The Cave Of The Creepy Face Exploration

- Join me as I explore a very beautiful but horribly smelly cave in search of a lost tunnel. I discover a mysterious place in the cave that I believe will lead to more underground mysteries if excavated. During the entire expedition I was exposed to the most rancid, disgusting slime and smell of a raccoon latrine. I almost threw up several times, but it was worth it. Look for the creepy mask like face in the middle of the video that I only discovered as I was editing this video footage. Shall we go back to dig out the lost passage or is the weird mask face an omen we must fear???

Fantastic video, thanks for taking us into this beautiful cave. It blows my mind that this is just one of thousands of active caves that are in perpetual darkness yet are so glorious in beauty when we have the privilege to look at it with light. Looking forward to more adventures here, wherever it is. What a treat.
The sound that column made when you tapped it was astounding. The reverberation was almost like a xylophone. So cool
Touching any one cave mineral location repeatedly allows
a transfer of human flesh secretions. That's an ugly stain.
My blood pressure rises when I watch your vlogs . Why do I watch? Discovery, knowledge, your drive for adventure, and accomplishment. I’m addicted. So, “GREAT VLOG”❗️👍🏻
I was captivated the whole time, Beau, and holding my breath, a lot. I still want to know more about that creepy face. Be safe.
YOU WERE JUST ON A TOP 15 VIDEO!! TOP 15 SCARIEST THINGS FOUND UNDERGROUND! Your video that was featured was the one where you find a green blouse and bones under a fallen tree! It showed up at #4
brat wurst link? I wanna watch it.
Nicole Ferri the video is by chills and is called "top 10 scariest things found underground"
He is also on another one about things found in water. They show the artificial leg he found in a river.
This is the link. ua-cam.com/video/hzAWq6btY2w/v-deo.html
oh man. I'm never watching that guy's videos again!! My God... you shoulda warned us about his VOICE.. his inflections!! Never, ever, ever again. I got through that video but nope, never again.
Glad my screen isn't scratch and sniff
😀😂
As far as bottoms falling out, been there done that in Graverobbers Extension of Cemetary Pit. A fellow caver and I checking a lead on the back side of a boulder moving rocks and all of a sudden the rocks started disappearing down a hole. My buddy panicked and pinned my legs down and I couldnt back away. Once it was all settled we eventually rappelled in to find several domes and a very tight hole connecting into the top of a dome room in Cemetary pit. Great adventure!
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I'm sure there are a lot of your followers that would never experienced all you show us. Apart from that we don't have to put up with the stink 😉 . Amazing video.
Beau... I love the enthusiasm you have for cave exploration. When my 2 boys were younger we lived in Tennessee and loved to visit Cumberland Caverns. We could go on guided tours and even camp in the cave overnight. It was a wonderful experience! One of the neatest memories I have is when we reached as far as we could go into the cave our guide turned off the lights and talked about 100% pure darkness. Talk about DARK!!! You couldn't even see your hands in front of your face!
When we sleep within caves it is with confidence of being not dead enough to interest the Troglodytes.
What a beautiful cave! You were definitely in a clam with the pearl. Very soothing to the eyes. Oh and thanks for dealing with the racoons 💩 lol
Awesome cave Beau. At the 26:30 mark it almost seems like you are inside the jaws of a fanged beast. What a cave.
Thank you for taking us around! Beautiful cave!
At 27.00 to 27.22 there was a little critter scrambled away from you. Dunno what it was tho.. Cool trip, thanks for inviting me along.
WOW! Amazing what is right under our feet! When you tapped that column and it rang out! Oh man that was exciting! I had no idea!!
It was a beautiful sound!
Thank you aquachigger for sharing that utterly beautiful cave system, shame about the raccoon scat spoiling your time in there but I suppose its just mother nature's way of making the cave and its treasures a little less accessible to creatures that would spoil or damage its uniqueness, wish I could have been there with ya even if the smell was horrendously bad , it wouldn't have put me off in anyway, just knowing that views like that were there to be seen first hand would have been worth it completely, your phylosopical comment about the continuity of time and nature and the balance of its purity was commendable in its sheer honesty. ........thank you mr chigger, keep up your amazing work
What a beauty! Surveyed a lot of caves over the years, saw some wonderful formations, but that cave, WOW!
Love the adventures you take us on and that bell rang at 314.9 Hz so cool! Thank you brother!
That cave is amazing. I could spend days slowly exploring. Thank you for sharing!!!
Hey Beau, good evening (2330) from the U.K.
I held my breath through the latrine areas, but boy you where right it really was worth it!
I’m loving this new format, please keep them coming.
Oh, I received my Chiggs Army tee shirt, it’s awesome, thanks buddy
Peace
Charlie UK
So what ever came about the digging of the hole in the lower part of the cave? Great video of the cave! Enjoyed it! Thanks
This is really unrelated, but I want to thank you for getting me into magnet fishing. I went out today and found a LEE button from the 20’s, a trigger of some sort (you know I’m going back to find the rest lol), and some other odds and ends! Still really unsure if it’s a gun trigger or what, but I gotta get the rest out!
