- Hey everyone for this review I take on the dark gloomy stealth game 2Dark for the Playstation 4. This game may be just what its name is to dark for some players with a story revolving around you saving kidnapped kids from serial killers. There is not only mentions of kids being killed by artwork depicting it and you can even kill them yourself. However though is the game any fun? It is also available on Xbox One and Steam.
I did receive this game from the publisher for the purpose of this review.
My reviews are 100% unbiased and I will never do one unless I am confident enough to do so. I use a scale of 1 - 10 with 5 being a average game. Many professional reviewers use 7 as a average game which I find is more of a trick to convince you the consumer that a game is better then it really is.

Hey everyone thanks for checking out the review since I got the game from the publisher for the review I don't always know the price before doing the review which I just found out is 29.99 which wow that is super super high. I still think this game is worth checking out and really did enjoy its story but 29.99 is way overpriced for what the game is. Not having a platinum is unacceptable as well for that price point. So yeah still good game but get it on sale.

I asked Frederick Raynal about that issue. He said that the publisher (BigBen Interactive) made that decision to charge $30 on the US PS Store.
It is 20 Euro in german stores, 20 in the PS store and right now you can get it for 6 bucks during the Halloween sale. I think for that money and after this review, I'll check it out.
This game is now on sale for $6 on Xbox. I’m not sure if this is a good game or not but for 6 bucks. I will try if

Hey, i just want to give you a little feedback to help you make your videos better. Please, when talking about awesome art on the posters, please show it in the video, so we can relate to what you are saying. Same goes with the soundeffects, let us hear what you mean, let us feel how anoyed you were by playing that soundeffect over and over again in different gameplay-situations. Nevertheless, i liked the way you explained the games mechanics and how you described and showed what the game is all about. Also i like how you dont seem to be reading a script. You talk allmost freely, at least it feels like that. Thanks you for the review, you saved me some bucks.

I actually really enjoy this game, and I'm glad you were able to look past some of it technical flaws, to realize that it is quite good... I feel like the game has been underrated by others, and is destined to be a bit of a cult classic, for those with patience. Been following your videos for a little while, but was impressed by this review in particular, enough to make me want to subscribe to your channel. Thanks for reviewing games that others may miss.

I love games that are willing to go the extra mile to show or talk about subjects that others would stray from. This does so and the new Berserk game does so as well. And if left uncut, the new Danganronpa collection will follow suit. Good to see the industry taking risks and touching on risque topics.
I usually love this type of game but while I kinda liked it, it also was quite frustrating at times.
The stealth mechanics don't really work that good, the traps are more like frustrating insta kill jump scares (where you always get send back to the last time you manually saved) and the boss fights are always a bit of a let down. Also you're almost always out of ammo and need to try to backstab people more often than you want, in my experience.
However it has great music, creative ideas and can be really exciting sometimes.
I got the game for 3€ at a local stoer and didn't expect too much, was pleasantly surprised, get's a 6/10 from me. :)

It s dark, but a great horror stealth game.
For an RPG game that reminds me of Nintendo, The game is truly a master piece. It really made me feel emotions I thought I couldn't feel in a game.

just finished the game on ps4.... i don't care about the graphic looks like a ps1 game, the gameplay itself was make me kinda addicted to it.. honestly its a good steath game.. go try it

I found the game kinda frustrating in a lot of places, because it felt like the mechanics weren't quite on-point. However, the concept was really good. If the developer did a spiritual sequel and looked to a couple of other titles for mechanic improvement (for example, Hitman) it could really be something to write home about. The concept of investigating a serial-killer's lair is very enticing.

You can zoom in but not change the direction of the camera unfortunately.

I was hyped when I saw this game was from the same guys that did Alone in the Dark, the OG survival horror before Resident Evil was even a thought. But idk, this looks kinda... basic? The visuals, the sounds (as they were described), the gameplay. Is everything better than it looks, or is this just short of hitting the mark?

+Wildsleven yes I have it took roughly 5 to 6 hours but that will depend on how you approach each area, your stealth tactics and how often you save.
The premise appeals to me powerfully, but the cartoonish design repels me even more. A mature-themed game should have mature-themed visuals.
I don't understand the precious moment bobble head look. Ruined the remaster of langrisser for me.

its very stupid that people get so upset about the game thats dark. i mean, wtf is a GAME!!!!
i miss the days when Cornshaq appeared in his reviews. i love his reviews & it's the first place I goto when looking at a game. Cornshaq is just a personable guy & his reviews are honest. u just feel like you are talking to a mate about games.
