enjoyable, such a sincere and personal touch! nice one access
Friday features got me through some rough times a few years ago. Having them back hits so hard. Thank you for coming back
Ah so that's why Rosie beats Rob at Crash Team Racing every time, Rob's just too used to going slow on purpose from when he plays against his daughter.
My personal parent gaming dilemma comes when my 5yo son asks me to help him with whatever Lego game he is playing at the time. Dilema 8:
Not rubbing in a victory too much when your kids are old enough to beat in a game but not old enough to handle the trash talk after
Great cameo this week! Happy to see the Friday feature making a comback for now. I love the whole access team!
4:58 OMG what a surprise! There's only one thing I can say after this, you Rob must be a wonderful father!
Absolutely loved this. Whilst not a parent, I’m the “cool uncle gamer” . My nephews have now come of age (7, 8 and…4) so we’ve been introducing them to Access to discover new games and genres. Letting my daughters (4 & 7 years old) win in mortal kombat 1 for 1 hour straight is one of the memories I will treasure when I grow old.
After seeing Robs little one. I got a free content idea 💡. What if we can get an episode where the kids of Ps UK make a friday feature appearance. Where they make a list of what it's like to ba a gamer kid with gamer parents. I think it would be great entertainment.
If that would be okay with everyone that'd actually be such a fun video
Rob has been going hard on the family life aspect of gaming in his Friday features lately. I feel so heard. So understood. 😭
This video was a joy to watch. It so cool to see Rob's daughter with him. The list is spot on as well. My son is 13 and I've experienced more than half of these.

I never let my son win at Tekken 8. I always mained Hwoarang and schooled him, then he started maining King. Now I'm being schooled by my 8 year old.

Lol would love to see her reaction to Delsin.
What a debut from Rob’s daughter! 🤩 Loved this so much!!
This is amazing! Love that you’re back with the Friday Feature, and your daughter is hilarious!
I can't stop "aww"ing this whole video. This was so wholesome
What a great Friday feature. What a great guest appearance from Daughter S Pearson. How cute! And comedically talented! The timing, tha acting. I mean it was just brilliant! Well done guys!
Love that snort that Rob's daughter did at the end of the video, such a kid thing to do. I think I did that at least a few times when I was young.
Cracking video once again Rob , can't belive its been 10 years and watching this channel has definitely helped me with parenthood through the highs and lows and now my little ones nearly 6, keep up the great work guys 👌👍

I lost my son at 9 years old last year and this has brought up memories and feelings I've had and ones I'll never get to experience
I love when they do somthing unexpected like this because i never thought i would see robs kid and how hes a run dad
My husband and I have been watching Friday Features since 2016 and I was so happy when they came back this year. And this one coming out now we have a two week old daughter was just perfect.
Robs daughter is absolutely legendary in her cameo! Most definitely little Rob! Teenage Delsin is equal parts epic and terrifying!
You missed the joke at the end of that segment?
Wow as someone who doesn't have kids I can't relate ahahha. But it's so different seeing Rob's kid and remembering back in 2014-15 when the Friday Features were just him and the boys. Parenting has changed so much in him!!

Well, isn't this the cutest Friday feature? Bravo, Rob. Like the Grinch, you made my tiny, shrivelled unfeeling heart crippled by adulthood, a little bit bigger.
Is that robs actual daughter? Or some random kid they pulled into the office with the promise of Minecraft?
I think that's Rob's actual daughter
You can see the resemblance 😂😂😂😂 it's so obvious
It's his daughter. He sometimes posts family pictures on his Instagram account 😊
Godammit, how is that little girl that good in her line delivery? That’s scary. It’s legit better than most child actors I have seen in my time.
Omg this channel just popped up in my recommended, I can’t believe this channel is still going all these years later.
Its nice to see Rob going throught fatherhood. As a father of 4, I approve 😂😂😂
By far one of my favourite Friday Features to date
How good are these Friday features. I have a nostalgia for them. The music, the format, robs cynicism.
Now we just need Tuesday checklists. Still miss the days with Holly, Dan n nath there too.
I think this is one of the best videos you have ever produced, very good and wholesome. I had a smile all the time through the video, cheers Rob and the Access team!
When I first stumbled across your videos it was those Friday features or Tuesday checklists that kept me interested and entertained.
Now after some years and so many brilliant videos it is such a pleasure to have them back some kind of regularly.
It is a nice idea to include your actual daughter because these scenarios seemed too good to not be out of the real daily life of yours 😂😂😂
Made it even funnier.
What I want to say is... I really love playstation access. This channel and your videos are the only thing I frequently watch on YT.
Good content, indeed. ❤❤❤
Lots of love goes out to the whole access team.
😂 at the end, "Don't you want to play Paw Patrol?" and she's like "Nope, lame!" 🤣
Darn it, Rob, this hit home so hard....I love my son, but the loss of game space and time is devastating 😂
Oh the appearance of robs daughter was jsut brilliant 😂 she’s a natural & I hope we see more of her as she was funny.
One thing as a gaming parent that used to be the issues of cabled controllers!!! We were parents when there were no wireless! So young in walkers trundling round was fun to deal with 🤣😂
But I will say we never did let them win & that helped them to become even better players than we are now! 🤣
In all fairness, if a puppet really drew that picture at 5:40 it actually deserves to be praised.
As a Dad to a nearly 5 year old this video resonates so much with me!!!! Every point I was just going "Yep, that's me" 😂