Chigg, I love your spelunking videos! Thank you for this
Nice stinky crawl. :D I'm new to your channel as of early, early this A.M., but this crawl alleviated some of my concerns that you might be haphazardly going in a destroying stuff.
Thank you for braving the raccoon guano, the rain, the mud and the stench. I suspect that you really love it all ( well, maybe not the rotting fluffy poo) - I had no idea a stalagmite had resonance like a bell, that was awesome. Thanks for going where no man has gone before AND explaining how and why... 🌝🌞🌝
Where's the face? Was really looking forward to seeing it and finding out what it really was.
Thinking about the smell almost felt like throwing up too! I'm sitting here watching with my shirt over my nose! Lol!
Absolutely amazing Chig! You know, you got me into cave exploring a few years ago and now I'm addicted! Hahaha! So thank you for the new found hobby my friend!
I love everything you do with your channel, especially the caving vids
so many things,so many sites I would never see without your videos, thanks for sharing
I love some of the caves you find!!! If you were a hermit you'd have a bunch of great places to setup camp.
Thank you for these cave videos! I love seeing them, but can only muster enough courage to go into the public, developed caves.
I just love how you always bring in true nature. Thanks to you I felt like I was there. Love the beauty of this cave. Sorry it smelled so bad
Amazing, Mister Chiggles. Thanks for sharing this with us. :) By the way, I love my new 'Chiggs Army' Tee shirt that arrived last week.
and so began the legend of the stinkypooh cave. 8-} sure looks fascinating. thanks for sharing the experience chig.
AWESOME! I have always fantasized about finding my own cave like that! love the videos and all the cool stuff you find, too. I just started magnet fishing with my oldest son (13yo) and I am thinking about getting into metal detecting too with him. Thanks for inspiring us to keep exploring!
Great vid. Pretty cool to think of the eons of time it took for those stalactites to grow! Thanks cavechig!
Pack some frabreeze next time in lol. I keep waiting for one of those humanoid creatures to crawl across the ceiling in the movie Decent. Crazy cool Chigg. That’s a beautiful place. Thanks for taking us along. Glad you made it out ok. HH
Beau, This environment gives you a greater understanding of the phrase, " torn between loving and hating" your work. Ew! That Smell! Can't ya smell that smell? Ew Ew, that smell, the smell that surrounds you. Hey, that sounds like a song. : )
Another great adventure, Beau. I'm glad you do have a plan in place should you need help.
Awesome video........ Thank you for sharing. You're awesome.
Thanks chig ,mark that one off of things i would have never seen 👍
Very cool! It's different but cave diving is one of my passions. Haven't done it yet and probably never will, it's incredibly dangerous but I love to watch other's do it. But no bats? I was hoping for some to swoop down and scare the bejesus out of you ha ha. I love the fact that you get out and explore though, not enough ppl do. I can't place your accent, mid east coast maybe?? Just a note, I thought I heard you call the one's rising from the floor cave stalactites. If I heard wrong I apologize, but those are stalagmites.
How beautiful! I wish that I knew where a cave like this was. It's amazing how Mother Nature makes these amazing structures out of minerals & water. It kind of looks like coral.
Gorgeous Stalactites! How exciting to be able to discover new caves!
Fantastic adventure. You always educate and make your videos so interesting. Thxs
That’s amazing Chigger thanks for sharing with us. Wish I was there to course being 6’3 260lbs it’d be hard for me to squirm in some of them places.
Very good wild cave. Loved finding wild caves in southwest Virginia when I was growing up.
Amazing! I'm a new subscriber from Ontario, Canada. Brave man to do this alone. I don't metal detect but I love the history lesson & education your giving. I'm a genealogist & part time researcher so I love this stuff. I'm curious about these caves you explore. I'm assuming its on a farmers property so owned by him. You mentioned the blue survey ribbons so would it have been a historical society that surveyed it? I can see your respect for the cave and wondered if now that its been discovered by you & your friend, it it protected by the county/town? Thanks for the education.
Doverdiane - he has a vid or two about finding this cave about one year ago. If you look in old vids, u will find it.
Great video Chigg. Keep up the great work. Road to 1mil!
I found this channel like a wk or 2 ago. So happy I did :)
Thanks for sharing.... Nice cave....👍👍👍👍
Very cool adventure spelunking in that cave. I love how you are very respectable of the cave formations.
Talk about Gothic. Beautiful. Thanks Chigg.
Wow! Thanks for sharing! Pretty 😎 cool!
Beautiful. That second step is a doozy. Thanks.
Most folks watching this would have some cave experience themselves. For the few that don't....Caves are vastly more beautiful than cameras reveal. The reds and whites are just stunning. I'm just happy that we don't have raccoons in Alaska!
Awesome... was looking forward to this video! Thanks:)
You are a brave brave man.l'd love to do what you do but never by myself!! Props to you, keep the vids coming man,I just subscribed.
thank you for showing us this beautiful cave
Hey, this is my 4th or 5th video, first comment. Thank you for showing this to us! I have no desire to climb down into the bowels of the earth but seeing it... gorgeous!
