Looks great. I'm glad it got reviews because it completely flew under my radar. I love horror games and this seems to be totally up my alley. I also love how they manage to break the mould a bit and go for a top-down stealth game instead of a first-person walking simulator-esque game, or a 2D side-scrolling game. (like so many games seem to have been the last 2-3 years).
I agree though, as a father the moment I saw these people were harming kids I was motivated to save the little ones; the moment I saw Scarletts stage and saw what she was doing to kids I was ENRAGED!!! They all had to die. Oh and I also killed the lady on the circus stage at first too. I thought she was a creepy man that stole kids but later I realized she is the "Bearded Beauty" from the old circus poster on the stage, she just grew old and weak.
Thanks for the review, I've bought the game during the Halloween sale on the PS4 store after watching this. Sure, I've only payed 6 bucks, but still... I had the collectors edition in my hands several time now while browsing the store, but unfortunately neither the box, nor the trailer are showing any ingame pictures, which is quite a stupid decision. For some reason I was under the impression that the game would look like those generic "Adventure Game Creator" games and that alone was enough to not buy it. Apparently I was wrong, so now I am curious what awaits me.
Cosmic Engine ? I just wanna know if it effects the story or not because I'm at the dog fight level where I knocked this one SK out with an electric fence. (Forgot his name)
Unfortunately these developers are very shady. They kickstarted this game on Ulule with a promised GoG drm-free version, then decided (after receiving full funding) to get a publisher, make XB1 and PS4 versions, and add Denuvo (thus cancelling the GoG version). Regardless of if the game is good, there are too many other good games out there to support Gloomywood's selfish and anti-consumer business practices,

You shouldn't hv spoiled the part where u shot the old lady. That was lame. Why did u do that? U robbed people of experiencing that just so u can say "wow that really was deep" oh so now it's not for others.
