      With the walls being so smooth I'd imagine a lot of water flows through there. That being said I'd think it's a perfect human sized crawl to hopefully awesome cave

    Sorry for your your loss. Losing anyone is hard, parents and people that were close to us like that are the hardest. I truly wish you the best in this life and the next. I was wanting to share something with you... I have really enjoyed watching your channel, and just wanted to say thank you for helping me through the difficult time of losing my mother. You may not realize it, but I stumbled across your channel looking for positive relaxing type of things to watch to distract me on that rare occasion that I get to be alone... You know how that is with grief and loss, the time after everyone leaves is the hardest. Thanks for sharing your life and making mine and many others so much better by being upbeat and kind. God bless you and yours.

    Very cool adventure, for a second I got my bearings crossed and thought the bricks and stone were on the roof of the cave. Which, made me think it was a farmers back filled hole for second. Looks promising though.

    It sure is curious to me how those bricks came to be down there?! Makes me think it was much more open at one time and they filled it in with dirt, rubble, and bricks, only to have the water flood out and make a hole again, just in time for you to see it and dig it back open. This is pretty amazing! I hope you get in there and find some good relics to take home with you. If not, just making the memory of such a good little cave is still worth it. At least you know it's not like Alice down the rabbit hole, just a nice little hole with a nice little spring running through it. You know Beau you are blessed with more than the average amount of curiosity, and it makes for some fine adventures. Thanks so much for sharing!

    • @CarolinaDiggers
      @CarolinaDiggers 6 років тому +2

      Nah... I bet it was out of boredom. Those are pieces of Brick. My guess is that was the only water around and little kids slung them in the hole to see how far back it went or to hear how deep the splash would be.

    The cylindrical object looks like a piece of old cast iron pipe or clay pipe. I think the curved piece of iron you found yesterday is one half of a pipe connector. Makes sense that people would try to tap the water down there for drinking or irrigation water.

  • @mindofmadness5593
    @mindofmadness5593 6 років тому

    Sorry about the loss you are dealing with Chigg. Every time you put the camera in I kept craning my head to try and 'look' around the corner or further in. Even if you can't go deeper, were it me I would set a vid up in the opening so one could see the water trickling past and the rocks and such and just video for a few hours. Loop it and use it for those times when something nice and soothing on the TV as background is needed. Like a screensaver.

    At 10:13 it looks like the corner of the brick might....might....be sticking inside that tube, or it's broke off, but it is very beautiful and if it's a stone...I would take it home...I would like to see a slice of it on a tile saw to revile what it's like inside, like they do quartz ...and I do think the tunnel goes back, just still dark towards the back...