Always ready for adventure with the Chigg
You really love caves, water and digging stuff don`t you Mr Chigg? Having said that, I find your videos varied and fascinating and I have watched loads, you must spend hours editing, or do you get someone else to do it, as you never seem to be in your house, also your washing machine must have a hard life with all the muck you bring home, never-the-less you keep making films, and I`ll keep watching them, Cheers from John in England.
We are going to change your name to Aqua Cave Man Chigger .Great video keep them coming.
I thought Rule #1 NEVER go by yourself
yup. twisted ankle you are fucked
This area of Iowa is full of sink holes and caves. There are rumors that one sinkhole that sits behind a cemetery was used as a mass grave for the poor during the flu pandemic. True or not it makes a person wonder what you would find in some of these underground systems. Thanks for taking us on another great adventure. Be safe.
I have a little chip of stalactite embedded in my scalp where it has rested comfortably for forty years. Bet you can guess how it got there! A very similar day to yours.
Jim Northland how did it happen and is it clearly visible and did or does it still hurt
Walked into a low hanging bit of "flower" type stalactite which shoved several shattered bits under my skin. Got most of them out but missed a tiny piece which I didn't notice until my scalp healed & swelling went away. I lived far out in wilderness area of Alaska and there are no doctors. No it doesn't hurt and is hard to detect even for me.
Fascinating ... it’ll be interesting over time as you and your cohorts continue to explore the cave and try digging around. However, have you taken a better pic of that formation that looks like a face?
I always wanted a raccoon hat. Just not while it is still alive.
Didn't see the creepy face. Awesome video s keep up the great job love it
Beautiful (butt) stinky...haha! Great adventure!
“So far so good, Not molested by any critters” haha i busted out laughing at that
Chigg awesome video buddy 👍👍👍👍👍😍😍😍
I would love to go spelunking with you and your crew sometime! It looks like lots of fun.
Gag reflex out of control. Check.
On an adventure with Beau. Check.
Learning a lot. Check
Being in an amazing cave.
PRICELESS
I get really bad anxiety just watching these I really hate tight spaces
The cave is fascinating and beautiful.
This strangely reminds me of the movie: The Descent.
Overseer Frederick that movie is scary bro
You’re a legend, fantastic adventure
Coolest video I've seen all week forsure
cool video and a very nice cave
Chig...you need to put a warning for us clostrophobics before these caving adventures...I will not sleep for a week!!!!
Wow Beau this cave just gets better and better. You might want to think face mask near the nasty poo. You look like you got a lot of good honest dirt on you, Lindsey is a saint. I hope you bought her a good front loader washing machine to take care of all that dirt?! LOL
Might want to consider getting a 4 or 5 gas meter (%O2, COx, HS, etc...) to carry while you are in those caves. One pocket of gas that displaces O2 or drops it below 16% and you are done. Just a note. I've been doing confined space entry for years and a meter has saved my bacon many times. Good luck and thanks for the vid.
some cave formations will glow briefly when you put a camera flash right up to them, close your eyes, fire the flash, and then quickly open your eyes you may see a glow that will fade quickly.
I'm having déjà vu... I remember a very similar video from ages back having stalactites.
Cool cave! :)
Cool, I thought I sort of seen it before... beautiful place.
Chigg, My husband held his breath for ya and I laughed, choked, then gagged for ya when breathing in the tribble poo. You're Welcome. Lol! : )
Above and beyond the call Chigg. Thanks!
That was Amazing thank you mate .
👍👍👍👍👍
How incredible...they are beautiful aren't they. You're so brave. Wow. Okay, True Light Flashlight, I think I heard that right. Thank-you.
Fantastic videos!!!!! Love them!
The speech around 1230 just changed my Outlook on life
Visit the Blue Mountain public-use caves, West of Sydney, Australia.
You can also walk with sharks to enjoy their coast sea caves. I did.
Beau you should do a video of Mallows Bay up there where they were building all those wooden ships an they ended up sinking them, I seen the story on a segment of the Science Channel show What On Earth. But I guess without the use of a drone or something wouldnt be able to get aerial footage of them.
Manure mine field! 🤢 hard to believe anything even goes in there
Cool stalactites. I like that sound it made when you banged on it.
Going through the “live” parts reminds me of scenes from Alien (1979). That white fungus is rad, even if it comes from poop. It looks weird being down there in pitch black. Too bad it smelled awful. God bless
#888 here checking in nice . thank you for the revile, blessings too the familia
I never worried about how far down the cave went, only how far back UP I had to go after I was tired after a day. That’s why I now stay topside and cook nice fresh stew and hot drinks for everyone. If possible warm, dry place to change and get ready to pack out. Electric light caving. No delightful aroma of carbide and acetylene.
Must be amazing to discover something like that.
How beautiful !!!..wow..very impressive.. Wondering are bats also inside a " live caves " also???
I was having my breakfast when you come across the poo. I still watched
