Hey Beau, Me and the wife were hiking at Mallows Bay near a once Civil War camp in Nanjemoy, Md and we came across a paw paw tree. The wife didn't know of this tree and I told her that I learn about the paw paw through one of Aquachiggers videos. We stopped during our hike to enjoy a paw paw. Your right its like a banana and mango taste. I enjoy watching your videos!
The Ghost Shipyard. Before Parks cleaned it up and removed old home sites (and when if you were caught there, the Parks staff would make us leave) it was really incredible to explore. Lots of pottery pieces, eagles, animal bones and pieces of metal from the old ships....it was really unique.
As a kid I was taught to always have a container of water with me when ever I headed out to go any where. To this day I never leave the house without a container of water. By taking one with me I never have to stop and buy one some where and that saves me money.... Also I be sure to have a pair of gloves with me just incase I need to mess with something sharp and or dirty or nasty... It's amazing how when your taught something at a young age that becomes a good habit, that when your even in your 60's you still remember to do it... LOL... And of course there are many other things that I carry daily in my man purse/EDC bag... I think about it every time I hear you say that you wished you'd brought some water with you... LOL... Be blessed my friend... BBE..
CONGRADS!!!!!!!!!!! ON 1.000.000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR THE WIZARD AND THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN NOW AND THE NEXT MILLION SUBS.WE ALL KNOW YOUR FULL OF SURPRISES !!!!!!!!!!!! Much love to you my FRIEND . STAY SAFE and HOLD YOUR BREATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL . LOVE YA FROM NORTH CAROLINA. PEACE MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who needs the dangers of the jungle's of Africa when you have that farm to explore?! Beau you are just like a 21st century Henry Morton Stanley of, "Dr. Livingstone I presume?!", fame. Crazy adventurous! Wow! I never saw so much locoweed in one spot in my life. I hope you didn't get a buzz after touching it and then eating the pawpaw. : - ) All those junk piles looked very interesting and could use a good look-see. The sink holes looked like you could be standing on solid ground one minute and be 65 feet underground the next. C-R-E-E-P-P-Y! You do know how to keep us on the edge of our seats. Loved the cow tag and the remark, "Sometimes they were attached to old Bessie", ha ha ha, that cracked me up! You are the best entertainment, thanks a million for the smiles and laughter...and the goosebumps!
When I was a kid, I remember discovering those jimsonweed pods(I think we called them moonflowers) and throwing them at stuff(as kids do) because they would blow up. The pods were really sharp and would poke into your hands, but I thought nothing of it at the time because it was fun. Later that day(or night) and possible the next day I had the craziest day/night terrors, cold sweats, and hallucinations. My parents thought I just had the flu or fever. I had a crazy pounding in my head and I thought were boulders bouncing up my stairs to my room - I could see them and hear them. I think I was 12 at the time, and to this day I still have night terrors about those hallucinations every so often. The stuff that is in the seeds must have poked through into my hands when we were playing with it. My parents figured it out when I told them about the plants we were playing with. I will never go near those again.
I often wonder if as a kid i ran into some of that! As a kid i remember having what i thought was the flu and the walls were closing in on me, had 104 tempeture too😳scary stuff!
As kids, we used to dip those pods in mud and shoot them at each other with our wrist rockets. Man they hurt like hell when they stuck. I don't remember hallucinations guess we got lucky.
Great video! I will watch when you did out the sinkhole. I love seeing you walk the farmland and woods - brings back memories of me roaming alone on my grandparents 40 acres (and off into the neighboring farms). I love old dumps - my first one was on their farm - I was always dragging up cool stuff they had thrown out 30 years before. There were also old abandoned log houses (that I was not supposed to go into) on the place. No paw paws - but mulberries and blackberries!
I've never heard of the Paw Paw! I love your channel, I've followed you for over 6 years, and you actually inspired me to start metal detecting and I got myself a cheaper machine (brand starts with a W, can't remember what it is) and I've found a piston from a tractor, and an old jack, along with a few little things like nails and coins. Thanks a ton!
You know all my life i heard that song pickn up paw paws puttin em in my pocket pickn up paw paws all day long. Im born and raised in ga and never seen or even heard of them till i seen your videos. 40 year old mystery solved. Lol
Love your channel Chigg. You and other fellow youtubers have inspired me to start my own youtube channel also ive only just started metal detecting and have along way to go as far as knowledge goes but your channel has helped me alot!!
Very cool area and looking forward to the following videos, Jimson Weed is pretty common here in AZ is areas above 3000 feet. I used to live in a town call Paw Paw in Illinois...
Maybe get a drone and see if you can spot some sinkholes while you are on the property roaming? It would give you a quicker idea of the better spots to head to and with a thermal camera you could spot the warm air during the winter that would be flowing out.
I found an 1818 Half Stiver right on top of the gravel in my backyard creek, here in Port Tobacco Md. My detector sounded 9n it, but just by luck as I was walking.
Thanks for another interesting video. I'm an old caver, from the carbide lamp days, and watching you go exploring makes me kind of wish I was 20 years younger so I could join you on some of your expeditions.
okay who else finds themselves holding their 😤breath😧 when he says it? I love it when he does LOL🤣. On another note who else likes the🎶🎼 song🎼🎶 at the end of the video? My family and I love your energy and your enthusiasm keep up the good work and keep the videos coming can't wait for the next.😀
Love your videos I go on treasure hunts often find amazing things to sale in my store Mr golds emporium of antiques and oddities love strange things thanks for making videos and sharing them
I seem to remember at some point years ago you mentioned having found someone dead at one time or more, can you make a video about that? I mean it seems it is always something on your mind when you do these expeditions.. Thanks. very long time follower here :3
Good job at finding a new farm to explore! Those last woods might be worth detecting, now, not too much ground cover - the funny little tubey thing looked like a part of a vacuum milking machine... Might need some help digging thru' all that junk... Scary seeing all that Jimsonweed! Not to self: take water, flashlight, mobile, knife, flares, rope, gloves, spade, trowel - oh & alpaca, or donkey, or mule for hauling it all, hay for mule, water for mule...! Good hunting 😎👍
Hey Chigg, I live in your neck of the woods and just found out about "Hen of the Woods" mushrooms. I've watched most of your videos and don't remember you mentioning these. It's the tail end of the season now but let me tell you they are delicious! If you haven't tried them you should.
Oh my God I love paw paws. They're actually really tasty. I always try to get out during their season but it is quite short so I don't usually get the chance.
Hey Chigg, I’m about to move your way from Pennsylvania, anyway you could point me to a good spot to find something good for my first hunt in a new state?
What a huge property! Get the metal detector when he plows the field and detect. We don't want you too get swollowed up by a sink hole!! Please don't go by yourself, please!! HH!! ~ Norma~
Every time I see one of your videos, I give you a thumbs up. Thanks for showing us Paw Paws again. One day I hope to try them. A sort of bucket list item for me. Tie yourself onto to one of those trees before venturing down in the sink holes....just saying... ;)
If your ever in Western PA I could take you to some sweet spots old limestone mines multiple sink holes and miles of underground workings all hard stone
Aqua, what state you in? We had paw paws in southeast Ohio where I went to school. They used to hold a festival for paw paw related things (beer, food, etc).

Since you are always venturing further then you plan you should ALWAYS take water with you. Thanks for the upload.

Aqua, what state you in? We had paw paws in southeast Ohio where I went to school. They used to hold a festival for paw paw related things (beer, food, etc).
Here in Europe we sadly don't have Paw Paws. What is the scientific name of that tree? How to get some seed? Cheers!
